The GAP in Brno
Mojzesová, Šárka ; Hudeček, Vladimír (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the design of an apartment building whose primary function is to fill a gap in Brno in the town district of Černá Pole – specifically on the street Traubova. The area in question lies close to the historic centre. Although it is surrounded by two busy and noisy roads, the selected gap provides a quiet and private corner. At present, the property has mature greenery and a garden for an apartment building in the courtyard. The aim of this work is to effectively complete the missing house in the development, to build on the surrounding structures and to provide new housing in the city centre. The location has good amenities and perfect accessibility from which to draw. The proposal offers a purely accommodation function with additional space for expanding relations within the building's community and respects the proximity of the detached apartment building in the interior.
WINERY MARCINČÁK NOVOSEDLY
Milošová, Vendula ; Hudeček, Vladimír (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is based on an architectural study of the subject Atelier's work AG032 and a design study of the subject of the Comprehensive Project AG036. The award contained several requests from the investor. The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new-build winery in the village of Novosedly. Sorted parcels with parcel numbers 5844/2, 5764/29, 5764/55 and 5764/3 on which the building project is located and is located in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Novosedly. The main access to the property is from the main road 414 and further along the asphalt road, which also serves as a cycleway. The building is situated near the property boundary, i.e. its northwest side. From the very situation emerges the basic concept of the project, which is to try to build a new domination of the village, while respecting the surroundings of the vineyards. One of the goals is to combine production, tasting and accommodation into one complex whole. The final design was influenced by the view of long-distance views from the area to the surrounding area (on Pálava) and another equally important one, by the creation of a resting place and meeting of people who go specifically for wine tasting or a selfless view of the surrounding area. The proposed building is two-storey, partially sunk in the terrain, when I took advantage of a large high jump in the terrain. On the first floor there is wine production and storage for subsequent export or preservation of wine. On the second above-ground floor there are areas for visitors, namely tasting and accommodation. A characteristic feature of the building is the saddle roof, which floats on the Old Mountain, thanks to considerable glass and lightening by means of columns. An important point of the proposal is the creation of a closed but open space (courts).

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of a new VW group car centre. The project is based on the studio work AG 033 carried out in the second year. The land is located in Mikulov at Jiráskova Street. This is a part of Mikulov located in the industrial zone. The building is designed next to a former agricultural centre. On the south side, the land is surrounded by a field. It is a flat plot. The whole building consists of three interconnected buildings. Each of them has a different function. The entrance building is a car showroom used for the sale of cars of the VW concern, which also includes the brands Audi, Škoda and Seat. This is the only one of the three buildings that has two storeys with six offices on the second floor. It is followed by a lower building serving as warehouses. The third property is a car repair shop. The supporting structure of the showroom is formed by a skeleton. The beams are made of two UPE 280 profiles, on which a lattice truss is welded, supporting the roof structure. The second type of horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete beams, supporting the second floor and then the roof. The warehouse building is designed as a wall supporting system. The building has an industrial character; the facade of the car centre is designed as a ventilated facade, covered with DEKMETAL cassettes. The Schüco facade system has been used for the showroom glazing.

