(in English): My diploma work is specifically focused on social workers' task who tried the most to give help and support to tuberculous people and their families between 1930 and 1945. The target of this diploma thesis is to capturing a description of social work activities in the treatment of tuberculosis in our country in years 1930-1945, through the magazine called The Fight Against Tuberculosis published by the Masaryk league against tuberculosis This nagazine dealt with this illness and everything which was related with it. Theoretical part defines key terms like social work, tuberculosis, special depatments focused on treatment of tuberculosis. Other part of work specifically describes history of social workers'education, their practise, social work with families and as well as multidisciplinary cooperation. My work contains practical part too. It is about content analysis.
Changes in foster care in our country until 1989

The diploma thesis captures the genesis of foster care in our territory from the beginning to 1989. Emphasis is placed on important historical milestones that have influenced the development of foster care. The aim of the work is based on the comparison of analyzed historical documents with the findings contained in secondary sources focused on the procedures of the foster care subjects of the time to find out how this care was provided in that period, and thus expand the current state of research. Action Research: implementation of supervision of the network of services for vulnerable children and families in Chrudim

The main objective of my work was to transparently capture the process of implementation of provision of network supervision in Chrudim through the action research method. The theoretical part has been dedicated to the description of supervision as one of important tools for professional growth of workers in helping professions. Experiences with the provision of interdisciplinary supervision in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic were described. The second part of the theoretical section was focused on interdisciplinary cooperation in the Czech Republic, specifically cooperation within the network of services for vulnerable children and families in Chrudim. In the research I used the method of action research, which is about dialogue and cooperation of all research participants. Action research investigation stems from everyday practice and aims to find the best solution to a given problem at local level. I used the methods of observation, self-research, focus groups and semi-structured interviews to obtain data. Research participants were employees of the Department of Social and Legal Protection and workers from non-profit organizations from Chrudim and its surroundings. Peer consultants' self-stigma and dealing with it

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of self-stigmatization of peer consultants and their position in the work team. The aim of this work is to examine the degree of self-stigmatization in peer consultants, how they experience and overcome it. And gather knowledges haw to support the current education and position of peer consultants in the work environment. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the stigmatization, peer consultation and the recovery process. The empirical part consists of two consecutive research studies. The first examines the degree of self-stigmatization of peer consultants on comparison with the general population of the mentally ill in the Czech Republic. And the second examines whether and how peer consultants experience self-stigmatization, how they work with it, and what role their surroundings, especially relationships and employment, play in their view. It also examines the current working environment conditions of peer workers. Mainly in the field of competencies, job description and education. Optimization of the role of quality manager in social services of personal assistance

This diploma thesis deals with the role, position and profession development of quality managers in the social service of personal assistance. It describes the emergence of this role in the context of the development of legislation in the Czech Republic and its changes after the entry into force of Act No. 108/2006 Coll. on social services, which regulates their provision. It reveals the importance of the quality manager's role in the personal assistance service from the point of view of its directors, social and management staff and quality managers, in context with the requirements for its fulfilment. Based on interviews with participants, the research identifies the role of the quality manager as a "quality teacher", a "motivator" and a "protector". The author also briefly deals with the stories of quality managers and their experience from methodological practice. Furthermore, the research shows the possibilities of grasping the quality manager's position in the organization, the preconditions for its fulfilment and aspects of the organization's culture, which have an influence on the fulfilment on the role of quality manager. The review section describes the general background of the Satir model and the basis of therapy theory and supervision theory. It deals with the general level of therapy and supervision boundaries. The methodological part includes a description of the grounded theory used to obtain data from informants, supervisors working according to the TSTS model. In addition, a supplementary questionnaire quantitative survey was used to determine how supervisants who got an experience with therapy perceive the boundaries between the therapy and the supervision. The analytical part starts with providing the insight into how supervisors educated in the Growth model understand the differentiation of therapy and supervision boundaries and how they use the TSTS techniques. Further it is supplemented with our findings as to what supervisants expect to gain in supervision, and which methods they refuse and consider to cross the boundary between the therapy and supervision. The topic of this thesis is the Methods of social work with elderly people used in our territory in 1948-1989. The goal of this thesis is to description of the methods used in social work with seniors in the defined period. The method used in this thesis is a synthesis of scientific knowledge from literature mapping social work in the period from 1948 to 1989 and analysis of the historical period. This thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the theoretical framework, which describes the social area with an emphasis on old people. The second chapter is devoted to the introductory article on social work from the perspective of the target group of seniors. Attention is paid especially to the introduction to the political context and the social security system and the functioning of social services. A necessary part of this work is also a brief historical excursion, which is described in the third chapter. The historical excursion briefly maps the period from the 17th century to the first half of the 20th century, in the context of perception of old age, death and family cohabitation.
