System for Exhausting of Combustion Gases over the Sintering Grate
Kratochvílová, Silvie ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with solution for waste gases exhaustion system above the sinter grate. The first part is dedicated to the general treatise about sinter grate, its operations and individual modifications. Another part looks into issues covering placing of the cover above the sinter grate. Proposal of optimal solution of the waste gases exhaustion system is done in last part, where are described reasons, which lead to its choice.
Single-purpose machine for mounting of thermostat
Hajda, Jan ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a single-purpose machine for completion the thermostat into combustion engine of a vehicle. First of all, it is necessary to design a conceptual solution that is able to lay down the thermostat in the shortest possible time, will not conflict with construction restrictions, the installation dimensions, and last but not least, the machine will be ergonomic and user-friendly. The subsequently selected variant will be designed and based on the drawing documentation will be produced a single-purpose machine, which will operate in three-shift work.
Forgings in the engineering drawing
Krulich, Hynek ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with an overview study of technical documentation of forgings. It includes history, characteristics, basic division and machines used in forging. Next part focuses on their creation by the die method. Final part is discussion which summarises an examlpe of these method.
Condition monitoring of thrust ball bearings using continuous AE
Chlada, Milan ; Nohal, L. ; Převorovský, Zdeněk
Fast and reliable analysis of continuous AE recorded during endurance tests on flat washer parts reliably simulating critical rolling contact fatigue of the full-scale bearings is presented in the paper. Two channels of continuous AE signal were partially recorded within whole specimen lifetime tests and compared with other experimental parameters as vibration rate or temperature. As an alternative to classical spectrogram analysis, we proposed to use histograms of time intervals between threshold amplitudes crossings in various frequency bands represented by the wavelet decomposition. Results obtained on long-time records are discussed, illustrating advantages of proposed AE signal processing, which can be done in real time to observe the processes before the onset of the final damage on the surface of the specimen more precisely than vibrodiagnostics.
Design the stand for laboratory testing of pneumobil acceleration
Chlud, Martin ; Nohál, Libor ; Koutný, Daniel
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with solution about pneumobile laboratory testing. It focuses especially on acceleration. There is suggested concept of flywheel based on calculations. The concept simulates inertia of pneumobil.
Construction of molds for rubber molding
Bátrla, Martin ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis contains the general body of knowledge related to theory of injection molds for rubber molding. There is also described a designing procedure of mold for rubber cuff which will be used as a protection against the dust and other impurities. The output is a 3D model of injection mold made in SolidWorks 2015 and 2D documentation of chosen parts.
Design of gearing between transmission and alternator for drive of the superstructure of the heavy truck
Charouz, Ondřej ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Košťál, David (advisor)
This Bachelor´s Thesis presents an engineering design of gearing between transmis-sion and alternator for drive of the superstructure of the heavy truck. The gear ratio from engine to the output of transmission is 0,432 for normal constant meshing or 0,538 for reduced constant meshing. The performance of truck is 270 kW at 1800 rpm and torque 1850 N.m at 1000 +200 rpm. The thesis is focused on engineering design of location change of dynamo and not only to reduce the possibility of collisions between the chassis and the V-belt but also to make the whole construction simpler.
Design of steel foot guideway for vulcanizing press
Žáček, Jan ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor‘s thesis is focused in design of guideway construction for automatic transfer of steel foot into the station of vulcanizing press. The theoretical part describes historical milestones of making footwear, including machinery, with a focus on vulcanization proces. The design part contains different alternative solutions which meet the conditions specified by the manufacturer of this shoemaking machine for which is the guideway designed. Subsequently is chosen the most appropriate solution that consists of a system of pulleys, toothed belt and line formed by ball transfer units.

Correlation of AE Signal Changes to Rolling Contact Damage Propagation
Nohál, Libor ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Hájek, Karel (referee) ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
This PhD thesis deals with the experimental study of more precise rolling contact fatigue damage detection using acoustic emission method. A series of experiments was carried out on two representatives bearing steels and the analysis of sensitivity for the presence of contact damage was performed on selected parameters of acoustic emission. The extent of damage was classified into four classes and signal parameters the most characterizing the development of damage were correlated with the extent of damage. It was also verified the influence of lubricants on acoustic emission signals. The results have an impact on the implementation of more precise rolling contact fatigue tests and evaluation of parameters of acoustic emission signal. On the basis of experiments was established methodology for more precise RCF testing method using acoustic emission on test-rig AXMAT II.
