Impulses of Freinet's pedagogy useful for the czech education

This thesis is focused on Frenchman Celestin Freinet's pedagogy. The theoretical part first deals with the notion of alternative education and seeks to outline the features of the different types of schools in the Czech republic. In addition, a brief biography focuses on Celestin Freinet and describes the basic features and principles of his pedagogy. This part also examine teaching methods and techniques typical of the pedagogy and focuses in detail on one of them, the school magazine. The practical part documents a case study of one Swiss Freinet's school. It describes methods and techniques that are used there, especially the school magazine creation. The second part is dedicated to the practical experiment, which was carried out in the second class of one Czech school. Experiment focuses on a specific technique of free writing and the possibility of integrating this school magazine technique in teaching at the standart Czech school.
Evaluation supporting pupil learning

The pedagogue also chooses certain evaluation method to show individual progress or pupil margin and on their basis choose corresponding way of work. The types of evaluation used by a teacher put in the context the educational reform and current trends used within the obligatory school paper, RVP ZV. This master thesis is searching for evaluation methods resulting from the knowledge of educational psychology about pupil learning process. The particular evaluation methods are further brought out based on the specific objective. Practical part of the paper describes and analyzes the evaluation methods in practice of one teacher in a given school and characterizes evaluation as significant part of her individual concept of teaching. Anotation The main topic of my graduation theses is cooperative learning. Understanding of cooperative learning's system and art of its application in practice is the main intention of my work. The graduation theses incudes two parts - theoretic part and practical part. The theoretic part deals with theory of cooperative learning and its use in the Bohemian schools. The practical part checks theoretic opinions and it focuses on research domain "The influence of cooperation on teaching's processes and results of learning." by means of the research methods of questioning, observation methods and experimenting.
Pupill's portfolio as an evaluation instrument

The thesis has theoretically - researching nature. The theoretical part deals with school evaluation and its altemative methods that are gradually being used in our educational system. Self-assessment and techniques of working with pupiľs portfolio have been discussed in detail. The research findings, that have been learnt during the process of surveying the above mentioned portfolio and comparing methods of its application at different schools and by several teachers, are presented in practical part of the thesis. The research has also scrutinized the presentation portfolio at the end of the 5th grade of elementary school and the working portfolio at the end of school attendance elaborated under guidance of Mrs Vladimíra S.
Impulses of Decroly's pedagogy useful for the czech education

The main topic of my diploma thesis is a pedagogy of the Belgian doctor and pedagogue Ovide Decroly. The theoretical part includes a classification of alternative approaches to education, Decroly's short biography, description of the pedagogy and thematic education in Decroly's school and in the "Step by Step" programme. In the practical part I discuss the application of Decroly's thematic education in the Step by Step programme in the classes of kindergarten and elementary school. The results of my thesis may become useful for those who intent to study Decroly's life and pedagogy and acquire a basic knowledge of the topic. They can also inspire in the work with the thematic education in your own class.
Ecological/Environmental Instruction at a Primary School

The diploma thesis deals with ecological/environmental education in primary school. The aim is to introduce the summary of problems in the process of transformation of the Czech educational system. I will use the acquired pieces of knowledge for suggestion of actual aims, ways and opportunities for new draft strategy of environmental education in the basic school in Jihlava. Project education as an inovative educational metod of the first grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with the project education and with the project method. The theoretic part of the thesis introduces fundamental information referring to the project education, describes the project method, familiarises with the représentants of this method and with the project types and their fulfilment in education. The research part, lead by the method of action investigation, catches the attitude of the teacher's imagination about the idea of the project education - project, what kind of project teachers use most commonly and what advantages and disadvantages has the said project education from the point of view as a teacher. The questionnaire survey follows preferences and favours of the method from the point of view as a pupil and which type of project and in which subject has a pupil met frequently. The author of the thesis presents her own project, in which she verifies the characteristic features of the project method and compares the theory with her own practical experience. The possibilities of the use of project teaching at the first grade of primary school

The theme of this diploma thesis is project teaching and the possibilities of its use at primary schools. This thesis is based on the points of departure and principles of the transformation of Czech education system after 1989, and it is focused on the internal reform of primary education. The key part of the thesis deals with project teaching - mainly its history, characterization and methodology. The practical part attempts to verify project teaching in practice. The authoress created and realized five projects for first grade primary school pupils. Each one contains educational objectives, a map of thougt, a detailed description of its realization, and an evaluation of the project including selfreflection. The pupils' activity during the projects are documented in the appendixes. On the basis of these projects the conditions for successful realization of project teaching at the first grade of primary school are charakterized. Diploma work "Expoundation of key competentions for problems's solving in activity centres Step By Step Programme " is centred on the activity centres theme in Step By Step Programme and on the question, in which way is it possible to expound key competentions, particularly competention for problems's solving. Theoretical part describes today's approach to school teaching in connection with The European trend of training and education. It presents the Step By Step Programme, its bases, policies and fundamentals. It charts the idea of activity centres with historical connection and decribes its approach to the Step By Step Programme. Practical part results from the problemacy of key competentions integration to the school training. Operational investigation proves by evidence the way to their integrating in activity centres use of the Step By Step Programme at one of the primary schools in Prague.
