Parents reaction to the birth of a child with disability

Master thesis titled Parents' reaction to a birth of a child with a disability deals with the process of coping with a birth of a disabled child and strategies that can help the family. In the first chapter, the function of a family and roles of parents in comparison with families with disabled children were defined. Reactions of parents when a disabled child is born in comparison with reactions of other social groups is discussed in second chapter. Third chapter focuses on factors which can help the parents to cope with the aforementioned situation. The last fourth chapter then depicts five families that shared their individual stories. The thesis also describes specific phases of dealing with difficult life situations including children born with disabilities. The thesis aims to analyse how parents reacted to birth of disabled child and which factors helped them to accept this reality. A research method in the form of an interview has been used. A confirmation of the hypothesis and thus achieving the thesis goal has been achieved be means of evaluation of answers from five respondents. Legal aspects of appellation of quality, origin and tradition of groceries in the Czech Republic and in other EU countries

in English This thesis creates a complex overview of quality marks used on food in the Czech food market both strictly Czech and originated in the EU legislation as well as decribes the procedure of their creation, legal forms of use and control system. It discusses their legal basis in international law, European law and Czech law and their legal aspects mainly in industrial property law and food and agriculture law. It then compares and contrasts the legal base with the Austrian legislation and analyzes the differences and simmilarities in these two countries and also evaluates its social context. The aim of this thesis is also to clarify the term 'quality'as understood by each of the quality marks and hence on to devide these marks into different categories.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to translate the article El retorno del rey: Aragorn y su viaje heroico (The return of the king: Aragorn and his heroic journey). Author of the article mentioned is Nazira Álvarez Espinoza. The translation was done from Spanish to Czech. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts: translation of the selected text and commentary of the translation. The first part of the commentary includes a fictional translation commission and external and internal text factors. The second part of the commentary concerns selected translation issues, which occured during the translation, their solutions and typology of translation shifts. Design of Wheelchair for Disabled Dog

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of wheelchair for disabled dog. The main goal is to design functional and durable device with attractive appearance that will make life easier for canine patients and their owners in difficult life situations. The thesis is based on survey of existing products and on study of current state of knowledge concerning needs of canine patients and their parameters. It is veterinary product that can be used in rehabilitation centers for animals and by owners of handicapped dogs.

Effect of SR-like proteins in maturation and transfer of mRNA to the cytoplasm

Metazoan SR proteins is a group of proteins involved in splicing. They are RNA-biding proteins characterized by the presence of serine and arginine-rich domain. The yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, encodes genes for proteins that are similar in amino acid composition and structure to the group of SR proteins and are therefore called SR-like proteins. There are three proteins with RS domain in yeast: Npl3, Gbp2 and Hrb1. These proteins have been shown to have many functions, including, in addition to splicing, quality control of spliced mRNAs and their export from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This Bachelor's thesis will deal with these three yeast proteins and their role in splicing, export and degradation.

Prevention and social services to solve homelessness of young people in the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of homelessness among the young people. The rates of people in the age 18-26 who are endangered by social exclusion are steadily rising in the Czech Republic. The most vulnerable are those from dysfunctional homes as well as those lacking their families entirely. Those individuals tend to be raised in institutional care usually lacking in role models and have little to no financial and social resources at their disposal. Social exclusion always originates from variety of different problems that need to be taken care of before they become too severe. That is why I decided to identify the characteristics of this group of people and specify the appropriate methods of cooperation. I define the various ways of prevention and support. In addition to that, I describe persisting barriers in the current system of social services. Last but not least, I aim to present information about the process of social inclusion, together with its successes and shortcomings young people may encounter during the procedure. Vlivy působící na množství somatických buněk v mléce holštýnských krav ve vybraném chovu

The aim of this thesis was to assess and evaluate various influences on somatic cell count of Holstein cows milk in a selected dairy farm. Five years (2012-2016) of monitoring animal recordings was used as a basis for studying and finding indicators that affect of somatic cells count. Milk yield, fat and protein content were also analyzed from data taken from animal recordings. We studied effects of the month, the year, the number of lactation and the milk yield. Mean values and other statistical indicators of milk compounds (minimum, maximum, coefficiet of variation, standard deviation) were determined and then compared with the other months and years. The results show that milk yield, number of lactation, month of the year effects somatic cell count. Weak correlation was found for influence the fat and protein content on somatic cell count.
