Ensuring the quality of education in implementing organizations further vocational training

Quality assurance of education in organizations providing further vocational education Dagmar Urbanová ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis is to analyze the possibilities of assurance of quality in private organizations providing adult professional education in the Czech Republic and to find out whether and with what impact these possibilities are currently used. The theoretical part puts continuing professional education into the context of lifelong learning, outlines the historical development of this segment of education, recalls important documents, organizations, and events that advocate autonomy, development and spreading of awareness of the importance of continuing professional education. In the second chapter of the theoretical part, the current possible tools and methods for the management and evaluation of the quality of adult education are defined and described. The research part uses a questionnaire survey to explore what methods for the improving the quality of their services the organizations providing adult education use, what the applied methods give to them, what requirements they impose to their instructors and the overall role played by the quality in their activities. Retention of teachers and assistants in kindergarten with special care

This diploma thesis focuses on the retention of teachers and teaching assistants in a specific kindergarten with special care. It searches for the reasons the employees have for staying in their current position and the ones for leaving it. The thesis then continues to research what can be done by this schools management to hold onto quality teachers and teaching assistants. The work observes possible connections of individual aspects of the job with the employees satisfaction and their tendencies to stay in said organization. Among the aspects that influence the employees satisfaction, we can find for example the working conditions, workload, work organization, the ability of professional development, rewards, interpersonal relations in the workplace, communication, the managements leading style or care for employees. In the theoretical part, I've searched through the available literature for connections between job (dis)satisfaction, work behavior patterns and employees turnover. I based my work on literature mostly focusing on psychology and sociology of management, social psychology, social psychology in a workplace, human resources management, management and school management. Life Stories of Preschool Directresses

This thesis examines life stories of three chosen preschool directresses. Based on life story interviews it brings and partially compares their life stories, picks out the critical incidents and characteristic features of their lives, gives insight into individual phases of their director's role and document their reflection of the role itself. The in - depth interviews focus on complex understanding of individual's life. The directresses are examined based on both their professional development and personal experiences. This thesis documents own interpretations of life stories; it is a source of self-reflection for the examined directresses. It also serves as an inspiration source for directors newly in the office. It is formally divided into two parts: the theoretical one gives an overview of life-story interview as a methodological approach applied. Furthermore, it is also devoted to the director as an individual being defined mainly in the Czech School Law. It also represents the existing results of both teachers' and directors' life stories research. The research part represents an analysis of life story interviews with three chosen preschool directresses in connection to the research questions.
Analysis of the major educational management theories in academic periodical published between 2000 - 2015

This diploma thesis analyses the content of articles of the international journal "The International Journal of Educational Management" (IJEM). The magazine focuses on educational management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze proffesional articles, which were published in this journal between 2000 and 2015. The major theories of the educational management for the period of 2000 - 2015 were based on these results. The diploma thesis contains two main parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the educational management and the development of it. Next is the describtion of the procedure and methods of content analysis. Analytical part contains the results of analyzes that were evaluated. The conclusion of the thesis is based on the results of the analysis and is responsible for the research work. Strategic Human Resource Management in kindergartens and nursery schools separated work

The present diploma thesis is focused on description and comparison of strategic management of human resources in kindergarten and kindergarten with remoted institutions in Carlsbad Region. The theoretical part introduce the fundamental terms connected with the strategic management of human resources from different perspectives, and the methods of strategic management of human resources in school institution. The empirical research reveals and compares the strategic management of human resources in kindergarten and kindergarten with remoted institutions. Further, the empirical research of strategic management is focused on the size of kindergarten in terms of number of classes. Two research methods were chosen: questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The semi-structured interviews were added due to obtaining of more specified and detailed information concerning given topic. Based on the results, it may be stated that the management of kindergarten and kindergarten with remoted institutions is strategic as regards human resources. However, the management differs one from another. The most important condition, affecting the strategic management of human resources, is the number of classes in the kindergartens.
Practical Use of Cultural Education Management

The aim of this diploma thesis is methodical recommendation to the management of education in a given area of culture for individual culture bearers represented by the founders of historical monuments and their administrators. Stated goals have been achieved through content analysis of strategic materials and their reflections in specific organizations, based on interviews with culture representatives in the field of historical monuments on one side and education experts on the other side. The aim of the interviews is to identify the consistencies, differences and tendencies in the explored sector, which will then be reflected in the methodological recommendations to the individual cultural bearers. Author defines basic terminology related to the culture and its historical development in the theoretical part of the thesis, placing a significant focus on the definition of cultural and Christian values that have shaped modern-day Europe. These theoretical principles are then developed through a chronologic overview of main activities and strategic documents of the Czech Republic as well as by the European Union and international expert institutions taking care of maintenance and development of culture and cultural heritage in education. Applying the concept of diversity management in primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region

1 ABSTRACT The master thesis deals with the application of the concept of diversity management. Its objective is to determine the degree of implementation of diversity management in selected primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region. The theoretical part describes the theoretical knowledge about diversity and diversity management, their importance, classifiction of every type and description of the implementation of diversity management in organization with possible connections to the schools. The theoretical part constitutes a knowledge base for the practical part, which presents the results of a survey conducted per an online questionnaire electronic forms and personal interviews with the directresses and the directors of elementary schools. The investigation of internal documents was conducted in schools of the directresses and directors in the last stage of the research process. Proposal for optimization of organization of teaching staff education to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia

1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the educational management of the teaching staff supervising the state graduation exams. The theoretical part explains the concept of educational management and focuses in detail on the managerial function of organization. It describes the current form of the state graduation exams, related legislation and institutions involved. The thesis explains the staffing of graduation exams and individual training programs for teachers, and clarifies the role of further education of teachers. The aim of the work is to optimize the organization surrounding the education of teachers supervising the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia. The data in the presented research were collected via a survey among participants of the education related to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia in the school year of 2015/2016 and interviews with lecturers of relevant training programs.
