Health literacy in primary and secondary school and health literacy of university students

This work examines the acknowledges and skills from the first-aid treatment among the students from the primary, secondary schools, also among the students at the universities and teachers with a longtime practise. And from the results of the interview investigation it is looking for the causes of the lowness consciousness and ignorance of the important themes of first-aid treatment. It also investigates if is it possible to leam the first aid in terms of the compulsory education or in cascading grades of education. Especially by means of the study of curriculum (generály educational programs, subjects and biology textbooks). The possible cause of the critical condition of the restrictive student's acknowledges can be teacher's under-qualification. The part of this work is a proposal of the curriculum of health seminar for teachers which is filled with the corresponding studying text.
The landscape and the environment in science and biology teaching on the secondary school

The theme of this thesis is landscape and environment and the possibility of bringing this theme into the education curriculum at elementary and secondary schools. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the importance of this theme to education, to map out the distribution of this theme in the curriculum for elementary education (RVP ZV), and offer some possibilities and ideas to teachers of how to work with this theme. The first part of this thesis is theoretical and is divided into three chapters: landscape, countryside and legislative. The second part of this thesis focuses on the didactic transformation of the theme, analyzes the curriculum documents (RVP ZV), and researches set-up and results. The third part contains two school projects about landscape and some other ideas for teachers. The title of the thesis is "The methods of molecular biiology in the court genetics as a topic of a specialized lesson on a high school". The thesis consideres the problematics of molecular biology methods that are used by the court genetics. It describes the respective methods and techniques utilized in the criminalistic routine. The work is split into six main chapters. The first, introductive chapter includes hypothesis and sets down the goals if the thesis. The second part dwells on the methods of molecular biology. It mentions the base information on DNA, methods and technologies used in criminalistics. Each subchapter attends to one method or techique.

Práce obsahuje souhrnné informace o steroidních hormonech, o zvlášnostech jejich metabolismu, o jejich systémovém působení a vlivu na chování. Cílem této práce bylo dát dohromady metodickou část dané problematiky. Jakými způsoby popisuje literatura možnosti zpracování vzorků obsahujících steroidní hormony.
Growth, Development, and Selected Demographic Data of Macaca mullata Living in Captivity

Diplomová práce se zabývá generačními rozdíly v růstu hmotnosti, výšky a výšky v sedě u makaků rhesusů (Macaca mulatta) chovaných v zajetí z primatologického centra v Konárovicích v České republice a z primatologického centra v Soči v Rusku. Dále se zaměřuje také na sezónnost měsíců narození a pohlavní poměr narozených jedinců v jednotlivých generacích. Teoretická část obsahuje základní informace o makaku rhesusovi a o historii primatologických studií.. V praktické části jsou zpracována longitudinální a demografická data podle jednotlivých generací. Poslední část je didaktická, která představuje makaka rhesuse, jako modelový druh úzkonosého primáta, a dále podává základní informace o primátech vhodné pro výuku na ZŠ a SŠ. Central nervous system - specific developmental disorders in learning, anatomic coordination and hyperactivity in primary school

This presentation deals with and partially summeries available data, which are relevant to characteristic, causes and diagnostics, but also correcting each of specific growing disorders in learning and syndrom ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). My aim of this bachelor thesis presentation is to pursue realization of current knowledge regarding this matter. The intention of my study was to discover specific growing disorders in learning and the ADHD syndrome on the first level in Laudova Elementary School, Repy. My hypotheses are based on studies of well-known specialist, in which it says that with children, both dyslexy and the ADHD syndrome occurs more with boys than girls. 1 completed this experiment in Laudova School. I received concrete evidence about the number of specific growing disorders in learning and of the ADHD syndrome, from each class. From my experiment at Laudova School, follows that most pupils are diagnosed with dysorthography. The dyslexy is the second place at this school with more boys affected. This confirms the hypothesis that the ADHD syndrome occurs more in boys than girls. This experiment proves that the studied expert theory is correct. BMI values ​​of pupils of second level elementary schools

More and more children are fascinated with idea of perfect slender figure today that brings them over a boundary of health troubles. The causes of this phenomenon are mainly seen in social and psychical factors, but biological causes, which have at least as same or stronger influence on subconscious perception of weight, are usually ignored. The important part of satisfied personality is not only weight but height of individuum as well. The ratio between these two parameters is determined by the Body Mass index (BMI) and in this thesis I will focused on why the values of BMI are essentially significant for adolescent. This submitted rigorous work thesis deals with values of BMI and factors that influence pupils in the age of 10 - 16 years. Identified values results from measurements of 681 pupils on 8 Prague's primary schools. The results of weight and height measuring were compared with findings of national anthropological research of the year 2001, let us say 1991. From the measurement that was made is clear that there was no increase of average body weight of boys in every categories under examination and as well no decrease of average body weight of girls in every categories under examination in comparison with CAV 2001. The Influence of the Human on Nature in a Historical Context with an Educational Hike - Týnec nad Sázavou

The principal goal of this diploma thesis is to study the impact of human's activity on the nature in the region of Týnec nad Sázavou from the beginning of the human's colonization until today. This impact was not only negative, we can find positive influences, too. The work is divided into six general chapters that describe always one particular problem. Purposes and hypothesis of the diploma thesis are introduced in the first chapter, which is a prologue of the present work. History of Týnec nad Sázavou and of the country around is described in the second chapter and provides an image of the city's industrial and structural development. Research work of the influence of human's activity on the nature during the history is presented in the third chapter. Several domains were studied: geology, relief and country sight, climatic effects, soil, fauna and flora in Týnec and surroundings, nature protection, forests, river Sázava, housing, industry, traffic and other networks. Situation in the history, present condition of the nature, author's evaluation and suggestion for regeneration are described for every field of study. The presented thesis, Human Health from the Perspective of Integral Anthropology, comprises six chapters. The introductory chapter is focused on theoretical questions of health and illness. Special focus is given to subject matter in the context of biological as well as social anthropology. These two disciplines are established in Europe as Integral Anthropology. Chapter further contains selected definitions of health. Next chapter is focused on health in relation to quality of life and meaningfulness of life. This chapter refers to the measurement of quality of life, cues and life targets, intrinsic faith and V. E. Frankl's logo therapy. The topic of the third chapter is illness of human life. This chapter discusses the concept of illness, disease and sickness, as well as bio-psychosocial and spiritual model of illness and civilization diseases. Chapter four makes up fundamental part of the work. This chapter's main focus is on primary, secondary and tertiary plane of health prevention. The presented thesis is devoted to the issue of gerontology. In the theoretical part I will define the basic terms of social gerontology and then I will briefly deal with its history and current activities. In the next part I will continue by integrating the social gerontology into the world context and I will shortly expand on the demographic situation in our country and in the world. I will also mention the symptoms of ageing and its prevention. In the research part I will interview students of two Prague grammar schools and the following chapter will be devoted to the treatment and the evaluation of the results. In the practical part I will try to suggest some issues for the social gerontology that could be possibly incorporated to the Framework educational programme.
