Health Education in School Books and Educational Reality at Primary School

Thesis "Health Education in School Books and Educational Reality at Primary School" deals with the realization of Health Education at primary school. Theoretical part of diploma paper results from the content of Health Education in curricular documents, further there is stated up-to-date legislation which regulates this topic. Furthermore the most frequent school books with Health Education are described in this thesis. Practical part of the diploma paper includes the assessment of teachers' attitude on primary schools towards this topic. Thesis evaluates real use of school books by teachers in their effort to achieve the main objectives of Health Education. Further it analyses selected school books of general science considering the health support and protection. In conclusion the results of research work are sumarized in this thesis with the intention to reveal the curent situation in the application of school books and other school materials in the process of realization of Health Education in chosen schools.

Lesson with a form teacher as a specific part of the form teacher work for the lower secondary education in the Czech Republic

V diplomové práci je řešena problematika třídnické hodiny jako specifické náplně práce třídního učitele na 2. stupni základní školy v České republice. Cílem práce je objasnit, jakým způsobem vnímají a přistupují třídní učitelé k třídnické hodině jako ke specifické náplni své práce. Teoretická část se zabývá třídním učitelem, jeho činnostmi a kompetencemi, analyzuje třídu jako sociální skupinu a vymezuje třídnickou hodinu i s jejími specifiky. Popisu přípravy výzkumného šetření a jeho výsledků se věnuje praktická část. Šetření bylo realizováno metodou dotazníku na vybraných základních školách v České republice a respondenti byli třídní učitelé. Zjištění jsou porovnávána s údaji v odborné literatuře a ze získaných dat jsou vyvozovány závěry pro praxi. Abstract The present thesis identifies possibilities to employ practical activities performed in after- school club of Primary practical school as an integration instrument for an absolutely heterogeneous group of children. The theoretical part shows a brief history of education of persons with specific educational needs, in particular of the ones with mental disability. It includes, as well, the education of foreigners' children. I introduce shortly the Frame curricula that serve as the basis for school curriculum of the Primary practical school specifying the key competences to be gained by the pupil during his school attendance. The practical part of the thesis has been aimed to create a project that could help to develop some of key competences which the children should gain during their attendance of the Primary practical school. This Thesis deals with teaching methods in Health Education. To get you trough the problem more easily, it also contains characterization of the most used teaching methods, their classification and selection. Also there is a mention about alternative methods. There are many details about Health Education and it is also included elaboration of this educational specialization. Results of the research (which was specialized to used teaching methods) are in compare with subject matter of health education. Subject matters offers to teachers how to answer the purpose of teaching this new school object. Integration and Involvement of School and Family in Environmental Education

The thesis deals with the analysis of the actual environment education and with the changé of the status at family, school and within the curriculum. The thesis surveys the role of environmental education in families also in company for the implementation of environmental education into the primary school education. Work contains quantitative (exploratory probe) and qualitative (controlled dialogue) methods recognition, as yourself they can mutually families and school help in integration recognize and facility from environmental education. This work contains also unusual method, as is national competition for families at topic environmental education. The thesis contains also annotation of environmental educational program. Environmental educational programs should be of high quality and they should supply the teacher with good instruction and motivation for the realization of environmental education and other cross-disciplinaiy issues at school. The aim of the thesis is to create a strategy for improving cooperation of family and school at realization the quality of the environmental education.

The activity of the prevention methodists in elementary school

This páper considers the activity of the prevention methodists as the coordinators of the preparation and realisation of the programs of the sociál pathological effects prevention at the basic schools. Their activities are watched in the Liberec district, Frýdlant region in concrete, considering its specific needs. The main aim of this work is lo find out the actual situation in the field of sociál pathological effects prevention at the chosen basic schools in the region and considering the realized characteristics of the Frýdlant region to add insufficiently used contacts, materials and sources. That means to create a short file of information for the basic schools in the region covering other, not yet used, possibilities of education of the school methodists, chance of using dotations and grants for the realisation of the concrete projects of sociál pathological effects prevention at the schools. Also to find out and show other contacts, materials and possible cooperations with the professional organizations specialized in this field. The theoretical resource for the concrete research are the complex characteristics of the Frýdlant region, deseribing the social-economical situation, eriminality appearance, present school systém, etc. - these are the determinators of the working environment of the school...

Drama Education Suitable for Use in Health Education in Elementary School

This thesis discovers if there is any possibility to use methods of drama education while supporting the good health education at school. One of the goals of this thesis is to find an agreement in the theme and subject between the subjects of Health education and Drama education. The agreement in these themes is verified by comparing the themes and subjects of RVP ZV, by comparing with information from literature search and also by research investigation applied to the teachers of Drama education. The results of this comparation were the base for the practical part of the thesis which accumulate methods and techniques of Drama education suitable for use in the Health education subject field.
