We applied the pedagogical, linguistic, and marginally also the musicological approach. The educational communication was described based on partial objectives. The first research part deals with research and description of communication structures where we were finding out what types of communication structures occur in the educational communication and what communication structures are represented the most. The second research part deals with research and description of communication (illocutionary) functions where we were interested in with what intents the teachers and pupils communicate and in what frequency. Realia in Textbooks of Czech for Foreigners

Resumé This master thesis is focused on description and summary of information about Czech politics, geography, sport, culture and Czech character which may be met by foreigner in selected textbooks for foreigners. The goal is to determine whether and how these findings correspond to the research about Czech culture and differences between national cultures, done by some scientists. The aim is to provide information in which way are shown in selected textbooks topics as power distance, role of man an woman in society, how are in textbooks described people from the point of age, if there is taken shape of competitiveness or cooperation, how the Czech ethnics is described, view on own history, what is the image of foreigners in textbooks and how is presented Czech culture. Works wonders whether the manner and content of the information presented about Czech culture can be understood by a foreign ethnic group, which is currently living in the Czech Republic.
Czech language competence among foreign pupils in Czech schools (focus on reading comprehension)

The present thesis discusses certain aspects of Czech as a foreign or second language. The theoretical section includes a definition of the term foreign pupil in the context of Czech education, an overview of the legislative framework of foreign pupils' education and a discussion of language education on the international level with a focus on Czech as a foreign language. Last but not least, the significance of reading literacy is assessed with regard to its use in language education. The thesis aims to establish the level of reading comprehension skills in foreign pupils of primary schools who are in their second stage of basic education. The assessment was carried out by means of a didactic test closely based on the language competence criteria as set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The results of the research were analysed according to several criteria influencing the foreign pupil's involvement in Czech language classes, and subsequently compared to the results achieved by pupils who are native speakers of Czech.
Shifts of a college students' idiolect under the influence of Prague Czech

This work consists of two parts - practical and theoretical. The theoretical part deals with forms of Czech language in relation with an ordinary way of speaking. It covers topics from standard language through ordinary one, characteristics of dialects and a problematic of colloquial Czech language. It mentions also social differentiation of the language. One chapter deals with an introduction of the "Český jazykový atlas", which is considered as a base of dialectology. The theoretical part introduces different views of linguists on a current state of the language and its next development as well as a relation between standard and ordinary language. The practical part sets up a target to confirm an assumption, that long term living in Prague environment influences an idiolect of a student, who lives in a different place in the Czech Republic. The group for a verification of this assumption was set up from college students. The research was realised in a form of questionnaires and sound records.
How to Use Art-philetic Approach for the Communication with a Child with a Handicap

The aim of this thesis is to search if drawings and paintings can become a bridge between non verbal and verbal communication and how can we use so called art-philetic approach for this intention. What can drawings or paintings say about a child and how can we communicate through the drawings or paintings, that's the main object of this work. We will introduce the art therapy mainly because the art-philetic has the origin in this discipline. Than we will concentrate on the art-philetic, we will describe its potenciality as a chance for communication with a child that is handicaped in the verbal speech. Minor Place-names in the Žďársko Region

This bachelor thesis contains 190 minor place-names from a part of the Žďársko region. Three types of minor place-names, which correspond to the three main chapters, are examined: hydronyms, oronyms and land names. The minor place-names belonging to a given group are listed alphabetically in each section. Each name is given the type of geographical unit and sources from which it was read out. The main objective of this work is to determine the origin of the examined anoikonyms. This research deals with word formation analysis and distribution of minor place-names into groups according to their significance. Various methods of collection, analysis and interpretation of the collected data were applied to create this work. A number of different printed materials, journals and internet resources were used to explain all the examined entries. It was necessary to attend an interview with witnesses or experts in the discipline of analysis, too.

Na základě teoretických východisek a magnetofonových nahrávek zkoumá a popisuje vliv zautomatizovaných výslovnostních návyků z mateřského, německého, jazyka na jazyk cílový, český. Integrating ICT into teaching czech language

The goal of this dissertation thesis is to describe the necessary conditions and possibilities of integrating information and communication technologies (ICT) into teaching Czech language and literature. Modern information and communication technologies are part of daily life of students and teachers. As especially teachers are involved into implementation of ICT into the education process, this thesis is focused on the issue from teachers point of view. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the new trends and concepts of integration ICT into primary education which are discussed in the world and it describes revision of Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives, which could be as Bloom's digital taxonomy used in setting learning objectives in the information society of the 21st century. Based on the known typologies of implementation ICT into teaching, this thesis introduces a new typology, which is primarily oriented on educational field Czech language and literature. Finally in this part, the thesis summarizes the pros and cons of implementation of ICT into education. Acquisition of Nominal Categories by the Child

This (bachelor's) thesis deals with the subject of child language acquisition and also presents own partial research in this area. The first part describes the theoretical and historical background of findings about this issue and describes the various conceptions and factors that influence or determine the acquisition of child speech. It introduces the ontogenetic developement of speech and also all the consequential phases of the child speech aquisition. It mentions contemporary approaches that are more and more complex and it follows the results of previous researches in the Czech and Slovak environment. It also mentions the importance of pre-school education which is focused on the acquisition of the (key) communication competencies. The second part of this study is based on the research. This research is focused on the process of acquisition of noun grammatical categories by a particular Czech speaking child. It describes an oral production of the child between the ages of 2.9 to 3.2. It includes a detailed description of the methodology and data obtaining within observation of the dialogue between the child and his mother.
