Visually motivated signs in the Czech sign language

U znakových jazyků, stejně jako v případě jiných přirozených jazyků, lze pozorovat strukturní uspořádání systému jazykových znaků. To znamená, že v něm lze vydělovat rovinu nejmenších jednotek mající význam (tzv. znaků, stojících na úrovni morfémů a slov jazyků mluvených), ty pak dále dělit na jednotky nižší, které samy o sobě význam nemají, ale mohou význam IIvyššíchll celků rozlišit. (Stokoe 1960; Macurová 1994, 1998, 2001). Jako jeden z podstatných rysů přirozených jazyků je uváděn libovolný (arbitrární), společensky daný vztah mezi slovy (u mluvených jazyků) a tím, co slova označují (Černý 1998; Jirák-Nekvapil-Šoltys 1996). Tento vztah se zdá být kvůli vizuálněmotorické povaze národních znakových jazyků v jejich struktuře nepřítomen. Znaky znakových jazyků jsou označovány za ikonické (mezi tím, jak znak vypadá a tím, co označuje, je vztah podobnosti). Tento dojem je pochopitelný. Národní znakové jazyky jsou svou formou existence velmi podobné neverbální komunikaci - komunikaci pomocí mimiky, gest. J sou totiž vytvářeny rovněž souborem prostředků založených na pohybech tváře, rukou a horní části těla. Často jsou připodobňovány k formě umění, kdy se umělci nevyjadřují pomocí slov, nýbrž pohybem a výraznou mimikou - tedy k pantomimě. Folk verbal art in the context of ethnolinguistics and its function in teaching Czech as a second language

Subject of the Diploma is a use of folktexts in Czech courses for foreigners. An education material draft is being submitted, based on communication approach to language teaching, connects language and socialcultural dimension through. Submitted education material is a calendar like that defines four seasons in the Czech Republic through their attributes, i. e. their essential characteristics, in the folktexts included, and supported by the folktexts also explains appropriate rituals, feasts and concepts of the seasons. All texts and information of the education material draft are chosen or adapted with respect to communication needs of the foreign language students and in order to introduce concepts and knowledge of the Czech geography, culture and cultural history.

The picture of life and death in the Czech linguistic picture of the world

Práce zkoumá jazykový obraz smrti a života v češtině na základě etymologie, slovníkových definic a derivátů lexémů smrt, mrtvý, umřít, život, živý a žít, dále na základě frazémů a textů lidových písní a pohádek. Vychází z pojetí metafory jako něčeho, na čem je založen náš konceptuální systém, dále z teorie kategorizace a z chápání antropomorfismu a tělesnosti jako jednoho z hlavních principů jazykového obrazu světa. Metafory smrti a života jsou děleny podle oblasti cílové a zdrojové. Jak se ukázalo, v cílové oblasti jsou oba pojmy pojímány jako konkrétní entity, se kterými lze jako s předměty zacházet a které mají svou prostorovou orientaci. O antropomorfním pojetí pojmu smrt svědčí i konceptualizace smrti jako osoby. Také atributy, které jsou smrti přisuzovány (zejm. vlastnosti hodnotící a vlastnosti vnímatelné smysly), dokládají její pojetí jakožto osoby nebo konkrétního předmětu. Mezi základní představová schémata patří u obou pojmů schéma nádoby (prostoru) a cesty. Život je chápán jako kontinuum ohraničené z jedné strany narozením (vstupem do prostoru života) a ze strany druhé smrtí (odchodem z prostoru života). The Czech names of birds from etymological and word-formation aspect

Diplomová práce se zabývá etymologickou a slovotvornou analýzou českých jmen ptáků, kterých pro tyto účely bylo nashromážděno sto čtyřicet. Přináší základní přehled dosavadních etymologií jednotlivých názvů a zároveň hledá možné nové výklady, především těch jmen, jež jsou poměrně mladá (z 18., 19. a 20. stoL). Při analýze formální stránky názvů se zaměřuje především na slovotvorné procesy, jež je možné z jejich historického vývoje vysledovat. Jedna kapitola je zvlášť věnována etymologiím některých nářečních jmen ptáků žijících volně v přírodě i názvů domestikovaného ptactva. Závěr práce přináší stručné klasifikace jmen - z hlediska pojmenovacích motivací, z hlediska slovotvorby a také klasifikaci podle doby jejich vzniku.

