A proposal of block production technology for an injection mold

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to search the selected issue, the choice of tool and machinery, design of block production technology, processing of the technological process and production drawing. The first part is a brief introduction to polymeric materials and their distribution. Technologies for plastics processing are also described here, especially with a focus on injection molding technology and the associated injection mold and injection molding machine. In the second part, tool and machinery equipment, selected block material and design of production technology are designed. Part of the thesis is also a production drawing and technological process.

Design of an engraving LED laser

This thesis is focused on the search of unconventional machining methods, especially on the technology of laser beam machining. It deals with the area of laser cutting and engraving and examines the influence of individual technological parameters on the given process. Furthermore, there is proposal of design of hobby LED engraving machine, its supporting structure, HW and other electronic components. The prototype of the device is physically assembled and its functionality is verified in the form of several engraving tests of raster and vector formats of graphic materials, and some several shape cuts are made also. The technical evaluation of the assembled equipment, evaluation of tests performed and cost calculation is part of the work too.

Use of unconventional technologies in the production of a selected component

The biggest challenge during manufacturing copper part with microslit for optical spectrometer by the means of unconventional technologies was to meet specified narrow range of tolerances and reach right angles at the microslit corners. Electrical discharge machining and laser beam machining were two practically performed methos and both successfully met these tolerances. After consultation is focused ion beam also considered as suitable method for this task, while for photochemical machining is impossible to meet those narrow tolerances. Right angles were not achieved by any of tested methods. At laser cutting edges were proven defects (burrs, molten material), while we saw no negative defects on electrical discharge workpiece surface. Even after optimalization of EDM was machining time longer and there is assumed higher other production cost (tool manufacturing for every single workpiece), but still EDM seems to be more advantageous from financial and surface quality aspect. Based on theoretical research and practical manufacturing is recommend to manufacture specified component with microslit by EDM.

Integration of medical information systems

This Bachelor thesis examines ways of integration of various Hospital Information Systems (HIS) in frame of heterogenous interoperable platform. Thanks to that, exchange of information from Electronic Health Record (EHR) between HISes is enabled. A Modern approach to integration of systems should put emphasis on standardization of communication. The solution of communication described in this thesis is based on HL7 standard, which is one of the most perspective standard for transfer medical informations. The bachelor thesis contains a part of integration of cardiological information system AdamekJ into the network of another HISes. Integration of these systems is based on HL7 standard and is being solved in frame of the project 1ET200300413AVR on Department of Medical informatics ICS ASCR.

Internet Educational Atlas Focusing on Soil Arthropods

The main objective of this thesis was to create an educational website aimed at soil arthropods. It can be used primarily by teachers of biology and ecology, lecturers of extracurricular science education or by the students who are interested in this issue. This photographic atlas of soil arthropods consists of my own micro images obtained by the use of light and scanning electron microscope. The micro images are accompanied by text to each group of soil arthropods, which is divided into sections containing information about the systematic classification, anatomy and morphology, biology and importance, eventually representatives of the group. The atlas is accompanied by other materials usable in the classroom, such as didactic test, didactic game and proposals for group work, worksheet, field and laboratory work or educational presentations focused on soil arthropods. Effect inflammations of upper respiratory pathways, and whether taking hormonal contraception or tonsilectomy to the incidence of thyroid gland diseases

The objective of this thesis was to determine whether any causal relationship exists between thyroid gland diseases and frequent and repeated inflammations of upper respiratory pathways, and whether taking hormonal contraception or tonsilectomy undergone in an early age may exert any influence the incidence of thyroid gland diseases. In this study, anonymous answers of 364 patients at the endocrinological outpatient department with various durations of thyreopathy treatment were collected. A questionnaire with open and closed questions was used as the form of the study, and the questionnaire was completed during personal interviews. Common medical division of thyroid gland diseases was respected when processing the results, i.e. division to euthyreosis, inflammation, hypothyreosis, hyperthyreosis, tumour, and surgery in the past. In general population, 17.8 % of persons older than 15 years of age suffer from diseases of upper respiratory pathways. 35.7 % of the questioned patients reported that they repeatedly suffered from diseases of upper respiratory pathways. Solving of Group Conflicts in Kindergarten (from the point of view headmisresses and headmasters of the Central Bohemian Region kindergartens)

This dissertation inquires into the issue of solving group conflicts in kindergartens, presents opinions, quotations and comparison of Czech and foreign authors, derives from both local and foreign sources. In the theoretical part it brings forth findings from the stated area, defines the term "conflict", delineates the basic types of conflicts, deals with group conflicts in the context of the influence of an individual on the inception of a conflict. In the second half of the theoretical part it focuses on the settlement and prevention of conflicts. The research, coming from the goal of the inquiry, is directed in the same spirit. The research part presents the results of the inquiry, describing and analysing the causes and solutions of group conflicts in practice. The evaluation then leads to answering the research questions. The work is designed so the broadest range of headmasters and administrators of kindergartens could make use of it.
