Work-life balance in schools

This thesis deals with the theme of personal and working life balance of school employees. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part covers the topic from theoretical point of view dealing with an importace of aligning of individual's life, principles and possibilities of implementation into HR policies of the organization. It also describes potential balancing measures for their personal and professional life. In more detail are described flexible working arrangements as the most common form of balancing. Mentioned situation here is balancing in the Czech Republic, especially in education. The second, practical part consists of an empirical study, which was based on research using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the results of questionnaires completed by senior teaching staff. At the end of the survey data were compared with the main research question and subsequently evaluated. The Future of Leisure Time Centres in Decin

This Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of extracurricular education in Decin. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the offer ot extracurricular activities in leisrue time centres and basic schools. The partial goal of the thesis is to find out whether the conditions for providing extracurricular education in leisure time centres and basic schools can influence the future of leisure time centres. The theoretical part is based on literature, laws, regulations and other available resources. The research part deals with the Offer and the conditions for the implementation of leisure assets. The population of respondents among children and parents. Selected sample comes from a group of people participating in pet education for children and youth in educational institutions in Decin. Contribution of this thesis is to understand what influences the choice of leisure activities. How important the strategic planning is and the use of SWOT analysis in working on the planning. Reminding the importance of marketing activities to promote leisure time centres.

Lukáš Smutný DEPARTMENT: Education Management Centre SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Jindřich Kitzberger ABSTRACT: Bachelor thesis on The Level of Legal Knowing of Managers at School and at Educational Institutions is concerning with knowledge level of legal knowing of headmasters of school and educational institutions as managers in education, analyzes, evaluates and summarizes certain basis as "legal standard of managers". The theoretical part summarizes basic teoretical information, from which proceeds the practical part of thesis, its target results in the researched issues of two basic hypothesis if small primary schools are comparable with level of legal mind of their managers to bigger schools and after if level of legal mind of school managers is quantitative reflection of the number of completed educational courses in legislation within the system of next education for pedagogical staff. The practical part represents results from questionnaire survey, research, anonymous tests with the form of closed questions focusing on the aplication of legislation. The theoretical part summarizes knowlwedge of science literacy dealing with coaching method, management of work performance in firms and it informs about the currant status of these activities in school management. Crisis management in education

My diploma thesis deals with crisis management, which is a distinctive field of predictive project management, and of its specific application in the field of education. The aim of the thesis is to define internal threats, specify and analyse risks arising from them, and to describe solution processes with the help of process charts with a model risk nut for teachers from the HSE point of view. The thesis also includes complex overview of legislation which can help to eliminate crisis situations arising from internal threats. In the research part the thesis deals with the occurrence and frequency mapping of possible internal threats and assesses the readiness of school managements to prevent and solve crisis situations. This thesis deals with the beginning phase of career manager for organization non- formal education. The work examines the process that precedes the onset school manager to executive positions primarily in terms of motivation, expectations and subsequent reality. It describes the initial phase of his work in a new role in life from the perspective of the management of school facilities and other activities associated with this process . The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . It also describes how to correspond to the expectations of the individual manager of educational facilities with a daily reality in the context of changing conditions providing non-formal education, based on education legislation and the overall development of society in the approach to the use of leisure time.
