Application for Mikrotik RouterOS Remote Management
Doležal, Jiří ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for remote management MikroTik RouterOS. Within this thesis has been created an application which allows to configure network router services. The thesis contains design and implementation of an application written in programming language C#. The application is runnable under operation systems MS Windows and Linux by using framework Mono. The application uses a user friendly graphical interface for simple management devices with MikroTik RouterOS.
Application for Recognition of Human Eye Retina
Drozd, Radek ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The blood vessels layout in a human eye retina is unique for every person in the world, so it is one of important biometric characteristics. Processing of colour retina image may be a part of an intended biometric system. There is an algorithm for automatic blood vessels detection, optic disc and macula localisation, finding of bifurcation points and saving those as a biometric template presented in this bachelor's thesis. C++ programming language and OpenCV library were used for implementation. The application was tested on a set of colour retina images, taken by fundus camera. The final application is supposed to run on a digital signal processor, developed by Texas Instruments. The thesis gives the introduction into biometrics, signal processing and human eye anatomy.
Module for Measuring Temperature and Humidity with Ethernet Interface
Brzobohatý, Lukáš ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is the design and implementation module for measuring temperature and humidity, which sends the measured values via the Ethernet interface. The core module is the Microchip PIC18F67J60 microcontroller with integrated Ethernet controller. Temperature and humidity sensor is realized by SHT15 communicating via the serial interface. Valuable is solved using the HTTP server. HTTP server is part of the TCP / IP stack freely available directly to the manufacturer Microchip. Measured values are displayed in the user interface, which is solved by web applications.
Management of UPS Supplies with GSM Technology
Hájek, Josef ; Slaný, Karel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Theme of the Master's thesis is issue of backup power units and its attributes. There is also complete proposal of UPS power unit which can be used to control and monitor backup batteries. Power supply is fully controlled via Ethernet interface using TCI/IP protocol. The other chapter describes complete development of TCI/IP GSM unit which can be used for communication interface between GSM and Ethernet protocol. UPS and GSM modules are developed in details. The Master.s thesis includes all needed information for HW unit development and also for controlling software as well. Universal solution of the modules allows number possibilities of further development.
Development of Platform for Three-Rotor Helicopter
Votava, Martin ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is design and built of platform for three-rotor helicopter development. The helicopter is also known as tricopter. Theoretical part describes principle of tricopter's flight and stabilization. There is also described basics inertial navigation system and sensors which are required for correct functionality. Practical part is dedicated to development of tricopter's frame, schematics diagram, communication between subsystems and stabilization system development. Flight stablization system is base on ATmega128A an using PID Controller. In the end is described testing of developed platform.
Design and Construction of Your Own Robot Chassis
Janečka, Jan ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the study of different robotic chassis types, their properties and selected types of sensors, including their characteristics. Furthermore, the design and implementation of my own robotic chassis is presented. This robotic chassis was realized and all plans and production drawings are presented in my thesis. The software ( rmware) for the control of my robotic chassis, including obstacle avoidance, is described in detail. The following chapter deals with tests of my chassis in various situations. The maximal and minimal limits of the realized robotic chassis are discussed in the final chapter.
Design of Quadrocopter
Uhlíř, Václav ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
This student paper discusses basic concept of quadrocopter for purpose of academic platform for testing and development. Paper includes basic overview of construction, stabilization and controlling of quadrocopter. As result of this paper is presented concept of quadrocopter and its constructed prototype with included software console for wireless control under Android system.
Wireless Voting System
Slezák, David ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and implementation of wireless voting system based on the IQRF technology. The thesis describes mentioned IQRF technology and compares its features with others wireless technologies. It also describes the architecture design and communication protocol of the proposed system. The system consists of device conected to computer which collects data from the voting stations. The core of the thesis is the implementation of this components and implementation of control application for the computer. In conclusion, discussed the achievements and possible improvements.
Generation of Cryptographic Key from Eye Biometric Features
Semerád, Lukáš ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The main topic of the thesis is creation of formulas for the amount of information entropy in biometric characteristics of iris and retina. This field of science in biometrics named above is unstudied yet, so the thesis tries to initiate research in this direction. The thesis also discusses the historical context of security and identification fields according to biometric characteristics of a human being with an overlap for potential usage in biometrics of iris and retina. The Daugman’s algorithm for converting iris image into the binary code which can be used as a cryptographic key is discussed in detail. An application implementing this conversion is also a part of the thesis.
Guard System for Household with Usage of GSM Communication
Křesal, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
Theme of the Bachelor's thesis is the issue of security of households. Discusses the current methods of protection, of their typical characteristics and shortcomings. Based on information gathered from the opening chapters is designed and engineered an electronic security device with alarm transmission to the mobile phone. Remote control of electrical appliances and supervision households via the Internet extends the applicability of the system. The conclusion of this work is devoted to the hardware implementation of the proposed security system. Software implementation is not discussed here and will be part of further development.
