Usability of accounting information during controls of type 3E

The subject of the thesis is using information from the accountancy during controls 3E type (stands for economy, efficiency and effectiveness) by the subsidies aimed at subsidies from European Union funds. Thesis deals with the possibilities of subsidies from the EU through the. ESI (acronym for European structural and investment funds) funds and then how the Czech Republic fulfills the EU regional policy, including the system of applying for subsidies in the Czech Republic. A relatively large part of the thesis consists of the control system of subsidies from EU in the Czech Republic and in connection with this is generally described the principle 3E. For control purposes is as a source of input data used monitor of the state treasury as a result of state accounting reform. This topic is covered in the next chapter, focusing on requirements in accounting for selected accounting units, including the using of information from financial statements published in the monitor of state treasury, is public sector entities and in this chapter is also formulated a hypothesis to determine the details and the useability of this information for control type 3E by the subsidies. The result was a disproving of the hypothesis that the data from the financial statements of the selected accounting units are useful in controlling type 3E and then efforts to custom design the structure of financial statements.

Maritime container transport between China and Europe related to the company DB Schenker.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to define the maritime container transport and some of the important aspects, which are closely related to it. The next goal is to describe the single steps of the maritime container transport (LCL) from port in Hong Kong, to compare import of LCL consignment from port in Hong Kong or port in Nansha and to decide which of these option is better for the customer in Czech republic, speaking of time and cost view. This goal is shown on the specific business case in DB Schenker company.

Financial analysis of the company Carla s. r. o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to accomplish a financial analyse of the company Carla, s. r. o. between the years of 2011 and 2014. The thesis is divided into two parts. Methodical and practical. Methodical part is focused on description of procedures of financial analysis and definition of partikular indicators, concretely horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indexes, bankrupcy and creditworthy models. In practical part of thesis the company Carla, s. r. o. is introduced and indexes, which are defined in methodical part are calculated. At the end there are summarized results of particular parts of financial analysis.

Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Germany with example of a particular company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The first part is focused on an analysis of the position of Germany in the global economy and international trade. Its position and economic development are compared with the Czech Republic. In the next section is evaluated trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. In the practical part is introduced a German company F. X. Meiller, which has a manufacturing facility in the Czech republic since 1993. For the Czech subsidiary were conducted PESTLE analysis and financial analysis. As a follow-up to the analysis of the financial situation of the company have been proposed new approaches, which might help to solve the problems that the company faces.

Financial analysis of Schindler CZ, Inc.

In this work i will aim to create financial analysis of Schindler CZ, Inc. in years 2009-2013. The work will be divided into theoretical part, which will explain the methodological used, which i chose to avaluate the situation. In the next section, practical, i will apply selected indicators and subsequently be attempting to comment with regard to the outcome of the calculations. This part consist of verical and horizontal analysis, financial ratios, profitability indicators, debt ratios, liquidity ratios and indicators of activity. As the next thing, i will count the indicator EVA( economic value added) and then try to comapre company with industry. At the end i will summarize foundings and try to propose recommending measures to improve the financial situation.

The aim of this thesis is to determine the investment value of the company PragoBoard s.r.o. as of the 31st December, 2013. The objective of this company's activity is the production of printed circuit boards. This thesis is divided into the following parts: an introduction of the company and its business operations, financial analysis, strategic analysis, generators of value and financial plan, valuation. The final valuation is based on two methods: DCF Equity and a market comparison to other publicly traded companies.

Changes in the liner shipping market caused by the global economic crisis

The theme of the Master's Thesis is liner shipping. The main issue concerns the changes in the liner shipping market caused by the economic crisis started in 2008. The first theoretical part of the thesis deals with characterization and classification of the liner shipping. Further the thesis concentrates on the containerization and the international organizations in maritime business. The second part of the thesis considers the development of the liner shipping market since 2008 till present days. The fundamental part aims to the measures taken by liner operators and freight forwarders.
