Software Support for Projects Management

This project describes design and implementation of project management information system support, mainly for IT organizations. It includes informations about basic facts in project management and mainly about Rational Unified Process, the modern metodology which is well usefull in today changeable environment. System is implemented in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 with support of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and consists of ASP.NET presentation and of DLL library written in C# language. Information system provides support for project planing and management. System work in standard internet browsers and is very usefull for geografically devided teams.

Service Point Part of the Caterng Information System

This thesis is about making catering information system. "Only" service point part has been realized, because of huge size of whole system. This WinForm application is based on internal 3-layer architecture. From outer perspective, there are only two layers - client one and server one. Besides customizing bill of fare, service point part also provides efficient work with touch screens, which are used for food output. Strong emphasis lay on implemented user interface, stability and also solving problems like offline functionality

Personal Scheduler

The main purpose of this bachelor's theses is to sum up the knowledge about personal scheduling, which is focused especially on financial advisors. Next topic is to mark out the main goals of the program based on the analysis of existing planners. Next part is design and implementation of own personal scheduler and database and its testing and discussion of aproached goals and options of improvement this program.

E-Learning Course of Driving School

Master's thesis contains basic informations about e-learning and describe it by many criteria. It also describes progress and current trends in e-learning and what is needed to create interactive study materials and courses. I analyse most important advantages and disadvantages of these courses. I designed Web-based training system (WBT) for driving school, which is implemented as a program prototype of e-learning system.

Application for Detection of Plagiarism

This thesis is dealing with programming languages C and C++, various methods writing their constructions and development of application which detects very similar programs written in these languages. The application is intended to control plagiarism in school projects in which students have to create a program in C or C++. The application can check short programs as well as large programs divided into several modules.

A Tool for Collaborative Support in Pre-Project Phase

The aim of this thesis is to design and realize an application for the management of project opportunities for the specific needs of IBM Czech Republic. The work presents the basic methods and approaches for particular time and financial planning. The application is developed in C++ using the Qt framework from Nokia. The tool uses the SQLite relational database.

Methodology and Software Support for Risk Management in Projects

This master's thesis deals with the area of risk management in project management. The aim is to create a complex risk management methodology and a functional prototype of the system that complements and supports it. The methodology is based on the fundamental principles of these areas and the analysis of currently used project and risk management approaches in practice. Selected were PRINCE2, Agile Approach and ITIL. The advantages of the methodology are its complexity, no bound to any standard but based on methodology's positive features. Based on the methodology, a web application for management and visualization of projects and risks has been developed and supports work with it.
