LOCA Energy Performance Study for Simulation of Heavy Accident at NPP
Zemčíková, Kristína ; Andrle,, Karel (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis studies the energy performance of the LOCA device used for the simulation of accidents at nuclear power plants, which can be found at the CV Řež research centre. LOCA stands for Loss of Coolant Accident, which is kind of serious accident that may occur at NPPs. During the accident, the coolant is assumed to be leaking due to a fissure in one of the main pipes. The unique LOCA device at the research centre simulates this accident and is used for testing important components utilised at nuclear power plants. This thesis describes the LOCA device and attempts to determine its energy consumption over the course of a 10-day experiment. By leveraging the consumption curve of the research centre, possible operational optimisations applicable to this LOCA device technology will be proposed.
Calculation of the network steady state on the voltage level 110 kV
Macháč, Petr ; Vaculík, Petr (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with load flow calculation of electrical network 110 kV before and after the connection to the 70MW gas supply and the 58MW steam and gas supply. This grid can be powered from two 400/110kV substations, namely Sokolnice and Otrokovice. The load flow calculation is realized for the power supply either from Otrokovice or Sokolnice. Furthermore, the calculation of the uni-phase and three phase short circuits in the substations of 110kV network is realized in this thesis. The result of the thesis is the assessment of the voltage ratio in the network, current load of the power line and short circuit resistance of the substations.

In 2007, in June the company Europrojekt entered the project with the requirement of the formulation and implementation of heating motherly school by heat pumps in the village Hluk. The projekt was ordered by the management of this motherly school. This is a total reconstruction of the heating system building motherly school, including the use of residual heat for heating the pool water in an open swimming pool, which is located near this motherly school. The requirement is also given to reduce environmental pollution and achieve energy savings. This diploma thesis solves the detailed description of solutions and calculations for each part. In first, the introductory part of the work is focused on getting the project, a description of the object motherly school and a proposal for the energy measure before the realization. Second section is devoted to the selection and design of the system of heat pumps and solar collectors. Next part of work is the use of the residual heat for heating the pool water in the transitional months, i.e. May, September and the main months June, July, and August, when should be the visit of the swimming pool the biggest. In addition, resolving heat recovery through plate exchangers, the calculation of storage tanks, valves insurance proposal, the expansion tank, circulation pumps, etc. The last part thesis addresses the energy and economic assessment of the whole project.

Energy Audit of Chosen Building
Sivera, David ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the theoretical clarification of the issue of energy audit, thermal losses and energy audit. Bachelors thesis on the subjekt of energy audit is composed of several parts. In the first part the reader is familiar with the issue of energy audit. The thesis is describe what energy audit used, what does an energy audit consists. There is writte on, who is an energy auditor and what terms and conditions must be met to be able to devise an energy audit. Finally, there are described energy efficient buildings and energy label the building. The second part thesis deals with thermal envelope of the building. Thehe is described the composition of the walls envelope of the building and then overall heat loss the building calculate. The third part the thesis is describe the type sof installed electrical devices in the building. There is describe a type of elektricity meter and the main circuit broker. The last part the thesis is final evaluation. There are summary all possible adjustments in the building. Finally there are describe efficient solutions, where the investor use to the future.
Standard switchboard for PV plants up to 10 kW
Řezáč, Stanislav ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on drawing a single-line diagram and subsequently creating a hybrid photovoltaic system with energy storage, supplemented by a laboratory-use wallbox. The first part of the thesis provides a brief introduction to photovoltaics and presents various photovoltaic system types, as well as introducing different components of the hybrid photovoltaic system. Furthermore, the requirements for connection according to Annex 4 of the Distribution System Operation Rules and the Requirements for Generators directive are described. The second part of the thesis consists of the single-line diagram of the entire system and the module diagram of the R-DC/AC distribution board, based on which the entire system is assembled and connected. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on specifying how the distribution board is connected and describes the procedure for its installation. The measurement protocol for the specific distribution board R-DC/AC has also been prepared. The thesis also includes project documentation of the system, comprising a technical report and the mentioned diagrams.
