Introduction to building foundations in difficult foundation conditions where it is necessary to replace the shallow foundations by deep foundations. The reason is small bearing capacity or large compressibility of soil. I also focuses on solving a practical example of a specific type of deep foundations, followed by comparing the result with the calculation program GEO5.

Modem -repeater for narrow band technology of PLC

This semestral thesis focuses on the circuit design of the repeater for PLC communication in order to achieve greater distance in communication. It can also serve as a bridge for a separate modem device power grid. In this work we discuss the involvement of individual assembly parts repeater and proposed method of connection.

Evaluation of the Qualitative Benefits of the Development Project co-financed by the EU

The first part of my work focuses on the theoretical description of EU regional policy, its evolution and the description and the objectives of the different programming periods. In this part of the work is also described which EU funds are being used for co-financing of different goals. Furthermore I define all operational programs which can be used to draw funds to provide grants. These information are necessarry to choose the right operational program to use. For the particular project co-financed from the European Union, I present an economic analysis of the project and a questionnaire survey which I use to do a qualitative assessment of the project and its help for the development of the region.

The topic of the master’s thesis is the statically compliant and economical design of the ensuring of foundation pit for building Carla Brno. The calculation part will be solved through program GEO5. The part of this thesis is also to describe the technological process of implementing elements and the relevant project documentation.

Automatic detection of fake-news on Slovak texts

Fake news is a problem in recent years. This study focuses on detecting fake news written in the Slovak language using text classification methods. It is unique because it is the first to conduct such a comprehensive set of experiments on Slovak. During the study, a balanced dataset was created, and over 80 experiments were conducted to find the optimal classifier for the problem. Pre-trained transformer-based language models, including BERT, mBERT, RoBERTA, XLM-RoBERTa, and SlovakBERT, were used in the initial step of the study, and their performance was compared against other machine learning methods using standard metrics. The models were fine-tuned with LIAR and COVID19 FN, English-language datasets, to test the impact of fake news topics and language transfer properties. SlovakBERT combined with training exclusively on Slovak datasets achieved the best results with an (acc = 0.9610). This study can contribute to the development of tools to automatically detect fake news in Slovak, aiding in the fight against the spread of false information. 1

Employee benefits of pedagogical staff of selected schools

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the provision of employee benefits to teaching staff and the use of this area as a human resource management tool for school management. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes knowledge about the issue from the professional literature, defines basic terms and serves as a basis for the following practical part. The empirical part describes the method of setting the goals of the thesis, i.e. describing the use of providing benefits as a human resource management tool from the point of view of the management of selected schools, the methodology of the research and presents the results of the research, including their interpretation and discussion. Qualitative research was carried out at three selected secondary schools in Prague, using semi-structured interviews with school principals and a subsequent questionnaire among the pedagogical staff of the given schools. The result of the research is an answer to the research questions, i.e. how the management of selected schools uses employee benefits as a human resources management tool, what benefits are offered to the teachers at selected schools and which benefits are the most popular among teachers at selected schools. The electromobile charging standards overview

In this bachelor´s thesis is performed literary research on the topic of charging standards in the area of electric vehicle charging. The work presents the historical standards appearing at the beginning of the development of electric vehicles and their subsequent development. The main part of bachelor´s thesis is the division of charging standards into categories according to the IEC 62196 standard, the division according to the method of charging and the specialized standardized connectors and sockets used. The principle of communication and required hardware during AC charging and DC charging is also described.

Bachelor thesis deals with a design of wooden bridge over the river Litava. The theoretical part consists of a survey of implemented construction of bridges and summary of used connections of wooden elements and options of support bridge construction is included. In this part is also recommendation for structural protection for wooden elements. In the practical part is included the design of the bridge with simplified static analysis. The design documentation is included.
