Principles of Choosing of Electric Wheelchair

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to put together standards, which have to be followed during the selection of a powered wheelchair. In theoretical part there is described the process related to the request for a powered wheelchair and the informations about the right sequence of measurement in order to preserving the right sitting position. Some informations about the propulsion of the powered wheelchair could also be found here. Last but not least there is described what can happen if the choose will be wrong. In practical part there are the results of questionaire, by the help of which I found out the subjective level of comfort from the users of the powered wheelchairs. The total sum of 10 people took part in this questionaire. The results are shown in diagrams. Then is there given a casuistry which uses electric wheelchair.
Influence of activities of life of seniors

This thesis is focused on the review of senior people's activities in the Czech Republic. It finds out and explains the reason why elderly people are interested in some special activities and why it is important for them to be involved. This thesis consists of two main parts; the theorethical part and the practical part. The theoretical part features a list of important ideas and definitions by diffrent authors. Both institutional activites and extra institutional activites were selected. I describe several model situations that are related to the institutional activities, that are presented by the certain cases in some institutions and by my practical experiences. I recognise that many institutions provide different activities that are presented like therapeutical activities but there are no professional staff to provide them. Because of that, I divided activities into the therapeutical and the nontherapeutical. I also mention some examples of extra institutional activities that are presented for example, by senior education, hobby groups, exercise activities etc. The practical part is focused on healthy activities, especially on the senior's voluntary work for the project "Senior to seniors". Practical application of ICF

The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is a tool that could help improve the coordination between health and social services. This classification will help with communication as a common language in interprofessional rehabilitation team. The research objective of our thesis is to investigate the practical applicability of ICF in health and social services in the field of regulations governing entitlement to "special aids", i.e. Act No. 329/2011 and Decree No. 388/2011, as amended.
