Collisions of electrons with diatomic molecules
Matoušek, Mikuláš ; Houfek, Karel (advisor) ; Čížek, Martin (referee)
For succesfully carrying out R-matrix calculations, a good description of the excited states of the neutral molecule around the equilibrium is needed, obtained by an ab-initio method in a relatively small basis. It is also neccesary to have potential curves of the neutral molecule and the anion that are consistent with the experimentally obtained values for the molecule and are used to set up the initial parameters of these calculations. In this work we are trying to find a description of the excited states and to obtain reference curves in order to perform R-matrix calculations for two molecules, BeH and OH. For BeH we propose a description of the excited states by the SA-CASSCF method with an active space of 6,2,2,0 and in the aug-cc-pVDZ basis. Similarly for OH a description by the SA-CASSCF method with an active space of 6,2,2,0 or 7,3,3,0 and an in an aug-cc-pVDZ basis should be used, where we have also found a setting of the weights of the states in the SA-CAS-SCF method significantly improving the shape of the curves. We have not yet been able to perform the R-matrix calculations because of insufficient time. 1
VHF SSB Receiver with Low Consumption
Matoušek, Martin
This work is focused on proposal of SSB receiver operating at 30 MHz. The design was primarily focused on simplicity and low power consumption. This work was realized for the transmission of audio signals. SSB modulation is far more efficient in terms of the radio spectrum used. First part of this thesis describes a block diagram of a receiver. Next parts are focused on proposal of individual blocks of the receiver, especially its most important parts. Finally, the overall evaluations of the design characteristics of SSB receivers are discussed.
Algebraic Metods in Multivalued Logics
Matoušek, Milan ; Pták, Pavel (advisor) ; Navara, Mirko (referee) ; Dvurečenskij, Anatolij (referee)
In the thesis we deal with a binary operation that acts as abstract "symmetric difference". We endow orthocomplemented lattices with this operation and obtain a new class of algebras. We call these algebras orthocomplemented difference lattices (ODLs). We first see that the ODLs form a class that contains Boolean algebras and is contained in orthomodular lattices (OMLs). In the subsequent analysis we study algebraic properties of ODLs (identities valid in classes of ODLs, peculiarities connected with free ODLs, etc.) and find a characterization of set-representable ODLs. We then ask a natural question of which OML can be made (resp. can be enlarged to) an ODL. We exhibit several constructions - quite involved in places - that deepen the understanding of intrinsic properties of ODLs. As a rather surprising result in this line we find a connection with Z2-valued measures. In the end we relax the lattice condition imposed on ODLs. We obtain orthocomplemented difference posets. We then formulate and clarify several questions related to non-lattice "quantum logics".
Satellite Receiver with Integrated Antenna Tuner
Matoušek, Martin ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This work is focused on proposal of receiver with Integrated Antenna Tuner operating at 28 MHz. The design was primarily focused on simplicity and low power consumption. The receiver is adapted for SSB modulation. This work was realized for the transmission of audio signals. SSB modulation is far more efficient in terms of the radio spectrum used. First part of this thesis describes about the Antenna Tuner and block diagram of a receiver. Next parts are focused on proposal of individual blocks of the receiver, especially its most important parts. Finally, the overall evaluations of the design characteristics of SSB receivers with Integrated Antenna Tuner are discussed.
The precautions taken agaist criminality commited on the Strakonice district territory.
MATOUŠEK, Michal
The main topic of the bachelor thesis is an overview of the most common property criminality in the Strakonice district and the creation of technical precaution which should ensure the property safety. Moreover the perpetrators of the particular committed acts are assessed according to the accessible PČR statistics. The qualitative research is used as a method which consists of research question and three goals. The history of the law-enforcement agencies is described in the theoretical part. This part is focused on the structure and overview of the agencies from the origin of the Czechoslovak Republic until the present day. The basic terms are introduced criminality, precautions, criminal act, offence, administration offence and technical precaution. In the practical part the qualitative research data collecting is described which afterwards points on the main issues. Through the data analysis the form of the most common property criminality was discovered, namely the criminal act of theft by robbery. This criminal act was mostly made in the unsecured object such as garages, storehouses and cellars. The most common age of the perpetrators is over 18. From the analysed data and facts technical precautions were made which could effectively prevent the perpetrators' assaults. Seven proposals of the object securement show the development of the technical precautions at the end of the practical part. In conclusion of the bachelor thesis the issues of committed criminality are summarized and the overview of the most effective technical precaution is made, considering the application in practice.
ADHESION OF BIOCOMPATIBLE TiNb COATING
Kolegar, T. ; Matoušek, M. ; Vilémová, Monika ; Starý, V.
Preparation of a coating with a high quality requires good adhesion of the film to the substrate. The paper deals with the adhesion of biocompatible TiNb coating with different base materials. Several materials such as titanium CP grade 2, titanium alloys Ti6Al4V and stainless steel AISI 316L were measured. Testing samples were made in the shape of small discs. Those samples were coated with a TiNb layer by using the PVD method (magnetron sputtering). Onto the measured layer of TiNb an assistant cylinder was stuck using a high strength epoxy adhesive E1100S. The sample with the assistant cylinder was fixed into a special fixture and the whole assembly underwent pull-off testing for adhesion. The main result of this experiment was determining the strength needed to peel the layer and morphology and size of the breakaway. As a result, we will be able to determine the best base material and conditions where the coating will be remain intact with the base material.

Summer Olympic Games in the Cold War (Moscow 1980 and Los Angeles 1984)
Matoušek, Martin ; Kovář, Martin (advisor) ; Soukup, Jaromír (referee)
The work deals with the history of the Olympic Games, which were held in Moscow in 1980 and four years later in Los Angeles. These two major sporting events have been very affected by the political situation. The Soviet military intervention in Afghanistan in the end of 1979 led to the boycott of the Olympic Games from the US and a number of other States. I t was the largest boycott of the history of the games. Also indirectly led to the boycott of the games in Los Angeles, the Soviet Union and its satellites four years later. It is therefore both Olympics history analyzed in political context internationally. In this respect are the most important relations between the Soviet Union and the United States, mentioned are the other important events of international politics in the 1970s. years, including the Soviet-Afghan relations. In the case of two Olympiads are mentioned important facts concerning the Organization of the games facilities, sports venues, results and more. Mention also the impact of the boycott to cast individual and team competitions both Olympics. Part of the work is devoted to the Czechoslovak looking at the whole issue. The history of the Olympics, both the international situation and the way they were presented and accepted at the time in Czechoslovakia are the result of a...
Orthocomplemented difference lattices
Havlík, František ; Matoušek, Milan (referee) ; Pták, Pavel (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the investigation of a binary operator, 4, that models the standard symmetric di erence of sets. This operator is studied both separately (in Chapter II) and with the supplementary lattice structure (Chapter III and the rest). The class ODL is introduced and some of its basic properties are investigated. Then there is exhibited the class HOR. The class HOR is a subclass of ODL which is closely related to the class of Boolean algebras. In the last Chapter there is described the construction of free orthocomplemented di erence lattice with two generators. 3
