Technical Analysis
Němec, Ondřej ; Dvořák, Zdeněk (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
The subject of my thesis is technical analysis - creation of an investment strategies. The theoretical part describes the theoretical background relating to technical analysis and indicators. The practical part map the current situation in the environment of investing in forex - comparing brokers, choice of platform, etc. The solution contains a description of the investment strategies that have been programmed in Meta Quotes Language 4 and tested and optimized using genetic algorithms in platform MetaTrader 4. In my thesis is also calculated the interdependence of investment strategies.
Selection and Application of Surge Arresters for Middle-Voltage Air-Insulated Switchgears
Němec, Ondřej ; Bernard, Michal (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to introduce readers with design of a surge arresters in four different categories. In the first part of this thesis is described theory of overvoltage, surge arresters and testing. The second part of this thesis is focused on design of surge arresters to protect from overvoltage due switching capacitive loads. The thesis continued with design of surge arresters in medium voltage network. The next part is design of surge arresters to protect from overvoltage due switching inductive loads. The next point is protective distance of surge arresters in different lighting overvoltages. In the conclusion of this thesis is the appreciation of whole problems about surge arresters.
System for measuring properties of electronic transformers
Němec, Ondřej ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis was to study the properties of electronic current and voltage transformers, choose the method for temperature cycle accuracy test and the development of the measuring software. Measuring software was realized in LabVIEW version 8.2. The first part describe the topic of this thesis. The second part describes various kinds of sensors and describtion of functions and specifications. The third part describe programming system LabVIEW. The fourth describe design of connection supply and measurement part of circuit. The fifth part describes used instruments. The sixth part is about used methods measuring. In the seven part is the description of the functions of this program and its control. In eight part is evaluated measurement uncertainty. In the last part are shown examples of the application program.
Reliability assessment of FPM
Němec, Ondřej ; Dvořák,, Ladislav (referee) ; Julínek, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of this thesis was the evaluation of selected elements of flood control measures, abbreviated as PPO. The aim of this paper was to develop evaluation procedure of PPO and then to apply proposed procedure to a specific location. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) that allows the identification of failure modes, their causes and consequences.was chose as a method for qualitative assessment.
Semi-detached house, Lanskroun
Němec, Ondřej ; Kalábová, Tereza (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is based on design of semi-atteched house on the street Slovenské in Lanškroun. Bulding plot is situated in new city quarter determined for family houses outside the city center. Shape of semi-atteched house is almost rectangle and it is made of two parts where each part is designed for family of four to five members. All living rooms are oriented to south that allows residents to enter the garden and the patio in first floor. Each part of house includes garage for one car.
Influence the stabilization of the contralateral lower limb on the accuracy of a football kick
NĚMEC, Ondřej
This thesis is focusing on the kick accuracy in football. Kick accuracy is an important aspect of the game, therefore all playes around the world are practicing it during every training session. The thesis is divided into two main sections theoretical section and practical section. In the first, theoretical section, the history of football and the locomotor moves that are omnipresent during the game are described. Additionaly, I describe the various different kicking styles and what muscles are in use during these. The anatomy of the lower limb and kineziology of the hip joint, knee joint and astragalar joint are also described in the theoretical section. In the second, practical section the method of own research was applied. Three football players (22-23 years old) from TJ Hluboka nad Vltavou were examined and tested. All participants underwent complex check-in and check-out kinesiology analysis. Anamnesis was gained through interviews. Every participant underwent the following tests: glance examination, palpation, anthropometric examination, goniometric examination, the examination of the game of the joints, the examination of the stereotypical moves, the examination of shortened muscles and functional tests. The last testing was my own football kick accuracy testing which was tested in different situations. The therapy lasted for the duration of 6 weeks, the sessions lasted for 15 minutes twice a week. A specific excercises were used with focus on stabilization of the lower limb. It contained elements of dynamic neuromuscular facillitation (DNS). The main focus of the thesis was to find out what impact have specific static stabilizations of the lower limb on the kick accuracy. As a result of the research, two participants improved their kick accuracy. Their lower limb became more stabilized and their shortened muscles stretched. This thesis can become an impulse for future research involving more participants to ensure objectivity. This thesis can be of benefit for football coaches or fyziotherapists who help players with their technique and rehabilitation.
Methodology of the Phillips Curve from the Austrian perspective
Němec, Ondřej ; Slaný, Martin (advisor) ; Čermáková, Klára (referee)
This bachelor's thesis examines the Phillips curve from a few different points of view. It shows the econometric method that was used to construct the Phillips curve and explains why, from Austrian School of economics' point of view, this method isn't a valid approach to examining the nature of human action. It explains the connection between money supply and price level and discusses consequences of monetary expansion. Using the Austrian business cycle theory it explains the true relationship between rate of inflation and rate of unemployment and argues that in the long run, this relationship is positive. This hypothesis is also supported by empiric observation using Niskanen's model of the Phillips curve.
Micromechanical aspects of transgranular and intergranular failure competition
Dlouhý, Ivo ; Němec, Ondřej
Main purpose of the work was to quantify causes and characteristics governing the intergranular fracture initiation and occurrence of this fracture micromechanism in competition with cleavage one. A CrNi steel of commercial quality and the same steel with increased content of impurity elements have been used for investigation. Step cooling treatment has been applied in order to induce intergranular embrittlement and brittle fracture initiation in both steel melts. Except for standard specimen geometry for three-point bending the pre-cracked Charpy type specimens were applied for determination of fracture mechanical properties. Fractal analysis was applied in order to characterise the quantitative morphological differences in fracture surfaces. Relation of cleavage fracture stress and critical stress for intergranular failure has been followed.
Operational degradation and competition of cleavage and intergranular failure
Němec, Ondřej ; Dlouhý, Ivo
In present contribution, cumulative effect of metallurgic impurities and simulated operational degradation is analysed both resulting in intergranular embrittlement and fracture. For criteria formulation of critical and/or acceptable metallurgic impurities content the competition of two stress controlled fracture mechanisms is developed. When quantifying the impurities effect the characteristics of fracture surface morphology (fractal dimension) and critical fracture stress have been applied.
