Design of a photovoltaic power plant with battery storage for a family house
Pavlíček, Michal ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic power plant with a battery storage for household purposes. In the theoretical part are mentioned principles and explanation of the function of photovoltaic cells and accumulators. The thesis also deals with the description of photovoltaic systems and the system of accumulation of energy in accumulators. In the final part are the system and legislative conditions analyzed. In the practical part, the photovoltaic power plant with battery storage for the home and its economic evaluation is proposed.
Feasibility study of the pumped storage power station
Račoch, Tomáš ; Pavlíček, Michal (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the feasibility study of the pumped storage power station in Střekov na Labi. The aim of the thesis is the design of one variant of the building and technological part of the power house. The study is divided into several parts, consisting of engineering report, hydraulic calculations, drawing documentation and photo-documentation.
Hydrodynamic model in the area of the confluence of the rivers Svitava and Svratka
Halaška, Ondřej ; Pavlíček, Michal (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with present state assessment of flood hazard on rivers Svitava and Svratka in the southern part of Brno. Flood discharges Q5, Q20, Q100 and Q100N were solved using coupled 1D/2D numerical model. All results were evaluated as maps of hazard.
Parental Couples' Views on Fatherhood
Pavlíček, Michal ; Pavlík, Petr (advisor) ; Havelková, Hana (referee)
This work focuses on the question of contemporary forms of fatherhood and thus responds to the current discussion about the greater involvement of men in childcare and domestic work. This ongoing discussion is closely associated with the equal opportunities for men and women. However, existing research shows that in most czech families the traditional gender division of family roles, which disadvantages women both within family and work life and limits men in fulfilling their parentel role, still prevails. The concept of active fatherhood presents man as an equally competent parent as a woman who is actively and more equally involved in childcare and domestic work. Poromoting this concept should help to eliminate inequalities mentioned above. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, in support of active fatherhood, has conducted sociological research "The Forms of Paternity in the Czech Republic". The qualitative research carried out in this work is based on the research areas of the qualitative part of the mentioned research, specifically the part focused on the involvement of fathers in childcare and their ideas about the father's role. Conducted research tries to provide a more complete picture of the form of fatherhood through the inclusion of women to my research. The...
Feasibility study of the flood protection measures in the localities of Pisárky and Staré Brno at the Svratka rive
Charvát, Jan ; Pavlíček, Michal (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the current state of flood protection in Brno, Pisárky and the Staré Brno district on the Svratka river at km 37.053 to 41.116 and the subsequent design and assessment of flood protection measures. Hydraulic calculations were carried out using the coupled 1D / 2D numerical model of water flow to pass peak flows Q1, Q5, Q20, Q100 a Q100 unaffected. The results are processed in the form of inundation maps and drawing documentation.
Study of small hydropower station in the locality of pumping station Vřesová
Ullmannová, Iva ; Pavlíček, Michal (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the thesis work is the completion of small hydropower plants under the water pumping station refundable Vresova district Sokolov. The grounds are Vřesová settling tank, where the sedimentation of impurities in water technology. The clarified water is sampling the subject and inlet pipe fed into the pumping station, which will use energy potential of water. Energy utilization, water is pumped back into the technological circuit on Vresova.
Alternative Investment Options
Dirhan, Martin ; Bartošek, Vladimír (referee) ; Pavlíček, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on alternative forms of investment (commemorative coins made of precious metals and French wines- Bordeaux) in comparison with common financial investments available within the financial market (life insurance, additional pension insurance and collective investment). The theoretical part places emphasis on definition of various investment forms principles and highlighting particular advantages and negatives. In the practical part, there are these investment tools analysed and consequently compared.
Fuzzy Model of Investor´s Decision into Photovoltaic Technologies During Pre-Design Phase
Pavlíček, Michal ; Brožová, Helena (referee) ; Čapek, Jan (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (referee) ; Dohnal, Mirko (advisor)
Dissertation deals with fuzzy knowledge base supporting investor’s investment decision into the photovoltaic technologies during pre-design phase, when the engineering solution is not known yet. Probably, majority of investors have particular image about the cost and risk coming from investment into the photovoltaic technologies. However, this image is limited to the restricted knowledge areas of each investor. During the period, when the investor is planning investment into the costly photovoltaic technologies at complex, vague and heavily qualified information about the conditions and risks of investment in the specific region, where the environment is constantly inconsistent and multidimensional, it is possible to solve this complex situation with fuzzy logic. This dissertation is focusing on creation of fuzzy knowledge base with selected installed projects in Europe since 2008 and its use with expert system. Furthermore, is covering the definition and description of the variables, which are included in the investor decision making process. The complete designed architecture of the fuzzy knowledge base is tuned and five projects with different size are tested. The fuzzy knowledge base consists of overall 24 variables and 187 statements.
Quantification of hydrodynamic load on overflowed bridge deck using 2D numerical simulation
Pavlíček, Michal ; Hrdlička, Libor (referee) ; Špano, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on a quantification of hydrodynamic load of overflowed bridge deck. Solution was pursued by using two–dimensional numerical simulation of open channel flow in vertical plane created in ANSYS 15.0 software (modules: Workbench, Design Modeler, Meshing, Fluent). Values of drag force, lift force, moment, drag coefficient, lift coefficient and moment coefficient is result of computation. Various types of bridge decks were tested in relation to the degree of inundation (inundation ratio) and flow velocity. The thesis provides comparison of numerical simulation with physical experimental testing and result published in accessible resources.
