Path Tracing on GPU

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is an implemetation and following acceleration of Path Tracing algorithm. This algorithm will be implemented on the GPU using OpenGL. Above rendered scene will be built Octree data structure. Then the acceleration, which was achieved using this data structure, will be measured.

The Development of Czech Law of Inheritance in Respect of the Autonomy of Testator's Will

S u m m a r y The goal of this thesis is to analyse the autonomy of the testator's will in the development of the Czech law of inheritance. The text is divided into nine chapters including introduction and conclusion. In the introduction there is defined the subject of the paper. In the first chapter readers may find the definition of the law of inheritance from different points of view and in different meanings. The basic legal principles of the law of inheritance are enumerated and described in respect of the topic. Then there is a brief recapitulation of the sources of the law of inheritance in the area of the present Czech Republic from 1811 until present in the last section of this chapter. All possible ways, how the testator can express his will, are generally described in the second chapter. There are mentioned legal tools of the testator's will for example testament, legacy, contract of inheritance, donation by cause of death, disinheritance, succession, conditions, directions etc. The principles and base of the above mentioned tools are given, as well, but mostly in the next chapters, where is described legal regulation of particular legal institutions in historical context. "Kaptorgas" in early Middle Ages

Presented BA thesis "Early medieval kaptorga" dealing with metal caskets which were worn on the neck by the women in the early medieval period and called by the archaeologists "kaptorgas".This work summarises available archeological material together with the published finds of kaptorgas from Bohemia and Moravia. Introductional part of the work dealing with questions of origin, purpose and social status of women which worn them. The main part of this work contains typology a complete register of kaptorgas sorted by archeoligical locality. Detailed description and style analysis accompanied with pictures is the other important part of this work. The relevant information are arranged in synoptical table.

Legal consequences with respect to the breach of contract under civil law

S u m m a r y The goal of this thesis is to analyse the legal consequences of the breach of contract, especially under civil law, although, some essential comparison with legal regulation of commercial law is given, too. The text is divided into ten chapters. In the introduction, i. e. in the first two chapters the term of contract is defined and then the basic legal principles of the contractual law are enumerated and described in respect of the topic. The third chapter deals with the subject of the paper globally and shortly characterises each consequence of the breach of contract. The account of them is also given. The following chapters provide complete information how every consequence works and which part it plays in the Czech legal system. Specifically, Chapter Four is focused on debtor's delay and Chapter Five on creditor's delay. Chapter Six investigates liability for damage and damages a bit, as well. Chapter Seven deals with liability for defects and Chapter Eight is about contractual fine. In Chapter Nine is mentioned discharge of contract and its consequences. Each of in this paragraph enumerated chapters describes its subject itself and also relevant related problems in context with practice of the courts. Tree inventory and proposal of new trees along old carriage road in Kostelec nad Černými lesy

Thesis is focused on the Carriage route at Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy as a historical and dendrological route from Kostelec to Cesky Brod. Content of this thesis is the inventory of historical and exotic trees along this route, furthermore there is contained offer, how to proper treat this trees and also, following sprout of trees to fill the alley. Thesis rates the condition of neighboring exotic cover of Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Phellodendron amurense, Juglans nigra and Carya cordiformis.
During the inventory along the route, there was found in total 13 autochtonous and 13 allochtonous trees. At these individuals were find out information about the height, diameter growth at breast height, age, stability, health condition and also the physiological age. The result of this thesis is a list of recorded trees with theirs scores of physiological attributes, then the offer, how to proper treat this trees and following sprout of trees to fill the alley. All these information are transferred into map file in software GIS. Further thesis contains information of this historical route and archival maps.

Analysis of the performance in the men's javelin throw from 1945 to the present in the Czech Republic

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu vývoje výkonnosti v hodu oštěpem mužů od roku 1945 až po současnost na našem území. Analyzovali jsme a zpracovali výkony atletů, na základě kterých jsme došli k závěru. Zhodnotili jsme podle studií, zda má vliv na výkon dnešní modernější doba, nebo nastal zlom už dříve. Získali jsme tak informace o aktuální výkonnosti. Hod oštěpem je jednou z nejoblíbenějších disciplín v atletice. Výsledky z analýzy v této práci mohou pomoci s nácvikem či dokonce samotným plánováním tréninku. Druhá světová válka se negativně podepsala na rozvoji této disciplíny i jiných sportů. Po jejím ukončení se však postupně začal zvyšovat počet sportovců a zároveň výkonnost oštěpařů. Vývoj výkonnosti ovlivňuje dnes mnoho faktorů jako jsou např. sportovní třídy, sportovní střediska, státní podpora či dokonce společenské změny.

This thesis deals with analysis of customer´s satisfaction in Tesco express in the Malinovskeho square. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on data processing of marketing and procedure of individual analysis. The practical part of the present Tesco company and it´s store and result´s of questionnaire and SWOT analysis. The final section includes its own suggestions and recommendations designed to improve the solved situation.

This work describes procedure for designing computer network and preparation which the school must do before starting the installation of the network. In work is described, which components are necessary to create the computer network and what properties must have. In this thesis are taken into account best possible use and acceptable price for school.

Response time of thermometers

The aim of the work is the analysis of the characteristics of resistive and termočlánkových sensors, the description of their principle, basic parameters, structural design and last but not least is probably the most important part of the work of the explanation, analysis and practical experiment to see the time constant of the sensor. In the first part of the thesis explains the basic concepts and principles of thermal quantities of phenomena. Then it is done the basic classification of methods of measuring temperature with the inclusion of the main points of the content of this work. The next section will deal with the main issues of the work. First comes an explanation of the nature of resistive sensors and is explained in the next chapter the principle of thermocouples. The following is the chapter on the construction of the sensors. Here is a design of the sensor for the dismantled the practical use in industry and in other applications.. In the next chapter is described in detail at the issue of the time constants of the sensor. This chapter contains not only an explanation of this concept, but also to derive equations for the description of sensor behavior important in changing the conditions of real traffic. The following is the part where they are dismembered influences affecting the time constant of the device. These effects can significantly affect the otherwise high accuracy thermometers mentioned above. The last chapter deals with practical measurement of time constants specified thermometers. The measurement was carried out in two different environments, in boiling water and warm air. The assessment of the results of the measurements showed that the time constant in an environment of boiling water is significantly smaller than in the case of hot air, and that for all of the measured objects.

Possibilities of CAx systems in industrial practice

Usage of computer aid becomes an integral part of every engineering company. The first part of this thesis contains a description of CAx systems, their historical development and use. Second part deals with problematics of 3axis machining in CAD/CAM system Inventor HSM from company Autodesk, Inc. The target of this part was to select optimal machining strategies, choose ideal tools, determine the cutting conditions and verify the whole process by simulation help.
