The specifics of motivation in construction company
Smejkal, Marek ; Doležel, Pavel (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
The dissertation‘s thesis, called „The Specifics of Motivation in Construction Company“, deals with problems connected with motivation, company’s culture and leading of employees in construction companies. The theoretical part includes basic information about motivation and its theories and practise. The practical part handles with a present situation in two construction companies. Based on previous hypothesis and questionnaire, which was prepared by me, new processes were suggested. These new suggestions use for a future improvement in motivation and company’s culture.

The aim of the contract was to capture reproducing asp by electrofishing and tag fish individually using individual marking technique (PIT-tags). Estimate of asp reproductive population in the Švihov Reservoir was performed on the basis of mark-recapture methods. Furthermore, the length and weight increments were computed for recaptured asp individuals. Tagged individuals were monitored using passive telemetry systems on the tributary of Švihov Reservoir.
Ecology of top fish predators, European catfish and asp, with consequences to fish communities
ŠMEJKAL, Marek
The dissertation thesis focuses on predator ecology in artificial water bodies. Paper I deals with the importance of chemical cues for predator-prey interactions in an aquatic environment. Here, I demonstrate that the ability to detect chemical cues represents a survival benefit for prey species. Paper II points out gillnet methodological bias, which may have subsequent repercussions in field evaluation of a predator's presence and assessment of larger fish abundance in general. Papers III and IV focus on asp Leuciscus aspius spawning grounds. In Paper III, I demonstrate how males maximize their spawning chances by early arrival and in Paper IV, I evaluate the predation pressure of asp prey, Alburnus alburnus, directed on asp eggs.
Transportation rules: development and significance of the regulation of relations in transportation contracts
Šmejkal, Marek ; Frinta, Ondřej (advisor) ; Thöndel, Alexandr (referee)
Resumé This thesis is focused on legal acts which are called carriage acts or transportation rules. Carriage acts are legal acts containing regulations of persons, luggage, objects and parcels transportation in all kind of types of domestic transportation. This text is divided into three parts which first is focused on historical development of carriage acts in our region, second part is focused on research of current forced carriage acts and third part is focused on comparison Czech and German carriage acts. First part of this text where historical development of carriage acts is examined, contains complete evolution and development of carriage acts from the very first one to the present day. The strongest emphasis is placed on railways carriage acts for their biggest importance of this kind of transportation in historical overview. In second part of this thesis current forced carriage acts are set in legal system and analyzed. In particular it is the Ordinance of Secretary of transportation no. 175/2000, Carriage act for public railway and road passenger transportation and Ordinance of government no. 1/2000, Carriage act for public railway cargo transportation. Last part of this thesis examine legal comparison of one of abovementioned carriage act (Ordinance of Secretary of transportation no. 175/2000,...
Belt conveyor for assembly line
Smejkal, Marek ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of belt conveyors, especially in the use for material handling. The aim of this work is to calculate and design the belt conveyor for the assembly line according to specific parameters. The design was done according to ČSN ISO 5048 standard. The main benefit of this work is the design of the device according to the specification.
The importance of various habitats for fish in reservoirs
Šmejkal, Marek ; Vašek, Mojmír (referee) ; Prchalová, Marie (advisor)
Fish distribution in reservoirs is not homogeneous. Fish usually occur in upper parts of reservoirs on the longitudinal axis, where is also the greatest concentration of nutrients. Fish abundance and biomass as well as the trophy are declining towards the dam part. On the vertical axis, most fish occur above the thermocline, where temperature and concentration of dissolved oxygen reach the highest values. Fish community is changing also in time. Shortly after impoundment, the riverine species are dominating the community and later, generalist species prevail. Generally, we can distinguish pelagic and bentic habitats within the reservoir. There are species in reservoirs that occur almost strictly in pelagic habitat like asp and bleak and benthic species like ruffe and perch. Most species occur in both types of habitats (bream, roach, pikeperch, European catfish, white bream). Migrations between habitats occur on daily and on seasonal basis. On daily basis, we distinguish diel horizontal migration, in which fish shift between pelagic and benthic habitats. Diel vertical migration, when fish change depths, is not so significant in Czech reservoirs. Motivations for these diel migrations are food aviability, predation pressure and water temperature. Seasonal migrations comprise spawning migrations and winter...
Ichthyological surveys of the Nýrsko and Karhov reservoirs and investigations of abundance, age composition and spawning dynamics of asp population in the Želivka Reservoir in 2015.

The species composition and the relative abundance and biomass of fish communities in the Nýrsko and Karhov reservoirs were evaluated by means of standardised multimesh gillnets. The spawning stock of asp in the Želivka Reservoir was individually marked using PIT tags and the density and behaviour of tagged fish at the main spawning grounds were examined through the whole spawning season. The total number of reproducing individuals in the asp population was estimated. The sex-specific length and weight growth rates of adult asp in the Želivka Reservoir were also calculated. \n\n
The report on the asp and spined loach populations’ status in SCI – valley reservoirs.
Blabolil, Petr ; Šmejkal, Marek ; Bartoň, Daniel ; Baran, Roman ; Draštík, Vladislav ; Jůza, Tomáš ; Kočvara, Luboš ; Koliada, Ievgen ; Kolařík, T. ; Matějíčková, Ivana ; Prachař, Zdeněk ; Sajdlová, Zuzana ; Soukalová, Kateřina ; Vebrová, Lucie ; Vejřík, Lukáš ; Kubečka, Jan
The aim of the ichthyological survey was to assess the status of reproductively active population of asp (Leuciscus aspius) in the SCI (site of community importance) Želivka (Švihov Reservoir) and spined loach (Cobitis elongatoides) in the SCI Nová Říše (Nová Říše Reservoir).
Time management and techniques of its use in construction company
Smejkal, Marek ; Borovička, Jiří (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
The thesis deals and discusses the awareness and application of Time Management and its techniques used in the construction and building companies. The theoretical part is based on the literature which presents and explains all the concepts of time management techniques, its history and problems with planning time in construction field. The practical part of thesis is based on the data carried out from the questionnaire and controlled interviews with practitioners and it was evaluated on the basis of predetermined hypotheses.
Identification and assessment of errors in the switchboards assembly line and their prevention
Smejkal, Marek ; Tabas, Marek (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
Project developed within the Master's degree study proposes the study focused to identify and assessment of errors on the modules switchboards assembly line, because manufacturing companies are under heavy pressure to reduce production costs. The solution is optimization the productions processes and increasing their productivity.