Multifunctional house

This master thesis deals with study of area, which is intended for construction of apartments building and public facilities. Four building are projected with visually connection by a covered parking place. There are three apartments building and one multifunctional building. The aim of this master thesis is elaboration of project documentation for the implementation of new multifunctional house in the area of the city Uherský Brod. In the first floor is designed café, which has its own entrance. In the second part of the floor is household equipment and utility room, which also has a separate entrance from outside. In the second to fourth floor is ten housing units of different sizes. The object is located on a gently sloping land in the northern part of Uherský Brod in the new city district called “Nad Zámkem”. Wall construction is designed from Porotherm elements. Ceiling construction is monolithic reinforced concrete. Roofing is solved by single-flat roof. The drawing part of this master thesis is processed in AutoCAD.

The diploma thesis deals with a comparison of B2B marketing tools of the biggest pharmaceutical distributors on the Czech market. Alliance Healthcare is one of the leading distributors in this area and would like to increase its turnover and gain new clients. The aim of the thesis is to define marketing tools of all pharmaceutical distributors, make a questionnaire based on this topic that will be sent to customers of the biggest companies and find out how the particular tools are evaluated by the pharmacies and what the position of Alliance Healthcare in comparison to its competitors is. After the evaluation of the questionnaire recommendations that could help Alliance Healthcare to reach its goal follow.

Single-family house

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to undertake a project documentation for the construction of a new single-family house which falls within the administrative area of Uherský Brod. The documentation explores a two-storey detached house suitable for four family members. The house has two floors, where each floor has a specific purpose. The first floor performs the social and technical function, whereas the second floor comprises the relaxation area. Two parking spaces are provided by the garage which is situated on the ground floor. The building is based on strip footings mounted by necks from lost formwork. Both vertical and horizontal structures are made of Porotherm structural brick construction system. A non-trafficable flat roof is chosen as a solution to the building´s roofing. The second recessed floor is covered by a shed roof that is pitched at 9 degrees. The drawing documentation of the thesis is processed in the AutoCAD software.

The marketing strategy of LINET Ltd. for the Slovak market

The bachelor thesis deals with the marketing strategy of LINET Ltd. on the Slovak market. Sales of medical products of the company in the Slovak Republic are too low in comparison with the Czech Republic, that's why the aim of the thesis is mainly to suggest marketing arrangements which should increase the saleability. The Slovak market is looked after by the distributor company BASCO SK Ltd. which is the exclusive sales representative of the company in the Slovak Republic. The thesis is based on the analysis of the business environment of Slovakia which is the base for suggested recommendations. Proposed changes are always applied to the particular policy of the marketing mix. These are product, price, distribution and promotion policies.

Cultivation of musícal talent of preschool children

My bachelor´s work called {\clqq}Cultivation of musical talent of preschool children`` concerns the conditions for development of children´s musical talent in school institutions aimed at pre-school education. Aim of this work is to find out these conditions and suggest the recommendation to support these children. In the theoretical part of this work I try to deal with the issues of talent of pre-school-aged children, manifestation of musical talent, characteristics of the personality of a child demonstrating the musical talent, and issue of possibilities of support of such child. The work contains the research of conditions supporting the musical talent in nursery schools and musical schools, and also the results of contemplation in particular institutions and evaluation of the questionnaires. The practical part of the work contains the programme of developing of the musical talent of pre-school-aged children.

Arranged every 5 years at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Institute of Czech Literature, the congress brought together some 150 researchers this year. World intermedia studies research has developed from case studies into initial syntheses, while in the Czech context it still has slight symptoms of "otherness". Studies contained in this collection deal with analyses into the crossing of media boundaries within the framework of authorial poetics, within individual works and between semiotic systems: the problematization of film and radio adaptations of literary works, comics, ekphrasis and other thematizations of the fine arts or musical motifs in literature, the relationship between drama and theatre stagings and the representation of reality and the procedures of other media in literary texts.
