Increasing age of primigravidae in the Czech Republic
Svobodová, Anežka ; Kulhavá, Miluše (advisor) ; Lukášová Jeřábková, Lenka (referee)
Increasing age of primigravidae is discussed topic nowdays. It's a trend that also affects the Czech Republic - The Czech Statistical Office shows that the process of increasing age of primigravidae progresses since 1990 till now and that is why I consider it important to talk about this issue. The main objective of this work is to determine the causes of the increasing age of primigravidae in the Czech Republic. Sub-objectives are: to determine if socioeconomic factors are reasons for delaying childbirth, to determine whether delaying childbirth is the cause of the emancipation of women and whether the decision of delaying childbirth is affected by low knowledge of risks associated with late childbirths (for both mother and child). The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of three parts and each of them is related to one objective. The first part is dedicated to changes during pregnancy and pregnancy of old primigravidae. The second part analyses family policy in the Czech Republic and the third part describes status of women in the Czech Republic. The research part is implemented in the Highlands region and in Prague, these two parts has been compared. As a research method I have chosen quantitative method of anonymous questionnaire. The...

Treatment of client suffering from Crohn's disease
Krejčí, Šárka ; Hejtmánková, Lenka (advisor) ; Lukášová Jeřábková, Lenka (referee)
The topic I chose for my bachelor thesis is the treatment of a client suffering from Crohn's disease. It consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part describes Crohns's disease including its history, occurrence, symptoms, treatment, impact on fertility and new findings connected to its treatment. The empirical part contains qualitative research in the form of a case study. The aim of the bachelor thesis was understanding the individual needs of a patient suffering from Crohns's disease. The case study describes the life of a woman from when the first symptoms were found till the present day. I found that the disease affects not only the physical but also the psycho-social aspect of the patients, which is often forgotten. Key words Crohn's disease, chronic inflammatory diseases, small intestine, large intestine

Jeřábková, Lenka ; Opatrný, Aleš (advisor) ; Křišťan, Alois (referee) ; Beneš, Ladislav (referee)
Strahov Catechists of the 19th century This specific study contributes to knowledge of pastoral and catechetical practice in our country in the 19th century, illustrating it with concrete implementation of these activities in institutions related to the Premonstratensian monastery at Strahov, Prague. The theme is placed in broader context of explanation of development of pastoral theology and catechesis; it is also interpreted in relation to the entire development of the Premonstatensian order with regard to the history of their pastoral activities. These activities at schools at lower and higher levels is conceived in broader context of education in the examined period, both from the theoretic, and the practical point of view; therefore, the work give also a brief characteristics of the system of education and schools, and concentrates also on various aspects of the specific issue of religious education, including these activities at specialized schools. The chapter on catechesis and pastoral care in parishes is dedicated both to homiletic activities of Strahov Premonstratensians, and, particularly, to the issue of preparation for sacraments and pastoral care of specific groups, represented by fraternities. Inhibice lidského rekombinantního CYP2D6 isochinolinovými alkaloidy
Jeřábková, Lenka ; Štaud, František (advisor) ; Pourová, Jana (referee)
The purpose of this work was to screen a set of isoquinoline alkaloids for their inhibitory potency toward CYP450 isoenzyme CYP2D6. Since the human cytochrome P450 plays a pivotal role in a metabolism of both xenobiotics and endogenous substances, studying its interactions is a basic task in early drug development. CYP2D6 is due to its high polymorphism monitored very often. The in vitro method with fluorometric detection was used to determine the inhibitory effect of 20 alkaloids towards the recombinant human CYP2D6. Isoquinoline alkaloids were divided into the groups based on their relative structures. It was determined that 11 out of 20 are potent inhibitors, 3 moderate, 5 weak and one is not inhibitor. In percentage representation it means that 70% of all measured compounds are at least moderate potent inhibitors to CYP2D6 in this assay. They create mainly the members of protoberberine alkaloid group. The structure of these compounds might contribute to the searching of new inhibitors for data-sets for in silico drug metabolism predicting methods.
