The Impact of New Institutions on the Culture of Managing Construction Enterprise

The dissertation deals with the management culture of a construction company in connection with the new roles that are introduced in the Czech Republic (CR), especially after it became a member state of the European Union. In the introduction to the dissertation, two hypotheses are proposed. In the following theoretical part, it deals with the first general definition of corporate culture and ethics linked to the quality of work and new roles. In order to understand these difficult times, which are characterized by various types of crises, an analysis of the construction industry is made. Next, a description of the legislative developments in the CR is made and the influence of computer technology in construction management is marginally mentioned. It’s implementing the new technology that has an increasing impact on the organization and quality of work. The ability to use computer technology has in essence become a measure of the level of development of the management culture in the given construction company. The main theoretical part defines the roles in question, including their historical development, origin and the cause of their occurrence in both the CR and the neighboring countries.

Heating of the Manufacturing Hall with the administration

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to compare different heating systems for industrial buildings and to find suitable solution for the heating system of the manufacturing building located on Brno periphery. The manufacturing area consists of two one-floor manufacturing halls and three-floors administrative building. The building heating is ensured conventionally, forced ventilation is only in manufacturing halls. The heat source is gas condensing boiler located together with air-conditioning unit in technical room. The heating system is designed with accent to smooth and effective functionality.

Bachelor´s thesis includes the design and construction plan for a family house with a place of business in the town of Olomouc in the stage of project documentation for construction. The object has a rectangular ground plan, one basement, three groundfloors, attic and roof. The roof is designed as a saddle. To the building lead a pedestrian and access roads and the land is fenced. The main part of the building is intended for living, groundfloor is using for store with the purpose of the travel agency.

Analysis of transportation in Slovakia

The theme of this thesis is the analysis of transportation in the Slovak Republic with a focus on freight transportation. The Output of the thesis is recommendations for improvements of transportation in the Slovak Republic. The theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge on transportation, transportation infrastructure, principles of SWOT analysis, method for evaluation of alternatives and the general characteristics of the Slovak Republic. The practical part is focused on the analysis of transporation and creation of recommendations based on this analysis.

The practical part proceed compilation of whole financial calculation in first five years of business and valuation of investment. In the summary I deal about realization of financial project and additional changes in project. Thesis uncover big risk of project because of probably low sales in domestic market. Success could be in bigger markets.

In this paper I tried to cover existing body of work of French film director Bruno Dumont. In his five feature films I tried to find common motives to examine the specificity of his work. What are the film tools he uses to address the spectator and what is the purpose. I identified the dominant motives as four philosophical categories: body, territory, awaken one self, guilt.

Microstructure and Anisotropy of Creep in Ti-46Al-2W-0.5Si Castings

The present study investigates microstructure and creep behaviour of the cast alloy Ti-46A1-2W-0.5Si (at-%) at temperatures 700, 750 and 800°C and applied stresses between 250-420 MPa. Solidification of the alloy during precision casting is associated with two processes: (i) the growth of the [0001].alpha. oriented columnar grains from the mould wall into the cast interior and (ii) the enrichment of the central part of the cast with aluminium. The first process results in a fully lamellar microstructure where lamellae are preferentially oriented parallel to the cast surface. The second process contributes to the development of the duplex microstructure in the central part of the cast. It is shown that distinct microstructural types in different regions of the cast result in different creep strengths. Specimens taken from inside of the cast and oriented parallel to the cast bar axis exhibited the lowest creep strength while similarly oriented specimens cut from the fully lamellar region near the cast surface were the strongest. The third type of the creep specimens cut out of the central region of the cast and oriented perpendicular to the cast bar axis showed the intermediate creep strength. The observed variations of the creep strength are associated with the preferential orientation of the lamellas and with the fraction of equiaxed .gamma.-grains in the duplex regions of the cast.

Preparation of T-Mobile for the acquisition of National price for CSR

Thesis is focused on the Corporate Social Responsibility. The main objective of this work is to create an Interim Report on CSR T-Mobile and evaluate it using the method KORP. The theoretical part provides the necessary conceptual apparatus regarding CSR, the National Price for CSR and the principle of the methodology KORP. The practical part describes the brief characteristics of T-Mobile. Contains created Interim Report on CSR with the point evaluation. It also states the strengths and opportunities for the organization of T-Mobile. Conclusion summarizes the importance of CSR and the result of the practical part.
