Diplomová práce obsahuje základní informace o e-learnigu a jeho rozdělení podle různých kritérií. Taktéž je popsán vývoj a současné trendy e-learningu. Je řečeno, co je třeba k vytvoření distanční (elektronických) studijních materiálů a kurzů. Rozebrány jsou i nejvýznamnější výhody a nevýhody těchto kurzů. V neposlední řadě je i navrhnut základ pro e-learningový výukový systém (WBT/LMS) autoškoly, který je také implementován  v podobě prototypu systému. Master's thesis contains basic informations about e-learning and describe it by many criteria. It also describes progress and current trends in e-learning and what is needed to create interactive study materials and courses. I analyse most important advantages and disadvantages of these courses. I designed Web-based training system (WBT) for driving school, which is implemented as a program prototype of e-learning system.
