Evaluating the effectiveness of complex protection measures in cadastral area Jerlochovice in Husí potok Watershed
Matoušek, Petr ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
A subject of this Thesis is the design of the complex system of measures of soil conservation in given catchment area, which will serve as a concept of complex land consolidation in cadaster Jerlochovice. Based on the analysis and the land survey, a feasible solution was designed using the hydrological and erosive tools of ArcGIS. For the identification of areas endangered by erosion and for the identification of runoff conditions, the Universal Soil Loss Equation of Wischmeier-Smith was used (in grid modification). Based on the calculated values, the suitable technical and agrotechnical measures of soil erosion control were designed. Each component was designed for the values of Qn from the model DesQ. Subsequently the efectivity of the designed measures was evaluated by the comparison of results of erosive and runoff conditions before and after the aplication of the soil and water conservation measures.
Evaluation impact of the landscape structures on erosion and runoff conditions in given catchment area
Švandová, Tereza ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this Thesis is to determine the impact of landscape change and erosion in given watershed. This case is evaluating Kamenec cadastral area. Changes in crops and spatial distribution of the fields are evaluated first in 1954, when the monitored area was without agricultural cooperative farms and land was used in a smal land parcels. This was compared to the evaluation in 2015 when land was part of agricultural cooperatives and was used in large units. The changes in landscape and its use were imense. Land exploatation, heavy machinery and non conservation cultivation led to its soil compaction and deterioration of the K factor. To evaluate soil losses I used a method USLE and program ArcGIS
A study of erosion control system using biotechnical conservation measures
Moravec, Jiří ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis was the study of soil erosion control with application of system of semi-natural measures in chosen small catchment. Digital elevation model was generated and average soil loss was determined by ArcGis tools at each erosion parcel . Design of erosion control at chosen erosion risked locality was create in Microstation software and InRoads utilities. As a type of enviromental erossion control mesures was chosen a system of a earthfill dams with the sedimentation area in combination with grassing. The thesis efforts to point the differences between the possible optimal solution and a compromise solution which respects the requirements of agricultural entities. The solution respects the trend of water retention in landscape and use of low cost measures.

Blatný, Marek ; Kepák, T. ; Sobotková, Veronika ; Jelínek, Martin ; Slezáčková, Alena ; Bartošová, Kateřina ; Tóthová, K.
Psychosocial problems of patients who underwent childhood malignancy treatment are together with health problems the most severe consequences of anticancer therapy. In this study, we deal with relationship between severity of late effects and subjective quality of life of childhood cancer survivors. The sample consisted of 95 cancer survivors (47 boys and 48 girls) aged 13 to 19 who were in remission for 2 to 5 years at the time of examination. To measure quality of life we used the Minnesota-Minneapolis Quality of Life Instrument (MMQL), severity of late effects we assessed on 4-point scale in accordance with CTCAE (Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events v3.0). Severity of late effects of anticancer therapy influences negatively physical functioning, cognitive functioning, body image and social functioning. Psychological (emotional) functioning and outlook of life are not significantly impacted by severity of late effects.
Antisocial behavior of adolescents and its relationship to dimensions of Five factor model of personality
Sobotková, Veronika ; Blatný, Marek ; Jelínek, Martin
Antisocial behavior essential type of risk behavior in adolescence. The incidence, seriousness, and typical symptoms are solved in particular in relation to demographic variables - age, sex, size of place of residence. Relatively few studies deal with the relationship between antisocial behavior and personality traits. In this study, we focused on the relationship between the Big Five dimensions and antisocial behavior. Research was conducted with a sample of high school students (N = 108, 51% girls). We used antisocial behavior scale from the SAHA questionnaire (Social and Health Assessment, for personality traits we used the NEO-FFI questionnaire. Analyses were made separately for girls and boys. For both genders, antisocial behavior is consistently associated with Conscientiousness. Another factors have different connections with antisocial behavior for boys and girls. The results support the hypothesis of a different aetiology of antisocial behavior in boys and girls.
Psychosocial context of antisocial behavior of adolescents: the main results of the SAHA project
Sobotková, Veronika ; Blatný, Marek ; Jelínek, Martin ; Hrdlička, M.
The study gives overview of main results of Czech part of the International SAHA project (Social And Health Assessment) in the area of antisocial behavior. The Social and Health Assessment (SAHA), a school survey, was conducted with 4980 adolescents (age 12-16years old) in Prague and 12 regional capitals of the Czech Republic. In current study data from 3023 adolescents aged 12 – 14 years are presented. K-means cluster analysis was used to identify the main clusters of antisocial behavior. Subsequently, adolescents from different clusters were compared on the levels of their substance use, affiliation with peers, parent child interactions, attachment to school, and violence exposure. Four major clusters of children were identified: the first cluster (17% of the sample) comprised children with mild conduct problems, adolescents from the second cluster (2%) reported the highest levels of all types of antisocial behavior, the third cluster (56%) included non-problematic children with the lowest levels of antisocial behavior, and children in the fourth cluster (16%) were characterized by moderate aggressive behavior (fistfights and shoving) and no other expressions of antisocial behavior. The cluster 2, children with highest levels of all types of antisocial behavior, have been found as the most risk and threatened group with high levels of other risk behaviors (substance use, affiliation with delinquent peers) and negative social influences (poor family relationships, violence exposure).

The study deals with relation between antisocial behavior in adolescence and school environment. The Social and Health Assessment (SAHA), a school survey, was administered to a nationwide sample of 4,980 adolescents in three age cohorts (12, 14, and 16 years) in Prague and 12 regional capitals of the Czech Republic. In present study we focus on cohorts of 12 and 14 years old adolescents (N = 3023). K-means cluster analysis on the items of Antisocial Behavior Scale was used to identify the main clusters of antisocial behavior. Four major clusters of children were identified. Subsequently, adolescents from different clusters were compared on the levels of their attachment to school, school climate, perceived support from teachers and general motivation to study. As we expected, adolescents from the cluster with high rate of antisocial behaviors perceive the school environment as the most negative.
