Management of the Author Král Šumavy MTB Race

Name: Management of the Author Král Šumavy MTB Race Goal: Presentation of strengths and weaknesses of the Author Král Šumavy MTB 2020 cycling race and the creation of a list of specific measures improving the organisation of the race for the year 2021 and following. Methods: In this thesis three research methods (semi-structured interview, participant observation, questionnaire), and one analytical method (SWOT analysis), are used. The opinions of the race participants weree obtained with an eletronic questionnaire (sent to emails of all participants in 2020). The organizers'view of the race management is clarified through semi-structured interviews. The overall view of the management was observed through participant observation made by two independent researchers on the day of the race (August 22, 2020) at the venue. All obtained data are analysed through SWOT analysis. Results: The thesis provides a detailed analysis of the 27th year of the race. The results show that the strengths include the location of the race, the difficulty of the routes and the care of participants. The weakness is the current way of financing the race. The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball

Title: The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball Objectives: The thesis aims to determine the contribution of foreign players who were active in the Czech baseball extraleague at the game and club level for the seasons 2015-2020. The diploma thesis compares the effectiveness of game performance of foreign players with Czech players. Conducting statistical analysis can show how many foreign players were on individual teams, and how effective they are for the team. Methods: The thesis analyzes secondary data obtained from the information system of the Czech Baseball Association and data collected by the baseball-stat web portal. Furthermore, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representatives of six Extraleague clubs. The number of foreign players in 2015-2020 and their national composition was examined. Central to the thesis were statistics such as Wins Above Replacement (WAR), Number of innings pitched (IP), Earned run average (ERA) and Batting average (BA). Results: In conclusion, the thesis analyzes secondary sources compared with an analysis of interviews with representatives of Extraleague clubs. Title: Marketing communication on social networks of sports organizations Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to create suggestions and recommendations for sports associations how to use social media as an instrument for communication and promotion. Methods: Three methods were used in this work. The first method is an in-depth interview with managers of three sports associations. The second method is content analysis, which focused on the published content on social networks of sports associations. The third method is comparison. It compared the results of an in- depth interview and content analysis of each sport association. Results: The results showed that of the communicated topics of sports associations, the topic of national teams and Czech players playing abroad is the most attractive for followers. As for the type of post, a photo, as well as graphics or short video were evaluated as the most attractive on Facebook and Instagram. Furthermore, the research yielded results on the frequency of publishing, content promotion and the use of influencers from the community around the sports association. Title: Marketing recruitment campaign of new members to the club TJ Vodní Stavby Praha - Zelený pruh Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of previous recruitment campaigns and the creation of a new comprehensive marketing promotion for the club of rhythmic gymnastics TJ Vodní Stavby Praha - Zelený pruh with the intention of increasing the membership base and awareness of the club. Methods: The bachelor thesis is based on the analysis of secondary data associated with the researched club (number of members, evaluation of flyers from past years, club social networks and website). Next part was quantitative method of personal interviewing of parents of participating children in order to find out the feedback of resources used to promote recruitment. and comparison of recruitment strategies of other local clubs. Results: After analysing the secondary data of the club, it was found out how many members had been added after each recruitment and what the recruitment contributions looked like. Title: Sport Events Crisis Management by RunCzech during the Pandemic Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to provide an objective view on the possible form of crisis management in the context of mass sports events and coronavirus crisis. Methods: The research was done thanks to qualitative methods when the needed data were gathered by interview and by documents and virtual data content analysis. Virtual and documents data were collected throughout the first wave of the coronavirus crisis in the Czech Republic. The interviews were done with Saša Belovski, the Business Development Director for RunCzech, after the first wave of the coronavirus crisis. Results: The results of this research were processed with a case study. That allows a detailed analysis of the occurred crisis, which impacted not only the organization (the RunCzech in this case) but also its stakeholders. The results prove mainly the importance of pre-crisis prevention, timely and precise crisis communication and also the need for flexible adjusting to the occurred crisis. Title: Characteristics and management of sokol volunteers Objectives: The main objective of this thesis aims to characterize Sokol volunteers and to map the criteria that affect them and are perceived by them as key to performing their responsibilities. A marginal focus is on the satisfaction with the current management. A partial task is to describe this form of long-term sports volunteering. Methods: For the purposes of this bachelor thesis, mixed research was used. The method of quantitative questionnaire survey was applied among 119 Sokol volunteers in the form of an electronic questionnaire. The second method used is the method of a qualitative in- depth semi-structured interview, which was used for interviews with representatives of the management of the Czech Sokol Organization. Results: Sokol volunteers were characterized in terms of socio-demographic characteristics, motivation, barriers to activity, history with the organization, inclusion in the organization, financial and time requirements and qualifications. Title: Foreign ownership in Czech football Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor's thesis was to find out the current mood of fans in the Czech Republic regarding future potential owners, as well as current owners, and investors from abroad in Czech football. My effort was to analyse the concept of foreign football leagues, according to which they approached and are approaching foreign owners and what possible measures they use. The targeted outcome of my bachelor's thesis was to present the opinions and concerns of ordinary and diehard supporters on this topic and a reflection on the possible changes that the League Football Association could follow. Methods: I use electronic questioning for my bachelor thesis. The questionnaire is semi- structured - a situation of combining a standardized type of questionnaire and a type with open questions. On the one hand, there is the ease of adding and comparing data for a fixed list of questions, and on the other hand, the respondent has the opportunity to express himself in more words and thus add a more comprehensive opinion. Title: Motivation and care of foreigners in Czech ice hockey. Goal: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine the motivation and extent of care of athletes who have come to play ice hockey in the Czech Republic. Methods: In the research part of this bachelor's thesis, a qualitative method of research was used, namely the method of semi-structured interviews. The respondents are the members of the implementation team and foreign players playing in the Czech Extraliga teams. There were six interviews conducted until April 2021. Results: For analysing the interviews was used a comparative method. As a result of this research, the particular recommendations were structured for the clubs aimed to help them to improve relations with foreign players. These final recommendations were made based on the conducted interviews with participants and presented in the ninth chapter. Use of Jr. NBA League programme for Czech basketball

