Determination of carbon footprint in relation to the production unit of the budget indicator

The presented diploma thesis analyses the possibilities of determining the carbon footprint in relation to the production unit of the budget indicator. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic concepts associated with the carbon footprint and construction industry. The aim of this thesis is to quantify the carbon footprint of construction process, mainly during the production phase, and to compare the carbon footprint of objects of different production technology. The main output is the determination of an average carbon footprint converted to a unit of the budget indicator.

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is „Strategy view for company focused on lavender production“. The Thesis comprises characteristics of Ecological Agriculture, Lavender plant, Agrotourism and Employment of People with Disabilities. The work comprises analysis of internal and external business environment and analysis of the work activities of company. These data provide the basis of the SWOT matrix. Final results are strategies of future development for company Lavandia s.r.o.

Etologické pozorování životních projevů kozy bílé krátkosrsté

This thesis is focused on the ethological behavior of the White Shorthaired goat. At the beginning there is information about the goat population in the Czech Republic, a description of the historical ethology development as a scientific discipline and it's divisions and also possibilities of ethological observation and ethological testing. Basic types of animals’ behavior and welfare together with ethological behavior of the goats, taxonomical classification and domestication is described. The main part of the thesis is devoted specifically to the ethological observation of the white shorthaired goat. This observation was focused on the different activity of kids and adult goats. The most frequent life expressions of both observed groups were grazing and walking on a grazing area aimed at finding tastier plants. On a smaller scale adult goats were ruminating when laying and relaxing, whilst kids were more focused on social contact like playing games and nibbling tree bark and other items. The least observed activities done by both adults and kids were drinking and excretion.

The first part contains theoretical concepts. The second part contains basic information about the company and possible solutions. The third part is about creating application.

The main part is devoted to the design of own solution and the last one deals with the summary of changes. The output is an informati-on system enriched with improvements.

The Use of Artificial Intelligence for Decision Making in the Firm

Artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic related to it currently belong to very popular and rapidly expanding technological subjects. It finds use in many areas, which also include the process of prediction of future states based on specific finite input characteristics. This master’s thesis deals with predictions that are done in field of agricultural crops growing. Basic principles that are affecting mentioned agricultural growing are explained here, their meaning and significance are specified, these are later on perceived as a key aspect to creation of fuzzy models that are used for prediction. This process is specifically about finding out the most suitable crop on considered parcel for maximization of income. Second part of design section is dedicated to description of approaches for work with fuzzy models and is also used as demonstration of application created for purpose of this thesis.
