Waste management in selected city
MRÁZEK, Michal
The thesis is focused on the waste management in the town of Tábor. The main aim is to determine the inhabitant's satisfaction with collecting waste, identify main problems and give suggestions to improve the current situation. The theoretical part focuses on legislation and basic concepts of waste management. The practical part analyses the quantities of each type of waste, that were produced in Tábor in 2015. There are determined costs and revenues associated with waste management too. At the end of the thesis is made a research about inhabitant's satisfaction with waste management in the town of Tábor. There are given some suggestions, which help to improve current situation there.
Device equipement of the paragliding pilot
Mrázek, Martin ; Dvorský, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Fiala, Miloš (referee)
Name of thesis Flight equipment and its importance in efficiency categories of paragliding Abstract: The goals The goal of this thesis is to find out appropriate instruments and the dependence of their using on the performance category of pilot. Practical contribution of this thesis will be find out the most frequent usage of the instruments between pilots and how important they are for pilots. Methods The thesis is compiled in the form of quantitative research. For the collection of data we have chosen questionnaries, which were situated in a paragliding web. Results Detected facts represent that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, for who instruments are important, is increased. The next fact represent, that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, who have and use instruments, is increased. The most important instrument for all efficiency categories is variometr and then GPS. Key words Paragliding, instruments, efficiency category, importance.
Claim for Truth and the Challenge of Religious Pluralism: State of Discussion in Present-day Christianity
Mrázek, Miloš ; Hošek, Pavel (advisor) ; Štampach, Ivan (referee) ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis dicusses different responses to the challenge of religious pluralism in Christianity. It focuses on the question of how the present-day Christians respond to this challenge, how they relate to the traditional claim of the unique truth of Divine revelation in Christian teaching, and how they understand the concept of truth itself in this context. The text thus maps different trends and movements in current Christianity and introduces problems concerning the definition of the concept of religious pluralism in religious studies and the issues of the current philosophical discussion on the nature of truth - both in general and in religious discourse in particular. Business aspects of healthcare waste
Mrázek, Martin ; Křížová, Eva (advisor)
Thesis "The market in health care - aspects of business management 'I chose to the basis of its interest in the health economy. waste in health are a big problem. I would like in this thesis work focused on the possibility of disposal of infectious waste by new technologies. The amount of waste continues to grow and the future will certainly be very important to seek more efficient and environmentally friendly use of these materials will also need to takemore more sensitive to the environment.
An empirical estimate of the pre-crisis Taylor rule of the Fed using real-time data
Mrázek, Martin ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Kadeřábková, Božena (referee)
This thesis analyses the monetary policy of the Fed in the period before the financial and economic crisis 2007. The aim of this analysis is to investigate whether the monetary policy significantly deviated from the preceding one which, according to John Taylor, adhered to the Taylor rule. This analysis is performed using both revised and real-time data. I compare the monetary policy with various specifications of the Taylor rule. I also estimate a forward-looking Taylor rule. The results confirm the deviation from the Taylor rule. However, deviations were usual in the whole sample period. Estimated models do not indicate that the monetary policy before the crisis was different from the rest of the analyzed period.
Explanation of the sloshing motion in a tank, for a moving tank, for a fixed tank
Mrázek, Michal ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with mathematical model of sloshing in a tank. Laplace's equation is developed. Boundary conditions for a still rectangular container and for a container under sinusoidal translation are established. Expressions for the free surface elevation and natural frequencies in oscillating tank are determined. Baffles are suggested as a method to minimize the free surface elevation. In the final part, analytical model is compared with numerical solution with overall good agreement.
BIOMECHANICAL STUDY OF EXTERNAL FIXATORS APPLIED TO TIBIA
Mrázek, Michal ; Horyl, Petr (referee) ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
External fixators are used in a treatment of complicated fractures and their properties have a crucial impact on treatment quality. Therefore, this thesis is concerned with a biomechanical study of a bone (tibia) with applied external fixators via strain-stress analysis and their comparison with a state of tibia without applied fixator (physiological state). After creating the volume models of geometry of tibia and seven variants of external axial fixators, the corresponding finite element method (FEM) models are created. The analysis of tibia without applied fixator and tibia with all studied fixators is made for three states of load which correspond to characteristic load states during the first stage of treatment. The strain-stress analysis is made using finite element method. Furthermore, the methods of displacement and rotation evaluation during loading are proposed. One can conclude from the results of the strain-stress analysis how the different variants of fixators prevent the displacement and rotation of the bone during the different load states and the comparisons with the physiological state of bone are made. Bone tissue loading is determined from the distribution and the values of the first and the third principal stresses. Finally, comparing the results of all variants the influence of the fixator length, the gap between the fixation elements near the fracture, the number and the setting of the fixation elements on the fixation properties is analysed.
