Multifunctional modular FDM 3D printer
Indra, Zdeněk ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Jaššo, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with problems of 3D printers, their types according to function principle and their design. In addition to print materials, FDM printers chapter includes the types of motion systems available for FDM 3D printing, and the possibility of converting 3D printers to other CNC devices is discussed. This theory is then evaluated and the most suitable parts are used to build modular CNC machine wich is then tested in configuration of FDM 3D printer.
Load tests of non-IT parts of data centers
Víteček, Aleš ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis "Load testing of non-IT parts data centers" deals with the theoretical analysis of data centers with a focus on non-IT part and theoretical preparation for measuring stress tests focused mainly on cooling. The theory is followed by a practical part of the PEC measurement by CATEGORY a.s .. This sample measurement carried out at the company premises clearly outlines the importance of performing similar tests. The measurement is thoroughly evaluated and suggestions are made to improve the operation. The next part of the practical part contains simulation of sample measurement. This simulation serves as a convenient addition and comparison. Also this simulation, the importance of similar stress tests can be justified.
Delta type of 3D printer
Němec, Radek ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis is about design and construction of FDM delta 3D printer which consists of 32-bit electronics, magnetics printer head and other necessary peripheries. Opening chapters of this thesis are about theory of 3D printing and its methods with description of FDM 3D printers and summarization of FDM plastic materials used for 3D printing. The next part is about used electronics and problematic of heat transfer. The main part of this thesis describes design and construction of 3D printer and its necessary peripheries, which includes creation of its 3D model and application for 32bit controller. 3D model of delta 3D printer and its heating components was created in CAD software SolidWorks. The last part includes description of commissioning and calibration of delta 3D printer with summarization of economic aspects of its creation.
Topological optimization in technical practice
Mazoch, Jan ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with an issue of 3D printing and of using a topological optimization for editing a shape of a 3D printed product. First part of this thesis provides a general description of a subtractive manufacturing technology, specifically its use in CNC milling machines, and of an additive manufacturing technology which is used in 3D printing. Second part of this thesis describes the topological optimization per se and specific methods which are used in the topological optimization. In the third and the fourth part of this thesis, topological optimization modules of software Ansys and SolidWorks are described. In the fifth part of this thesis, the topological optimization capabilities for 3D printed product on a specific embodiments of a design lightning and a cross-beam are demonstrated.
Measuring system for recording and displaying LF magnetic field
Dušek, Jiří ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes types and measuring principes of magnetic field as first. Furthermore it deals with parameters of sensor HMC2003 and data acquision. Selected card for acquision was USB-6218 from company National Instruments. After that project describes programing interface LabVIEW, which was used for desing of acquision program. Next part deals with comuncation between card and computer, drivers and properties of card. After that were explained requirements on measuring interface. Furthermore it deals with basic parts of the acquision software and describes its function with connection to user interface. Finally the interface was tested.
Testing of selected material properties for 3D printing
Čáslavský, František ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with 3D printing, materials used for 3D printing, testing of the materials and learning their real parameters. Goal of the thesis is comparing selected materials, executing series of mechanical test and selecting suitable material for printing high-quality plastic parts for use in automobiles, especially for reproduction of parts that are no longer made for oldtimers and for use in motorsport.
Realization of an automated production line workplace
Pecha, Václav ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
The thesis deals with the automation of the production process of the workplace for forging of metal parts for a specific customer in a specific environment. In the introduction, there is an analysis of the industrial revolution. In the next part, the thesis is devoted to the virtual commissioning in Process Simulate. It then deals with the technical part of the design and detailed specifications of the individual components. Finally, the success of the project after the implementation is evaluated.
Modeling of magnetohydrodynamic phenomena
Mačák, Martin ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
Theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to the theoretical basis of electric conduction phenomena in fluids and method of calculation of magnetohydrodynamic phenomena. In the experimental part, computational modules have been developed to complement and augment the use of commercial simulation programs for simulation in the field of magnetohydrodynamics. On practical examples of mass spectrometer simulation, Einzel lens, electron movement and electric circuit breaker, the functionality of the computational models and the correctness of the obtained results were documented. Created computational modules can be used to design and optimize products using magnetohydrodynamic phenomena.
