The methodology is intended to provide a framework for the use of open web space as a tool for teaching students at the university level, in e-learning or blended learning courses, and in various disciplines with an active and problem-oriented learning component which is desirable from the perspective of education for sustainable development. The virtual space (Wiki), the so-called "social web", provides an interactive environment and supports social skills such as cooperation, self-expression, and communication. This particular methodology is based on the concept of "academic literacy" where students develop their skills along with the writing process. MediaWiki software was used to stimulate meta-cognitive skills, the organization of the writing process, and critical thinking (with regard to resources); a model for an academic environment was presented there. Instructions available in the wiki support pre-writing, a resource search, the writing of a literature review & annotation, posing a research question, developing of text, and peer review. The method proved to be useful in practice; it provided evidence of student work and the results are available for future generations of students.

The methodology for using wiki software in education is available to teachers who want to use wiki software for teaching purposes. It presents the most important characteristics of a wiki environment, deals with the various possibilities for its active use, provides guidance on the use of the existing wiki environment, and on the selection and installation of the software, including its own modules. Special attention is also paid to analyzing the possibilities for the use, passively and actively, of the electronic encyclopedia Wikipedia for educational purposes. The methodology includes the topic of copyright law with regard to the significant systematic underestimation (especially in the electronic environment) of this issue by most teachers. The methodology also explains in detail the use of free copyright licenses, especially the Creative Commons license. The primary form of this methodology is its electronic form in the Enviwiki (see www.enviwiki.cz), where examples of work by students are also located. The methodology is thus freely available to anyone interested in using it, as it corresponds to the philosophy of teaching in an open information space.

The methodology provides a basic framework for university teachers who use active teaching methods and support collaborative student work. In CR, these methods are used rather intuitively this methodology provides an overview of basic pedagogical knowledge and experience that can help their inclusion in education in all fields of study. The methodology deals with the theoretical aspects of group cooperation: processes, relationships, group dynamics, possible barriers and risks that are typical in this method of teaching. It provides an overview of the possibilities of selecting team members, the social assumptions of group work, ways of building trust and methods of facilitating group processes. It briefly discusses the principles for planning project teamwork, tools for assessment of its results, and outlines the specifics of the e-learning environment. Using a teamwork method in e-learning enables one to benefit from all the interactive possibilities provided by the Internet to foster communication and collaborative features in the very process of learning; thus teamwork could help to adjust the e-learning method for the needs of practice.

Verbal fluency in patients with Alzheimer's disease
Pešek, Jiří ; Nikolai, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dlouhá, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on semantic verbal fluency (SVF) in patients with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Theoretical section consists of AD, MCI, and SVF description. Novel approaches of qualitative analysis are also explored, primarily vector analysis. The aim of this thesis is to research the potential of vector analysis in the SVF task. The vector system was tested on a sample of patients with MCI diagnosis and neurologically and psychiatrically healthy controls (HC). The MCI group was further divided into patients who were positive for presence of beta amyloids (AN) and patients who did not have positive beta amyloid levels (nonAN). The vegetable and animal category of the SVF task was used. The study focused on traditional qualitative indexes and total word count as its experimental variables. The vector system was better at identifying differences between the AN and HC group in the vegetable category. The same results were obtained for the group analysis of nonAN and HC groups, but between these groups there was not a significant difference in the mean word count. There were no significant differences between the experimental groups in any of the experimental variables in either category. Key words: Alzheimer's disease; Mild cognitive...
Procrastination and smartphones - possible cause or solution?
Vondrášková, Anežka ; Dlouhá, Jana (advisor) ; Kaplan, Cyril (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on linking the topic of procrastination with the topic of smartphone use. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to answer the question whether smartphones can be a cause or a solution to procrastination. Smartphones, with their comprehensive features, have the potential to be a tool to reduce procrastination behaviour. However, problematic aspects of their use may include procrastination. The literature review section focuses on the concepts separately and their interconnections. The phenomenon of procrastination is described in more detail, as are aspects of smartphone use. The bachelor thesis mentions studies that have investigated the connection between the phenomenon of procrastination and the use of smartphones. In the empirical part, a research project design is presented. Qualitative and quantitative research methods are used in the research project. The research design aims to find out whether a group of research participants who do not carry a smartphone during the research will procrastinate less than a group of research participants who do carry a smartphone but use an app to manage procrastination. This work could benefit research into effective procrastination interventions, as well as it could enrich the field of digital wellbeing.
Validization of Early Memories of Warmth and Safeness Scale in Czech setting
Kučerová, Lenka ; Niederlová, Markéta (advisor) ; Dlouhá, Jana (referee)
Present thesis explores early childhood memories of warmth and safety in relation to self- compassion. The thesis aims to establish validity of the Early Memories of Warmth and Safeness Scale (EMWSS-CZ). Theorethical part reviews the importance of early childhood memories of warmth and safety and their impact on developing self-compassion. Furthermore, self-compassion is elaborated in a greater detail in relation to psychopathology and mental health problems. Next, the thesis presents original theories, especially the theory of attachment and other theoretical works associated with therapeutic work focused on self-compassion. Empirical part of the thesis reviews validation of the EMWSS-CZ scale. Data were collected quantitatively using a questionnaire battery consisting of EMWSS-CZ, CORE-OM and YPI- R2. The testing battery was administered online and the collected sample consists of N = 406 participants from a non-clinical population who are older than 18 years of age. Results show negative correlation between recent experiences of negative affect (CORE-OM) and unfulfilled emotional needs in childhood (YPI-R2). Moreover, the high relibility of EMWSS-CZ indicates strong psychometric properties suggesting EMWSS-CZ is fit for use in either research or clinical settings. Keywords Memories of Warmth and...
Self-Efficacy in Unschooled Children
Fibichová, Kateřina ; Dlouhá, Jana (advisor) ; Pešout, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis discusses the interaction between the education methods and motivation. It uses the connection between self-efficacy and unschooling to show how aspects such as freedom, autonomy and intrinsic motivation are important for education (and a life-long learning). The first chapter maps the concept of self-efficacy. The second chapter defines the unschooling method and other alternative education forms both in Czechia and worldwide. The last chapter illustrates the influence these factors have on each other. With the proposed research, the author aims to contribute to the topic with quantitative data. Through the DOVE self-efficacy questionnaire, she compares the level of self-efficacy of children and teachers based on the selected education method. Marginally, the research also looks at the impact of the teacher/parent self-efficacy on pupils' self-efficacy. The results from the proposed research can be (in case of future execution) used as one of the arguments for implementing unschooling as one of the legitimate alternative education styles. Keywords Self-efficacy; Personal perceived efficacy; Motivation; Unschooling; Free schools; Alternative education; Homeschooling
