Electric tricycle
Buchta, M.
The aim of this study was to design and build complete control and information systems using microprocessors ATMEGA644P for electric tricycle. This tricycle was created rebuilt old motorcycle Jawa 50 – Pioneer. Electric tricycle is capable of not only its own motion , but its management and information system is able to evaluate if the batteries are depleted, what the temperature is cooler controller that is open cabinet with batteries or with the regulator . Furthermore, they are controlled by a microprocessor relays that switch eg . Blinkers , cooling on regulátor, etc. All information are displayed on the control panel LCD Display, panel voltmeter and control lights.
Effective usage of telecommunication education environment
Buchta, Marek ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor´s thesis was effective usage of telecommunication‘s educational interface. The main aim of my thesis was to teach software and hardware versions of telecommunication‘s educational environment TIMS from Emona Instruments company. Also the goal of this paper was to design effective usage of educational environment in laboratories in the subject called Access and transport nets. There was a selection of three exercises suitable for these laboratories. These exercises were designed and implemented. Each of these exercises contains extensive theoretical introduction to solve problems, exercise assignment, block diagrams for visual understanding and for insight into measurement and detailed instructions to measurements. After all exercises have been completed exemplary protocols were created. The first exercise carried out was PCM coding and encoding in which students would be introduced with pulse code modulation, its advantages and disadvantages in way of acquiring high-quality broadcast. Second exercise was to focus on the introduction of quadrature amplitude modulation and phase shift keying. Target of the last exercise is to introduce students with binary data transmission via voiceband and factors affecting this transmission.
Efficiency of Wireless Networks from Services View
Buchta, Marek ; Vymazal, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Subject of this thesis was the issue of effectiveness of wireless networks from the perspective of services. Become acquainted with WiFi network standard IEEE 802.11 with protocols and principles of WiFi networks and services. It should be focused on the quality of service QoS. In teoretical part of this thesis are described problems considering wireless networks, layer model and types of nets used in WiFi. Standard IEEE 802.11 is analysed in details including supplements and used packets. Special attention is paid to the quality of service QoS. Next are discussed the principles and application services as VoIP, videoconferencing, video streaming and others in WiFi network. On the basis of obtained knowledge is designed extensive WiFi network with assured supply of services. For modelling and simulation of wireless network is used software development environment Opnet Modeler. Model of wireless network is used to optimize and analyse this wireless communication network. In thesis are also simulated properties of data which are sensitive to delay. In last part of thesis is created a laboratory work, which contains a submission of task, detailed theory, wiring diagram, instructions for elaboration, guidelines for simulation and example of elaboration of task. Work is about comparison of network with used 802.11b and 802.11e standard, and support of quality of service QoS.
Method of Voltage Contrast in ESEM
Buchta, Michal ; Černoch, Pavel (referee) ; Jirák, Josef (advisor)
This graduation thesis deals with the problem of voltage contrast in ESEM. The purpose of this work was to verify influence of used detectors in the dependence on conditions in specimen chamber on the size of voltage contrast. With the conditions in specimen chamber we understand pressure and working conditions of signal detection. We used power transistor as specimen.
Fuel Systems with Pressure Accumulator
Buchta, Martin ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the Common Rail injection system for diesel engines. There is described each component, function principle and history of the system. It deals with currently used systems, theirs application in passenger cars engines and theirs effect on emissions in exhaust gases. It is concluded that the Common Rail injection system is currently the best, which we can use in passenger's cars diesel engines.
Digital Image Analysis of Mitotic Chromosomes
Buchta, M.
The present work describes the cytogenetic from the point of view of image processing. We propose an algorithm which is able to treat every aspect of this analysis such as segmentation and separation of chromosomes. Moreover, our algorithm is tested on images of chromosomes labelled with 2 different methods coming from various free databases.
Systemically Important Banks in the Context of Financial Stability
Buchta, Martin ; Půlpánová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (referee)
A failure of systemically important bank was up to the present time in most cases avoided through providing financial support by government because there were concerns about destroying the financial stability followed by decline in economic activity because of size, interconnectedness and limited substitutability of the failing bank. However, the implicit governmental guarantees for systemically important banks create many distortions in an economy which are desirable to eliminate. Considering restriction of moral hazard, no increase in systemic risk and preservation of social benefits of G-SIBs the parallel implementation of higher capital requirements and recovery and resolution policy seems to be the most effective measure from proposed regulatory measures for systemically important banks. The future benefits and costs of these measures will be dependent in a high degree on the form and way in which the new rules will be incorporated by governments to their national regulatory frameworks.
The Role of International Organizations in a Globalized Economy
Buchta, Martin ; Jiránková, Martina (advisor) ; Nováková, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the roles and functions of international organizations in today's globalized economy. The thesis is focused on the roles and activities of three international economic organizations which are widely seen as the most powerful organizations of global economic governance - the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group and the World Trade Organization. The thesis outlines how well these organizations are currently performing, and suggests how they could be made more effective in managing globalization.
Foreign exchange rate risk management in international trade
Buchta, Martin ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Černá, Iveta (referee)
Diploma thesis is concerned with foreign exchange risk management in terms of international trade. It deals with types of foreign exchange rate risk (transaction exposure, economic exposure, translation exposure) and their influence on business activity. Diploma thesis also focuses on the possibility of future foreign exchange rate's prediction. The main part of the thesis is devoted to various methods of foreign exchange rate risk management. These methods are analysed under two main groups, internal methods and external methods. Under internal methods, following techniques are analysed: netting, matching, leading and lagging, currency diversification, choice of invoicing currency and pricing policy. External methods focus on the use of financial derivatives, specifically currency forwards, currency futures, currency option and currency swaps. Analysis of exchange rate risk management using financial derivatives is supported with illustrative examples.
