Lettering for 3D plotter
Polák, Jaromir ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the control of the 3 axes manipulator. The manipulator is represented as a plotter, to enable the user to write all of the Czech alphabet. The letters can change the font size, the rotation around the axis and move. The work also includes security and control tasks. An example of one letter shows programming features of the manipulator.

Maslák, Petr ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with measuring device USB 6008. This thesis describes at the beginning properties of measuring device like count of channel, speed, accuraccy. Next chapter concerns with programming environment like MS Visual C++, CVI and LabView. The most suitable programming environment was chosen Labview. The result of this thesis is programm that can read and write analog samples, display signals in Chart, simulate first order dynamic system.
Analog display for industrial automation
Zach, Roman ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis presents the design and construction of analog display for industrial automation. Hardware part describes the involvement of individual blocks of analog display for industrial automation. Hardware part deals with methods of communication between integrated circuit devices. Software section explains the function of the program.
Graphical LCD display
Kulka, Branislav ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis "Graphical LCD Display" is focused on designing graphical diplaying unit for displaying industrial data, which is equipped with RS232/RS485 interface and digital inputs and outputs. Device is equipped with I51 series microcontroller. In this work MODBUS protocol is discussed and implemented. Data can be dispayed on circle scale or in form of bargraph indicators.
Laboratory model of an machine for printed wiring
Posekaný, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
Production of printed circuit boards using three-axis CNC milling machine is suitable for small batch production. Milling machine consists of three axes, which are controlled by stepper motors. Controlled by a PC connected to the control electronics to communicate over the serial line. Input data is exported from the Eagle design software. The core of the control unit´s processor family, the AVR ATmega16, motor drivers for the ATmega8. Transfer between PC and the device is implemented using a virtual person through USB.
Optimal Control Strategies for Building Energy Consumption
Kaczmarczyk, Václav ; Horák, Bohumil (referee) ; Janeček, Eduard (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
This thesis discusses the operational coordination of electrical appliances and devices in a smart home. At present, the diminishing volume of fossil fuels and the increasing pressure to use renewable sources of energy necessitate the integration of such volatile sources into electrical grids. This process, however, results in higher energy costs, and the consumers are thus more willing to change their behaviour to either reduce the expenses or maintain them at a reasonable level. One of the relatively few customer-oriented options to optimise energy costs consists in the demand – response principle, which utilises external information to minimise energy consumption during high price periods. Assuming the constantly changing conditions in electrical grids, and thus also the varying demands, it is vital to provide for automatic optimisation excluding the need of user intervention. The thesis presents a method which, after being implemented into the control member, will facilitate the optimal use of appliances and devices within a smart home. As the behaviour considered optimal from the perspective of demand - response is often inconsistent with the consumer‘s requirements for comfortable use of the appliances, the proposed technique offers a compromise through enabling the consumer to select the appropriate strategy. Five universal optimisation models are designed within the thesis; these models facilitate description of common home appliances and local electricity sources. The core of the method lies in formulating and optimising a mixed integer quadratic problem (MIQP). The optimisation task yields an operational schedule for the individual appliances, and this scheme considers the energy costs, the working cycle of the appliance, the user’s demands, the system restrictions and/or other input data. Furthermore, the author extends the above-discussed general technique, enabling it to adopt robust behaviour. The method then secures the preset strategy even during a marked change of the input conditions, and its robustness is a viable precondition for the overall applicability of the technique in the real control member.
S-BUS I/O modul as a periphery for PLC Saia
Vaško, Jiří ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor’s thesis is a design of I/O module with digital inputs and digital relay outputs. This module is supposed to communicate with SAIA PCD controllers via SAIA S-Bus protocol. The primary purpose of the module is using as a component of intelligent building control system. The former part of the thesis contains S-Bus characteristics. The next passages are focused on a schematic design and a description of the implemented code in the microcontroller.
Hardware and software of a smart home appliance
Blaha, Vít ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
Nowadays, the interest in smart appliances, which enable consumption reduction or consumption shifting approach, grows up. Such appliances can react to actual situation in the distributional network. From the energy distributor point of view, the activity of these appliances brings improvement of stability in the distribution network, while for the end customer there is possibility of the saving money. This thesis describes a transformation of standard fridge to smart fridge controlled by microcomputer Raspberry Pi. The smart fridge can communicate with supervisor system and according to its instructions change its behavior (temperature set point). The appliance can be manually controlled by a group of buttons, while its state can be visualized on the alphanumeric display. Last but not least way to control the appliance is through a web interface. The thesis also describes design of printed circuit board (PCB), which is designed for connection of all necessary sensors and actuators to Raspberry Pi. Software equipment is designed in the C++ program language.
GSM monitoring system for elderly poeple
Ďurík, Maroš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The work deals with design of system for monitoring elderly people. The final product of this thesis will be used to ensure protection of old person´s health. The device will also remind water regime, taking of medicine, measure gas concentration and it will make an emergency call or send an emergency SMS. It will inform an old person about time and date and it will also be working in case of power fail.
