TITLE: Physical activities in the leisure time of the middle school students in the Usti Region AUTHOR: Tereza Sojková DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Daniela Nováková ABSTRACT: This thesis investigates the extent of the middle school students pursuing physical activities in the Usti Region. The theoretical part concerns itself with importance of physical activities in human life, particularly in a child's life, and point out to the risks and problems connected to a sedentary lifestyle. The practical part focuses on physical activities of middle school students in chosen parts of the Usti Region. The questionnaire survey in this part of theses detects the extend of physical activities and differences between children living in bigger and smaller towns. Part of this passage is also mapping of current possibilities of physical activities and sports grounds in this region. Finally, there are several recommended changes presented in the paper that would lead to increase in interest of middle school students in physical activities, namely lowering prices of extracurricular physical activities and increase in amount of school physical activities. Child suffering from the ADHD syndrome in the surveyed kindergarten.

Aim: The main aim of the thesis has been to find out the benefit of the integration for a child suffering from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in a setting of the specific kindregarten. The partial aim has been to trace up the potential changes in the boy's behaviour evoked by his attendance of the kindergarten and which working technique has influenced it the most. Methodics: In order to have all the exploratory questions answered in a proffesional way, the personal structured dialogue was held between the mother of the surveyed boy and the boy's kindergarten teacher Output: The output of the survey clarified that Adam has made a great progress in many fields, as stated by the mother and either by the kindergarten teacher. The most noticeable improvement has occured in Adam's concentration which was not good at the beginning of his kindergarten attendance, his apprehension to the needs of others has become really significant in comparison with the past in which he was concerned mainly about himself. Another aspect of Adam's possitive development regarding the kindergarten attendance is the ability to control his behaviour - "he tries to do his best", Adam has also started to follow the rules of coexistence significantly which he refused to accept at the beginning. Leisure and reereational activities for children's in an orphanage Ledce

This bachelor thesis addresses the topic of leisure time and leisure activities of children living in the Children's Home in Ledce. The theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on the function and definition of free time and main principles of free-time education. It also includes a chapter on protective and institutional education and its characteristics. Introducing the history and characteristics of the children's home itself, the practical part also concentrates on the lives of the children living in it, the work of the educators, and it also presents a summary of how free time and leisure activities are handled by the children. Research findings that aim to make a survey on children's satisfaction with leisure opportunities and the portfolio of special interest classes represent the main part of the last chapter. The goal here is to either disprove or confirm the hypothesis set out.
