This paper, entitled: "Perceptions of childhood reflected in literature" focuses on the perception of childhood, and the importance, and role, of this period in relation to the entirety of a human lifetime. It focuses on the current perception of childhood, built upon the works of Zdeněk Helus, taking into account the historical perceptions of childhood and its subsequent evolution from past to present. It explores and compares themes of childhood between expert literature and works of fiction. Japanese fairy tales and their use in drama education

The diploma thesis deals with the application of Japanese fairy tales in drama education lessons at Primary school. The goal of the thesis is to consider the suitability of Japanese fairy tales in the drama education lessons. The thesis is devided into the theoretical and practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part I deal with a brief theory of fairytales. The second chapter is about Japanese fairy tales. The classification of Japanese fairy tales is described and there are also some examples. The third chapter is about fairy tales in the drama education. The practical part serves to verify the goals of the diploma thesis. Four Japanese fairy tales, in which drama education methods and techniques were used, are processed and reflected. All the lessons were realised at Primary school.

Personal and social education as part of further education of kindergarten teachers

This thesis deals with the personal and social development of preschool teachers as one of the possibilities for their further education. The theoretical part describes the current available types of professional competencies of current preschool teachers and focuses on their professional development through personal and social education (PSE). The aim of the empirical part is to create, implement and reflect short-term practical training for kindergarten teachers in selected topics of personal and social education through a form of action research. Selected topics (issue of rules in kindergarten, communication and mental hygiene) came from a questionnaire of interest in education issues of PSE. The aim of the course is skills training and improving of professional competence of teachers in selected areas through self-experience activities. Also the course leads teachers to think about appropriate solutions of problematic educational situations through joint discussion, sharing of professional experiences, reflection and self-reflection of teachers. Teaching german language through drama at the waldorf school

This diploma thesis is devoted to the application of drama in German language teaching at Waldorf school. The content itself provides a theoretical insight into the basic concepts and principles of drama education and foreign language teaching at primary school. For the sake of clarity and understanding, these basic levels related to the subject are more elaborated in the introductory chapters. The theoretical part also includes chapters related to Waldorf pedagogy and its basic principles. In the practical part, one of the main objectives was to verify whether methods of dramatic education in German language teaching could support the pupil's ability to express themselves, with an emphasis on the verbal component. The work also includes description and reflection of three lessons, the aim of which was to find out whether the selected methods of drama in foreign language teaching have an impact on pupils' ability to communicate effectively and on the overall outcome of the learning process. At the end of the thesis are described findings, which confirm the benefits of including elements of drama education in foreign language teaching, and also where their influence manifested most.
Developing the speech of a child reciter and the possibilities of his presenting

The thesis deals with a child - the reciter and looks into ways of recitation. The aim of the thesis is to describe these ways and to map which of them vote children - the reciters and their reciter's guides the most often. The first theoretical part is focused on explanation of basic notions that bind to child recitation and then to analyzing particular phases of recitation process. The second research part is divided into three parts according to used research methods. Via observation method was detected what is the situation on recitation competitions and exhibitions especially within Dětská scéna competition. Survey and structured interwievs were picked for detection of ways of working with children - the reciters.
Czech folk festivals through dramatic education

The diploma thesis is focused on Czech folk feasts. They are introduced to pupils by using methods of drama education. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part contains the characteristic of drama education and its methods, purposes and principles. In the theoretical part there is also an explanation of Czech folk and non-traditional feasts. The theoretical part also allows interior view into drama education methods czech feasts. These feasts are part of "Man and his world", which is part educational program for elementary school. In the practical part there is written five individual lessons, which were realized in the third year of elementary school. Each lesson is focused for specific czech feast. These lessons support communication, cooperation and individual abilities of all pupils. Beacause of that children absorb basic methods of drama education. I tried to create these lessons for every teacher, even if drama it's not their topic. The practical part also includes my results and elaborated suggestions for further lessons. 1 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the possibility of using Jaroslav Foglar's work in dramatic education at elementary school.The aim of the diploma thesis is to verify the influence of methods and techniques of dramatic education through Jaroslav Foglar's texts in the form of value charts and attitudes in the life of pupils of the 5th year of primary school.How dramatic education helps with methods and techniques - first fordeepest adoption of Jaroslav Foglar's work, and second - to increase understanding and adoption of given values and attitudes.The theoretical part focuses on the personality and work of Jaroslav Foglar and his timeless message. It focuses on the concept of drama education, its aims, principles, forms, methods and techniques. At the same time, it focuses on the analysis of the work in terms of dramatic education. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, three thematic units focusing on the moral qualities of the human being, using methods and techniques of dramatic education, are elaborated on the basis of books and short stories by Jaroslav Foglar. Work out of choosen ethical topics from the book Treasure Under the Snow through the Structured Drama.

In my thesis I am covering the chosen ethical topics from the book Treasures of the Snow using the structured drama. The aim of this thesis was to identify if pupils could find a solution that would prevent the unethical behaviour based on their experience from the book? The paper is divided into theoretical and practical sections, the practical section is based off the conclusion made in theoretical one. The first part of the thesis focuses on the following chosen subjects; Ethics, Drama in Education, Czech language and literature which are covered in the Framework education programme for elementary education and it is also analysing how these subjects fit into the School educational programme within Primary School Kunratice (Commutation - Learning - Cooperation), where the practical research was performed with the children from 5th grade. These subjects merge together in a created auctorial structured drama "About a friendship that overcame various difficulties", which serves as a tool for the research.