Title: Use of Jr. NBA League programme for the Czech basketball Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to completely analyze all four seasons of Jr.NBA in Czech Republic and to suggest specific recommendations for organizers. Methods: To achieve the goal of the thesis there were used methods such as primary external data analysis, in-depth interview, online survey, participant observation and SWOT analysis Results: Aspects of communication of the organizational matters and organization of Draft and The Finals are among the strengths of the programme. Weaknesses such as the number of schools and high competitive game requirements for schools participating in the programme are found to be severe. The biggest opportunity of the project is in getting bigger and more intense cooperation of clubs both within the project and in a way of approaching more kids for their youth programmes or after-school activities. Sport events which will be taking place next year or years after can be significantly used for promotion of the project and Czech basketball as well. Possibly the next waves of global pandemic or some other consequences related to Mother Nature can be considered for real threats.
Transfer regulations in Czech hockey and its impacts

Title: Transfer regulations in Czech ice hockey and its impacts Objectives: The main goal of this work is, by research, to evaluate the functioning of the current transfer rules in Czech ice hockey and to reveal its shortcomings. Subsequently, to develop proposals for its modifications, which can be applied in the Czech hockey environment. Methods: To obtain the necessary data, the research consists of both quantitative and qualitative parts. Thus, a combination of two methods was used, namely electronic questioning and in-depth interview. The work also used the method of document analysis - the current transfer regulations. The shortcomings and subsequent impacts on the environment of ice hockey have been ascertained from the first expert, and what are the reasons for functioning in current form, from the second one. In both cases, the interview took place as an interview using instructions. Development diagrams were created to interpret the results. To verify the results of in-depth interviews and to find out the possibility of applying potential changes, an electronic survey was conducted among the representatives of individual clubs.
