introduction: • Bachelor's work is built on my previous work and artistic expressions of interest, namely: the concept, action art, installation, readymade, cultural Management, curatorship and related documentation of events conceptual content of the work: • interest in the thematization / exploring the boundaries between imagination, visuality, formative reality of the art world and audience reactions goal: • Create Intermedia installation, sacred space conclusion • and finally reached to the real place full of monuments of Faculty of Fine Arts, able to be moved anywhere, such as the D1 form: Intermedia installation multidisciplinary overlap: • Environmental elements (creating a special place) technology: • Note.: Technology is in my opinion perceived more as a thought, a conceptual process • hired stonemasons working on the granite slabs (grinding and creation of individual names embossed signs leading studios) • transfer of monuments and installation of memorial (photo documentation in the final catalog)

The aim of the dissertation is to interpret genius loci of the industrial and periphery landscape in painting and photography. Symbolic aspects originating from the atmosphere of the place are analyzed on the basis of concrete artists, works and resources. Another aim of the dissertation is to map contemporary Czech artists. Their works are put into context with roots in the arts history and with foreign artists. Apart from paintings, the photographic works are discussed. However, only names and works that can illustrate the concerned content areas have been selected.

I deal with the production process of the painting base. I created a custom folding system already stretched canvas, which can reduce its size. On the other hand, this folding formed procesual abstract paintings on the surface of the canvas. Finally I created installation (5 white canvases, of which only one can be folded, but this one is indistinguishable from the others), which I complete with the documented research in previous paintings.

My thesis is consisting of videos and delegated performance. Videos are recordings of the people on the edge of our society, performance is dealing with problematics of a crowd. This work reflects my interest in people of weird charakter

A doctoral thesis “Czechoslovakian modernist illustration of the 1950s and 1960s and its influences in the contemporary Czech visual culture” is focused on how a modernist illustration of the 1950s and 1960s influences Czech contemporary authors, especially illustrators. We can witness a particularly strong influence of the above mentioned modernist illustration and visual culture of that period in general among producers employing digital tools and vector graphics served. The thesis contains a historical study which follows developments of the visual language of graphic arts (illustration in particular) in the 1950s and 1960s in relation to fine arts. There is a special focus on a position of the 1960s’ modernist illustration within the applied arts of the period. Biographical study dedicated to illustrator M. Šašek introduce key figure of the (late) modernist period.
