Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability. Example of anthroposophy approach

Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability is a quite new discipline in czech discourse. The aim of this bachelor work is to introduce, how pastoral care of people with intellectual disability looks like and how it function. Resource of the pastoral care is in gospel. It pursues growth of human being in level of bio-psycho-socio-spiritual, and so on. The "Theology of disability" is resource for pastoral care too. "Theology of disability" tries about inclusion of people with intellectual disability and disability in general. Tries about incluison into society and community. That all through Christian's values and love. Techniques of pastoral care are in general to sing a songs, some predicitons, to read biblical texts, prayers and support in growth of human being and to deal with difficult life circumstances. Pastoral care of people with intellectual disability provides the same fundamental human rights, which have people without disabilities too. With emphesizing Christianity and anthroposophy. It provides for them to meet with themselves, and to gain their dreams, wishes, needs and face to their anxiety and fears too. That all through different techniques.
The exercise of parental responsibility by persons serving prison sentence

The Diploma Thesis called The exercise of parental responsibility by persons serving prison sentence deals with the institute of parental responsibility, which means fulfilling and execution of rights and duties of parents serving prison sentence towards their underage children. Legal framework of this institute pursuant to current legislation in the Civil Code is described in detail in the theoretic part, the next part deals with the execution of sentence prison sentence as a specific life circumstance in which a human being is caught in as a parent. The research survey carried out in selected Czech penitentiaries for execution of prison sentence of men and women. The thesis analyses the current legislation of rights and duties of parents serving prison sentence and maps their carrying out in practice. Using the quantitative methodology, the results of the research survey show that rights and duties of parents acknowledged by legislation and in practice of the Constitutional court of the Czech Republic are substantially restricted during the execution of prison sentence. Pastoral Care as Teamwork

The aim of this work is to map the basic approaches to pastoral care from the point of view of pastoral care itself, as well as from the perspective of the originality of pastoral workers. It provides a particular probe into pastoral care as such in terms of its motivations and causes, which differ in why and from whom impulse to pastoral service originated. It provides an overview of pastoral care in terms of its timeliness and goals. Each pastoral care is different from it causes, and this has the effect on its methods, course, and goals. The work deals with the usual content of pastoral work and how it differs with regard to the personality of the pastoral worker. It deals with the question of whether pastoral care is to be carried out by the appointed professionals, or whether pastoral care is a matter of wider relations within the church.
Aspect of faith in burnout syndrome

The aim of the bachelor thesis "The aspect of faith in burnout syndrome" was to reflect on the relationship of belief to burnout. Does belief in God help to prevent burnout or under certain circumstances, can it be a risk factor? Burnout develops as a result of disturbing the inner balance of a person caused by the long-term effects of negative factors from the external environment (stressors), which will meet certain risk factors of personality. In this work the risk personality patterns, which are controled of internal drivers (inner motivators), viewed from the perspective of transactional analysis. These motivators are advices and commands from childhood, such as "Try hard!", "Be Perfect!" and the others that then shape the reality of man. If a person does not brake them, but supports them, then he is like a candle burning from both sides - shining greatly, but it burns out faster. This work attempts to find out whether belief in God is in the process of burnout a brake or "fuel". The theoretical part is divided into two main thematic areas. Guilt and reconciliation in families caring for a disabled child

The bachelor thesis within pastoral-social confines deals treats a subject of guilt and reconciliation in a specific milieu of the families taking care of the child with disability. From a psychotherapeutical point of view the thesis focuses on creation of guilt and its mechanism of action as well as on the factors influencing reconciliation and its role as a currative action. From a pastoral point of view, the thesis I observes mainly a spiritual dimension of both themes in the context of families taking care of the child with disability and covers the assessment a of a handicap in a Christian society. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis points out a theological concept of the guilt and reconciliation and clarifies how, from the psychoterapheutical point of view, the both motifs affect the experiencing of families taking care of child with handicap; in this part I have been used a specialised literature as a source of the knowledge. The practical part analyses, on a base of the theoretical parts elements, adequate case reports and outlines possible means of the pastoral worker's intervention. Juvenile men serving imprisonment and support for self-esteem

Presented thesis entitled Juvenile men in their sentence of imprisonment and their self-respect support tries to find out the possibilities of self-respect support by juvenile men in their sentence of imprisonment. The work is divided into three parts. The first part, including two chapters, deals with a theoretical scope of the theme on the basis of specialist literature. The first chapter determines a term of self-respect, compares its different definitions and presents self-respect in spiritual context. It concentrates on juvenile imprisoned men self-respect and secondary prevention programmes offered by prisons. The second chapter summarizes practical possibilities and sources of self- respect support. It explores the usage of elements of secondary prevention of delinquency and pastoral care. It summarizes possibilities of self-respect support of juvenile imprisoned men and difficulties in work with a target group. The second part presents a qualitative research made by the author in the period of two years, primarily in prisons. The research activities (group and individual interviews, documents' analysis) were aimed at discovering factors that endanger self-respect of sentenced persons, and also realistic ways of support. This thesis focuses on the biblical view of refugees in the context of the current events. It analyses the examples of refugees described in the Bible and general biblical principles that apply both to the refugees and to those who welcome them in their own countries. It shortly describes the situation in a few European countries and also mentions one particular story of a refugee. The thesis applies the conclusions drawn from the biblical stories and principles on the current situation with the goal of providing the biblical view on some of the actual questions concerning refugees.
Reintegration of Imprisoned Men Back to the Society

The thesis deals with issues of serving the prison term, particularly negative effects, which can influence the person convicted in prison. The main aim of the thesis is to describe the process of reintegration from serving the prison term until consequent integration into society and to find out the method how to prevent those negative effects of the prison environment. The thesis also describes terms such as socialization, social rehabilitation, penology and penitentiary. The main specialized literatures used throughout the thesis are scientific sources of The Institute of Education of the Prison Service of The Czech Republic. The most important chapters of this bachelor thesis, named Restorative judiciary and Alternative punishments, react to current necessity to solve the situation of release prisoners. Pastoral work in ICF Prague

The main objective of this thesis is pastoral care in ICF Prague. The aim of this work is to provide reader enough information about pastoral work in general and also within the ICF church. It also introduces specific tools that ICF offers to its attenders. This work is also focusing on believers, it deals with the question if attending Christians have a person that they can turn to with their life problems and when in need. The work is divided into several parts and the first chapter firstly clarifies the meaning of the term "pastoral care" and secondly it talks about the pastoral care in the Gospel and the Bible itself, which is important for evangelical environment where ICF Prague is classified. The second and third chapter covers a brief overview of history of ICF Prague, its vision, style and also the specific projects and tools that ICF uses in order to provide pastoral care to people. The last part of this thesis focuses on the research. The summarization and evaluation of the research that took place in ICF Prague is written in the last chapter.
Marian Kuffa and His Approach to People in Need

This bachelor thesis deals with Marian Kuffa's approach to people in need. The first part of the thesis deals with Marian Kuffa's life, childhood, influence of his family in forming his personality, his later decision to become a priest and the beginning of his social activities in Zakovce, Slovakia. The second part of the thesis analyzes the most common causes of social exclusion, especially from Marian Kuffa's point of view. Further, the author describes life of people in need in common therapeutic communities and pays special attention to everyday life in the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Zakovce, Slovakia and its facilities. The focus is on the specific approach of Marian Kuffa to the resocialization process of the socially excluded people. In the last part, both the common and Kuffa's approaches are analyzed and compared, the pros and cons of both are stated.
