Bartoš, Jan ; Matějček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Král, Luboš (referee)
This diploma thesis identifies thanks a questionnaire investigation, what is awareness of high school students about the issue of plant invasion. In this issue has been suggested and in the practise tested model lesson. The model lesson was taught in 5 classes. The questionnaire investigation was realized in the classes, where this model lesson has not taken place. This questionnaire was divided into two parts. The first part focused on knowledge of invasive plants filled 255 respondents. In the second part questions were connected conservation with the issue of plant invasions. Also there were questions, which was determinate by the effectiveness of the model lesson. 40% of respondents have never heard about the plant invasions. Within the circle of knowledge is the relative frequency of correct answers much smaller. It was found if student's view on solving the situation around invasive plants is affected with approach to environmental ethics, which they profess.
Use of Experience Pedagogy and Theatrical Education in Geography Teaching
Barešová, Lenka ; Matějček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bartoš, Jan (referee)
The main objective of the thesies is to compare a frontal teaching method and teaching by simulation. Two comparable groups of students were taught the same topic by the two methods. The topic was focused on an uneven world development. Following assumptions were set. Simulation is a more attractive teaching form, therefore it can help to raise the motivation of students. Frontal method is capable of transmitting more information. Simulation, however, can have bigger impact on students' values. The impact of simulation has a long-term impact in comparison to frontal teaching. These assumptions were confirmed by qualitative and quantitative methods.

The bachelor thesis called " Environmental friendly forms of housing in the Czech Republic " focuses on the issues of environmentally friendly houses. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the environmentally friendly buildings in general. It explains the basic terms and describes the situation in the Czech Republic as well as contains the assessment of each of the Czech regions and their approach to the environment. Deviatility of roads in network analysis with the use of GIS
Bartoš, Jan ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
The key of presented diploma thesis is to find a way to take shape of roads into account when performing network analysis. Methods of mathematical representation of shape of lines are discussed; the curvature is chose for later use. Then the relation between road's curvature and speed is discussed - the model for setting the speed is suggested. Important part of the thesis is focused on implementation in GIS. Designed model is implemented by Python in the ArcGIS for Desktop. Due to testing on specific examples, it was confirmed, that the taking the shape characteristics into account provides high précising of network analysis.
Sport-hotel Frýdlant
Bartoš, Jan ; Svoboda,, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
In my thesis I will deal with the draft project documentation for sport hotel. This object is located in the quiet southeastern part of Frydlant with city views and easy access to the nearby sports facilities. It is an object of part two storey and a basement. The building is set into the sloping terrain, so the underground floor extends on to the ground. The building is based on foundation walls and footings that are made of reinforced concrete. Load-bearing walls of the underground floors are designed as reinforced concrete. Ceiling structure of the building is made as reinforced concrete beam ceiling and in other structure parts as a crosswise reinforced concrete plate. Perimeter bearing walls and two floors, are designed from the acoustic sand-lime bricks Silk. External walls are warmed by a contact insulation system. To this end the author utilizes several standardized criterions for investment assessment.
System for the support of comparison of algorithms for noise reduction in audiosignal
Bartoš, Jan ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
The main purpose is to create a system for working with audio-signal, which is user-friendly and ready for next expansion. The program is developed in the Qt library of the Linux Ubuntu 7.4 operating system with using of C/C++ language. Another purpose is to demonstrate the functionality of the program on simple channel speech. To this aim there are implemented algorithms of the spectral subtraction and of the spektrogram's tresholding with using of FFT algorithm. The parts of the work are the teoretical part of the GUI implementation and the implementation of denoising methods, a partial description of the program and his structure and instruction manual.
Configuration management for Cisco backbone network
Bartoš, Jan ; Pelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
The main aim of the master thesis was to create an application for backbone network configuration management. The priority of the application was to be effective and easy to take. Program has to be able to communicate with network devices by remote control and to download and upload configuration files. The program has enable also availability verification for remote control. For this purpose the ICMP protocol was used. The remote control is provided by telnet protocol and the protocol TFTP has been chosen for file tranfers providing. The application is a multithreading application based on the Java programming language. The Java graphic library Swing was used for GUI creation. The application supports file versioning, the configuration of the program can be saved as a text file, which can be easy changed by user. The program and its features are described in the second part of this thesis. The first part deals with theoretical facts about the IP networks and remote control of the Cisco backbone network devices.
