Kashmir: the Last Twenty Years: Moving towards the Future

The last twenty years have characterized the difficult relationship India and Pakistan have shared since Independence. It is almost impossible to separate Kashmir from this relationship. This period from 1987 to the present has influenced and affected impacted the region then every before, insurgency, violence, terrorism, human rights abuses, economic stagnation, war and global events like the collapse of the Soviet Union and 9/11 have all had an effect in South Asia. While briefly covering history, geo-politics and past rhetoric till 1987, this thesis focuses on the major events that have occurred in Kashmir in the last twenty years and the underlying Indian and Pakistani strategies, which have influenced these events. Consequently the thesis analyses the implications of these events today, and what they portend as we move towards the future. It also pays due attention to changes in the world order, that have affected Kashmir: the significance of the NATO led War on terror, in the light of the rise of Islamic fundamentalism cannot be overstated, and the constant changes in the dynamics of the US - India- Pakistan relationship. The last few years may have seen a reduction in the insurgency, along with overtures made by both countries - CBM's and official peace talks, however a solution has remained elusive....

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of real estate market restaurant premises in center of Brno. The aim is to identify and assess the factors that affect the purchase price or rent. Evaluation will be based on the survey and created a database.

The theme of bachelor´s thesis is a family house for family of four in Měřín. Object is designed as a two-floor, partial basement, L-shaped, roof above the second deck is a saddle. In the basement there is a garage for one car, utility room a store room. On the ground floor there is a vestibule, cloackroom, wc, utility room, hall, stairs, kitchen, dining room, living room. In the living room there is free entry into the terrace. In the second floor is bedroom, two bedrooms for children, workroom, two bathrooms, dressing room, corridor The vertical brickwork is formed by concrete blocks LIVETHERM SIP-NC 400X300X198 mm in a basement. The vertical brickwork is formed by blocks POROTHERM 44 PROFI DRYFIX 248X440X238 mm in ground floor a second floor. The horizontal structure is made up of POROTHERM girder Pot and MIAKO. Roofing is designed concrete KM- BETA.

The context of first use of illegal drug
SMEJKALOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis deals with the context of using illegal drugs, especially during pubescence, adolescence and early adulthood, and focuses on the circumstances of first use of particular illegal drugs. The theoretical part defines an issue of gaining experiences with drugs and its overuse in context of socially pathological phenomenon and in context of psychopathology, mentions various personal and external motivation factors leading to the decision to use a psychoactive substance. In this part, there are described psychoactive effects of frequently abused drugs as well as risk impacts of usage drugs on consumer. This thesis also provides peripheral outline of the present situation in the matter of using drugs in Czech Republic. It also contains reflections about prevention possibilities. The empirical part includes a qualitative research, concerned to a wider context of first experiences with various illegal drugs, to description of these events and their consequences. The research questions are also stated in this part. The essential method, used in this research, is a semi-structured interview, realized with three respondents. The results of research are specified in particular case studies, containing some sequences of the interviews. The answers to research questions come after.
Pravidla pro uplatnění nároku na odpočet DPH v Evropském společenství

Nárok na odpočet daně z přidané hodnoty je jedním z pilířů zajišťujících neutralitu daně z přidané hodnoty. Proto je harmonizace pravidel pro uplatnění nároku na odpočet daně v rámci Evropského společenství nezbytná. Cílem práce je zhodnotit míru harmonizace pravidel pro uplatnění nároku na odpočet daně ve vybraných zemích Evropského společenství s evropskými pravidly a také porovnat rozdíly v uplatňování nároku na odpočet daně mezi těmito vybranými státy. Oblastmi, na které je tato práce zaměřena, jsou základní pravidla pro odpočet daně včetně souvisejících administrativních požadavků a následné korekce nároku na odpočet daně ve vybraných členských státech Evropského společenství. Těmito státy jsou Česká republika, Slovensko, Estonsko, Německo a Velká Británie.