THE SUBJECT OF THIS BACHELOR THESIS IS TO DESIGN A BUILDING OBJECT / GROUP OF BUILDING OBJECTS OF THE WINERY MARCINČÁK IN THE VILLAGE NOVOSEDLY. THE BACHELOR THESIS BUILDS ON THE COURSE AG032 – ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STUDIO II. (PRODUCTION BUILDINGS) IN ADDITION, ON PRE-PREPARED ARCHITECTURAL STUDY. THE PROJECT ADDRESSES A CONSTRUCTION OF THE GROUP OF BUILDING OBJECTS, WHICH SERVE SIMULTANEOUSLY THREE FUNCTIONS – ACCOMODATION, PRESENTATION AND PRODUCTION OF WINE. INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS ARE DESIGNED AS INDEPENDENT UNITS. THEY CAN BE IMPLEMENTED IN SEVERAL STAGES, WHICH IS HIGHLY BENEFICIAL FOR THE INVESTOR´S FINANCIAL BURDEN. THE LOCATION OF THE BUILDING IS SITUATED IN VERY LUCRATIVE AREA OF WELL KNOWN WINE REGION IN THE SOUTH OF MORAVIA. PARCEL OF LAND ITSELF LIES AT THE FOOT OF A RATHER SMALLER BUT CHARMING MILITARY HILL „STARÁ HORA“, WHICH BELONGS TO THE DANUBE HILLS. VINEYARDS SURROUND CONSTRUCTION AREA FROM ALL SIDES. DESIGN THEREFORE REFLECTS THE MAXIMUM CONSIDERATE APPROACH TO THE NATURAL CHARACTER OF THE SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE. THE KEY TO MANTAINING HARMONY OF THE DESIGNED BUILDING OBJECTS WITH UNSPOILED NATURE IS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE INFLUENCE OF THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT ON THEIR ARCHITECTURAL EXPRESSION. NEW BUILDING OBJECTS SHOULD ATTRACT, BUT DO NOT DISTURB THE SURROUNDING NATURE AT ANY COST! FOR THIS REASON DESIGN COMPRISES NATURAL MATERIALS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE. SPECIFICALLY, IT CONCERNS WOODEN BUILDINGS. WOOD IS MODERN AND APPEALING BUT DOES NOT DISTURB THE ORDER AND HARMONY. IT IS THEREFORE IDEAL TO UTILIZE IT, NOT ONLY AS A CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT BUT ESPECIALLY AS A CREATOR OF UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE THAT DEEPENS THE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE DISTINCTIVE „GENIUS LOCI“.

The bachelor's thesis is based on a previously prepared study of the Volkswagen Group Autocentre in the subject AG033 and expands it with DSP and DPS documentation. Proposed building is located on the outskirts of Mikulov. Solved area is surrounded by the field from one side and by the production and agricultural industries from the others. The land is located between Jiráskova and Republikánské obrany streets. New building was adapted in response to the sloping trapezoidal land so it was led parallel to the angle of the land. Car center is divided into three main units, interconnected to each other to maintain traffic between different parts of the object. The main part is made up of showroom, where new cars of four associated brands belonging to Volkswagen Group are presented. This part is also used for the sale of cars and the administration on the second floor. The third part of the building, which is provided to the warehouse, was inserted into the sloping part of the shoowroom and thus creates mass gradation of entire building. The warehouse is connected to sales point of spare parts and service where car repairs take place. In the service was designed background for mechanics, which includes changing rooms with sanitary facilities, living room and a technical room for the entire building. Parts of the car center are non-basement and single-storey except for offices in the shoowroom. The construction system is the same for all units. It is a ferroconcrete skeletal system with longitudinal trusses. The reinforcement was achieved by a rigid ceiling slab, which consists of a trapezoidal sheet metal with a concrete slab. Reinforcement is ensured by a reinforced concrete wall core. The building transfers the load to the reinforced concrete footings, which are interconnected by concrete strips in combination with drilled piles. Other vertical structures were created a glass facade system, Kingspan panels and plasterboard partitions in the interior. The horizont

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to design a new car center of the Volswagen group. The project is based on an architectural study, which was prepared within the subject AG033 – Architecture design studio on the topic of Autocentrum VW Group Mikulov in the 2nd year of bachelor's study. The plot is located in the cadastral territory of Mikulov in Moravia, Břeclav district, It is located in the industrial part of the city, the surrounding buildings are made up of industrial buildings, especially storages and productions. There is also a scrap metal purchase and warehouse. The plot is currently registered as an area intended for construction by production. The plot is located on flat terrain. The proposed object responds to the required functions. It is oriented perpendicular to Jiráskova Street, the main entrances are oriented to the main street towards the built-up part of the city. The building is located longitudinally on the plot and corresponds to its shape. It consists of three objects that are interconnected. Individual objects have their own function. The first building is adapted and designed mainly for sales and car show purposes. This is the most dominant building. It is followed by a significantly smaller and partially hidden storage area, which also includes facilities for employees and hygiene loops. In the last, rear part is the service. This is the second dominant part, highlighted by an illuminated expanded metal facade. The main material on the building is concrete, which is in line with the industrial character of the building and its surroundings. The façade is made of Cetris cement-fiber boards, which resemble the structure of white concrete. In the service building, the facade is solved with an openwork facade made of expanded metal, under which there is a smooth lime-cement plaster of white color. Concrete structures are also copied into the interior, especially by the recognized load-bearing elements in the individual parts.
