Cooperative learning and the Results of Pupils

The aim of this theoretical-empirical thesis was to examine the principles of cooperative teaching while working on business letters within the lessons of Commercial-legal Correspondence at secondary school. The main objective of the research was to compare student's results - students' marking in two groups of students following the different types of educational methods: cooperation and non-cooperation. The Attitudes of Secondary School Teachers to State Exams

The aim of this bachelor thesis addressing the topic "Attitudes of high school teacher's on state graduation" is to ascertain the opinions of chosen group of teachers of English and Czech language for state graduation in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains historical excursion to the origin of the graduation exam - its developmental process and changes. In this framework are presented models of graduation exams and the most important personalities who contributed on its development. For we have described the processes in the past, we are able to create an integrated view on the exam, which is reflected into the actual and so discussed spectrum of the qualities of the exam. It's important to say, that we are going to aim only on the most significant and for us crucial changes of the models. The reason is a wide spectrum of changes, that would have exceeded the scope of bachelor thesis. The empirical part interprets opinions of high school teachers on the state graduation, points out the problematic spots of the state graduation exam and suggests potential trends in the state graduation process in the Czech Republic. Teacher's self-reflection as part of his/her pedagogical competencies

This diploma thesis deals with self-reflection of a teacher as one of his key pedagogical competencies. The theoretical part is dedicated to defining a teacher as a reflective teacher. In this part, the significance of a self-reflection in a teacher's work and its influence on his consequential pedagogical activities is emphasised. This thesis describes various methods of self-reflection that teachers can use when self-reflecting. Selfreflection of teacher's work can be an incentive towards improving his further work and contribute to professional growth of a teacher and his lifelong learning. The practical part of this thesis is focused on frequency of self-reflection, its timing, use of self-reflective methods and consequent use of information found.
Individualization in education at the compulsarary schools

This thesis focuses on a problem of individualization in education at the compulsarary school. It has two parts, theoretic part and research part. Theoretical part is divided into five chapters which are focused on resources of individualization, principles of individualization, common approaches to individualization, differentiation, individual educational plans and type of individual education. Research part focuses on the fact how older pupils evaluate educational individualization opportunities.
Discrimination in a multicultural society as a pedagogical problem

This thesis is focused on the problem of discrimination in education and generally in the Czech republic. In the theoretical section are explained the main concepts of discrimination, racism and xenophobia. It also contains basic laws with discriminatory issues. Next it deals with the description of a multicultural society, which builds on multicultural education, which helps children better understand and tolerate the minority in the Czech republic. The practical part is processed on the basis of a questionnaire designed for three types of schools (rural, urban, metropolitan) and determines the orientation of students of selected schools in foreign issues and maps their opinions, attitudes and experience with minorities. Classroom's climate in alternative and traditional school

The climate of the class in a conventional and in an alternative basic school is the main topic of this master thesis. The master thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second one practical. It the theoretical part the main focus is dedicated to an explanation of the terms concerning the theme. The thesis deals with the methods of diagnostics in a class climate. The second part, the practical one, consists of the research held in the school classes of the conventional and alternative type. The research is considered to be a quantitative analysis and its research instrument is a questionnaire. The practical part is intended as a comparison between the climate in the both types of schools. The main goal of the master thesis is firstly to compare school climate in the alternative and conventional school. Secondly the master thesis should interpret the discovered information.
Problems of teaching texts in pedagogy at secondary school of education

The purpose of the thesis of the author Iveta Dřímalová titled Problems of teaching texts of pedagogy at secondary school of education is find out the current situation in the range of teaching texts and textbooks of education. Chapter One stresses the importance of teaching of pedagogy at secondary school of education and classifies this subject as a part of school system. The content of this subject and its realization in teaching is discussed from the didactic point of view. The attention is directed to the choice of teaching texts of pedagogy at secondary school of education and their specific aspects. Chapter Two deals with educational objectives. Further, this chapter deals with fundamental school documents and the didactic analysis of teaching texts. Chapter Three summarizes findings and analyzes them.
Managing of elementary school of the arts during the curricular reform

The doctorate work has a theoretical-empirical nature and is focused on the problems from the area of school management. The work deals with the management of elementary school of the arts in a period of curricular reform of elementary music education. Theoretical part outlines ways out for investigation of selected problems which are connected with management of transformational changes in elementary schools of the arts. The work offers view of up-to-date attitudes and paradigms of management, its structure and content and points out the spectrum of leadership styles and people motivation. The work deals with creative way of direction, leadership, which compares with operative direction, and managerial problems: change management, knowledge management and talent management. The work surveys range of obligations and responsibilities of the director of elementary school of the arts and handles with some factors connected to his personality, such as authority, competences, self-management and self-motivation. Reliability of evaluation in selected technical subjects

v anglickém jazyce Annotation In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I deal with the definitions of school evaluation, conception of the current evaluation, types of evaluation, characteristics of evaluation, specifications of the secondary technical school evaluation, as well as the assessment in specialised subjects and reliability of the assessment as the condition of the objective evaluation. The empirical part deals with the level of reliability in the assessment of a set task in the subject - Commercial - Law Correspondence. The written and oral communication and written and electronic communication. The teachers of this subject, at three secondary technical schools in Prague 1, 4 and 9, were asked to give students a specific task and assess it according set criteria. One of the assessors was the teacher of the subject and I was the second one. The reliability was defined as the identity rate of the independent assessment of the same school tasks carried out by two assessors. In the summary I reflect the contribution and drawbacks of the research and the task assessment done by the other teachers and my own assessment. I try to suggest the steps for following the basic rules of criteria in business letters.
Work of the coordinator of school education programme

The thesis offers a comprehensive look at the work of the Coordinator of the school educational programme, his professional and personal prerequisites for the performance of specialized function. In the theoretical part of the work is defined the role of the Coordinator, described the content of his activity and characterized his managerial skills needed to management of creating of the school educational programmes. One part of the work is a description of the activities of the Coordinator in the preparation, formation and implementation of the school educational programme. The empirical part of the thesis includes an analysis of the educational programme entitled: The Coordinator of the school educational programme. By means of interviews with the coordinators of school educational programmes, they were inquired about their experience with the authors of educational programmes and the utilization of knowledge from a preparatory course in real activity. Questionnaire survey was the basis for finding out opinions of the educational programmes creators themselves on the activity of the coordinators. Area of research was focused on the schools in the Pilsen region.
