Foreigner language learning at students with specific learning difficulties

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of the most important points, which determine the quality of foreign language education of a student with specific learning difficulties (SLD). The main subject of this thesis is the student with SLD himself, and the complication his disturbance causes. Furthermore I explain the impact of such complication on language education. In addition I focus on the family circumstances of the individual and the school class social integration background. I monitored the influence of the near-country border surrounding of northern Bohemia on the choice of the particular foreign language for individuals with SLD.

My work deals with the activity of Educational Care Centre Klíčov - PONTIS, which is residential section of preventive education for children and youth with behavioural disorders. It is the section 1 work as an educational worker assistant with specialization in sporting activities. The first part of my work, consisting of 3 chapters contains some basic facts and concepts connecting with social, psychological and behavioural disorders of our clients, with social-educational activity in general and also with the position of Educational Care Centers in the social support, care and education system. In the second part, consisting of 7 chapters I deal with the factual aims and with the educational system of our Centre. I also deal with the problems and questions the persons (workers and clients) in our Centre are confronted most often with.
The Life and Rights of the Unborn.

This work deals with the problem of life and rights of unborn children and it is observed from different points of view. The key question is in which moment the life as such begins and should be protected. Attention is paid to the status of human embryo, different views on interruption, problem of assisted reproduction and research on embryonic stem cells. The work is enriched by opinions of Czech well-known experts on the topic discussed.
Alteration of some psychological methods, which are applicable school readiness at hearing-impaired children

There is a wide range of different psycho diagnostics methods for evaluation of the school readiness of the pre-school children; however, there is no single method that is standardized or has benchmarks for hard-hearing and deaf children in the Czech Republic. This dissertation describes strong and weak point of the standard psycho diagnostic methods as well as provides recommendation which methods shall be used for psycho diagnostics of the school readiness of the hard-hearing and deaf children. The dissertation also outlines particular testing methodology for the hard-hearing and deaf children. The nine most frequently used methods were chosen for the dissertation research. A questionable understanding of the standard instruction has been indicated in seven methods: Screening Test of School Readiness, Ravens Progressive Matrices, Reversal Test, Retracing Test, Laterality Test and Drawing test of Human and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. Two methods cannot be used for hard-hearing or deaf children at all, since they test ability to recognize sounds of the speech; this was a Test of auditory differentiation a WPPSI Performance Scale. Moreover, WPPSI Performance Scale is a pure verbal based test focused on measuring verbal intelligence.

The work deals with the definition of ergotherapy at social work and its position within the system, focusing on constitutional ergotherapy at work with senior citizens and its use in relation to art therapy and music therapy. Constitutional ergotherapy techniques have been outlined as well. The practical part examines the improvement of seniors' life quality through constitutional ergotherapy.
Adults with Specific Learning Malfunctions

This work deals with adults with specific learning difficulties. In view of the fact that diagnosis is usually made in younger scholl age, for the difficulties reveal mostly during getting the knack of reading, writing and counting, a considerable part of this work deals only with the children with specific learning difficulties. The reason is the necessity to understand the manifestations and difficulties that originate from the specific learning difficulties and that have an influence on the adulthood.
The Integration of Hearing Handocapped Children

This graduation thesis is devoted to the issue of an integration of hearing impaired children into basic schools. This theme is examined from theoretical and practical side as well. Text of the thesis is complemented with data from Czech Statistical Office. It was pedagogues, parents and children that were addressed during the research, which was focused on the integration of hard of hearing children into schools. In the end, it revealed, that the realized integration was successful and positively assessed by all participants.
Communication Taboo in the Family

In the preface of this work I talking about quality of our life. Work on the assumption life should be lived as good as possible. We can't do this without understanding who we are? What we are feeling? What we need? What our neighbour need? What they are feeling? It's obvious, our family formed us in the most sensitive period of our life. We are without experiences, vulnerable. We will formed our children in the same way. I show the taboo from the many views and positions. Taboo is unremitting and still changing component of our lifes. The separation taboo from natural keeping secrets - privacy is very important. I used taboo as an affect negatively instrument in family communication. Taboo can interrupt the family communication.
