5 Abstract Title: Evaluation of changes in the locomotor apparatus of soldiers after applying the elements of health and physical education during a three-month intervention Aim of the Thesis: To emphasize the meaning of health and physical education conduct (hereinafter referred to as health and PE), to apply a set of common health and PE elements during the three-month intervention, to assess the changes in the locomotor apparatus of experimental groups and control groups, and according to the results obtained, to recommend health and physical education as an integral part included in the system of military physical education and training. Methods Used: Empirical approach and research methods were used in this thesis. The concept of a quasi-experiment was used in the research too. The research had three phases: introductive muscle examination, intervention and final muscle examination, followed by a questionnaire. The examined package comprising 60 soldiers was divided into two experimental groups (2 x 20 soldiers) and one control group (20 soldiers). The testing method assessed the locomotor apparatus state of the examined group. Motional activity of people with elephantiasis

T~pic: Motional activity of people with elephantiasis. Goal of the thesis: To evaluate and compare the impact of motional activity on elephantiasis ofarms and legs. Methods: The thesis was worked out as a case study. Sixteen patients participating at lymphodrainage filled the generic questionnaire SF-36. Six people with physical problems were observed during their regular motional activity during six months. The source ofadditional data were taken from the standard medical documentation. The data were evaluated through defmed evaluation criteria and through standard statistical methods. Rusults: The motional activity has positive impact on reduction of elephantiasis and is a part of complex treatment. The active approach of the patient is essential for the success of the whole therapy. The motional activity in a group had a very positive psychical impact on the patients. Heterogeneity of the group - with regards to the intensity and seriousness ofthe disease- stimulated itself and other people's cognition and gave impuls and motivation for the motional activity. MUDr. Jan Kálal CSc. The year of presentation: 2008 Abstract: The target of the work is a presentation of comprehensive look at the rehabilitation after bilateral amputation. The walking with prosthesis by people with bilateral amputation is very difficult. The inquiry proved that in given collection is 48% able to effective locomotion but only for short distance. In connection with it the work pursues with status ofbilateral amputated persons and with the options oftheir resocialisation. It works by the methods of questionnaire and their evaluation. The hypothesis that the bilateral amputated person is under certain condition able to partial resocialize is in the end ofthe work acknowledged. The Injurence in Skydiving

Aim of work: The aim of this work is to learn what kind of injuries are the most frequent in parachuting, to describe reasons, mechanisms and process of injury origin. Using a questionnaire, I would like to learn types of injuries typical for the chosen group of paratroopers. Furthermore, another object of my work is a contribution to improve safety in parachuting. Working methods: Surveyed subject is made of two groups of paratroopers. The first group consists of ASO Dukla Prostějov representatives and the second one is made of members of different randomly selected Czech aeroclubs. The whole number of addressed and questioned paratroopers is 50. The first part ofmy survey results from Dukla Prostějov injury records of the last 5 years. In the second part, I work with the rnethod ofquestionnaire. Results: In the first part related to injury records I find out, that these records are only kept by the Aeroclub of the Czech Republic. In my survey, I intended to get as many information as possible about each addressed paratrooper. These information are evaluated in charts and diagrams in annex 7. The two groups of paratroopers are further compared from the aspect ofinjuries in parachuting. The results are evaluated at the end ofsurvey. Key words: injury, parachuting, questionnaire
Exercise activity for dialysis patients

Title: Exercise activity for dialysis patients The thesis characterizes and summarizes chronic kidney failure and the complications resulting :from this disease. It deals with dialysis patients and their lowered ability to exercise. Aim: The thesis aims to explore the suitability ofvarious forms of exercise for dialysis patients, especially from the point of view and for the purpose of finding the maximum improvement in the functional state, condition and exercise ability as well as the life quality of these patients. A test group was created and has been monitored long-term while undergoing a complex and suitable exercise program created specifically for the individuals ofthis group. The exercise program created should lead to an improvement in their exercise ability, the development oftheir condition and the subjective evaluation ofthe improvement oflife quality. Methodology: The group monitored was observed long-term and repeatedly tested using 3 of the Unifittest battery of tests (6-60). The test was supplemented with anthropometric and motor skill measurements and a survey on life quality. Conservative treatment and motivation of patient with vertebrogenic algic lumbosacral syndrom

Název práce: Konzervativní léčba a motivace pacienta s vertebrogenním algickým syndromem lumbosakrálním Conservative treatment and motivation ofpatient with vertebrogenic algic lumbosacral syndrom. Cíle práce: Přehled metodik používaných při léčbě vertebrogenního algického syndromu lumbosakrálního. Jejich využití v praxi a účinnost terapie. Vliv sociokulturního zázemí pacienta, motivace a vůle pacienta na úspěšnost léčby. Metoda: Návrh a demonstrace terapie vertebrogenního algického syndromu lumbosakrálního v praxi. Komparace - kasuistiky dvou pacientů s vertebrogenním algickým syndromem lumbosakrálním a rozdílnou motivací k terapii. Výsledky: Žádná metoda není univerzálně použitelná a nejlepší. Důležitý je individuální přístup terapeuta, ale hlavně spolupráce pacienta, který v terapii věří a aktivně se podílí na léčebném procesu.
