Autonomous cell "Ice cube feeder" for Industry 4.0 testbed
Mařas, Michael ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Sýkora, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the description of the proposal and implementation of autonomous cells called Ice cube feeder. Gradually, we will learn how the implementation of autonomous cells in terms of design, electrical and programming. The concept represents the ideas of Industry 4.0. The entire production process follows the ANSI/ISA-S88 batch control standard, which describes the batch control process.
Design and implementation of software for transportation entities of the Industry 4.0 testbed.
Sýkora, Tomáš ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with construction and software of transport entities for testbed Industry 4.0. The aim of the thesis is to create a transport network for moving a glass with a drink between individual cells on a production table. A four-axis Epson SCARA manipulator is used to transport the glass and a conveyor with carriages is designed to serving the finished drinks. The first part deals with the description of used components and their electrical connections. The second part describes the program solution of robotic manipulator and programmable logic controller. The final part is devoted to the description of problems arising during implementation.
Implementing technology visualisation in COMES
Sýkora, Tomáš ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with visualization of laboratory tasks in the COMES production information system from Compas automatizace s.r.o. The first part describes the COMES system and its individual parts. The second part deals with the description of the laboratory task. The third part describes the program part of the work with a detailed description for easy extension of the task. And the final part is dedicated to the documentation of the created application.
Electronic business card/price tag with wireless communication
Sirůček, Václav ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the desing of an electronic business card, a portable imaging device that will display data about the wearer (name, surename, phone nuber and email). Claims are for long-term battery life and remote display of data on an electronic ink display. At work there is a solution for powering the product with display and its wireless communication with the computer or phone. There is also a multi-card systém solution, a display of business card’s battery status, a display update, a cicuit scheme, an electronic business card case design and final implementation.
Design and implementation of custom home automation device
Šilar, Adam ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the market of commercial smart home devices, then, based on the obtained information, choose one platform and design a solution for implementing your own smart device into the platform. The solution includes several experimental attempts, that try to integrate their own devices into the Google Home platform. The proposed solution deals with the creation of the definition of its own device in the platform for one or more devices in one project. The developed program for the device with the selected microcontroller supports the use of local control of commands on the home network with the help of available protocols without the use of third-party internet services.
Construction of tires
Sýkora, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the construction of tires and to compare construction of vehicles of the different categories. The first part describes the historical development, basic characteristics and forces that affect on the wheel of the vehicle. Furthermore, the construction of the tire is analyzed in detail and the method of marking the tires is explained. The second part of the thesis is focused on the differences in tire construction of individual vehicles categories such as single-track, passenger, truck and racing. In conclusion, some construction alternatives are mentioned and the future development of tires is estimated.
Automatic check for the certification label
Čambál, René ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Sýkora, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis proposes a quality improvement in the field of automated control of the presence/absence of the certification label for car seats meant for the Chinese market, by introducing quality inspection of the label and inspection of the correct affixietion position at a predetermined seat position. The main benefit of the work is to provide a measure using Poka-Yoke control by automating the process at Lear Corporation Seating Slovakia s.r.o.
Electronic information panel for medical purposes with wireless communication
Zerzán, Jan ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis is about design and realization of wireless electronic informatial panel. Each individual component and its implementation is described in this paper. Information panel well be controled via web server, which will be running on another device.
Simulation and measurement of microchannel photomultiplier (MCP-PMT) treated by deposition of a protective atomic layer (ALD)
Bucko, Jakub ; Sýkora, Tomáš (advisor) ; Georgiev, Vjaceslav (referee)
Time detectors will form a fundamental component in the further develop- ment of detection devices, not only in high-energy physics. The MicroChannel Plate PhotoMultiplier (MCP-PMT) is a very fast (and very expensive) multi- purpose photomultiplier and time detector. It is currently the best available in terms of time resolution. In addition to the fact that its response is very fast, this response is also resistant to magnetic fields. The MCP-PMT is used in a number of current or upcoming Time-of-Flight (ToF) detectors. The de- velopment of MCP-PMTs is expensive and time-consuming. The process can be simplified by developing a computer model that can be used to simulate the behaviour of MCP-PMT. The model can greatly accelerate the development of a new type of MCP-PMT for high signal repetition rates (> 20 MHz) and save a number of laboratory experiments. An attempt to construct an MCP-PMT model is the goal of this work. 1
Model of hot water exchanger station
Major, Martin ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Sýkora, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on a custom-built heat exchanger station for teaching in the laboratories of the Institute of Automation and Measurement Technology. It deals with the identification of the already installed components in the station model, the wiring of the electrical switchboard, and the programming of the system for its control. A heat exchange station is a device that is used to safely transfer heat energy between heat transfer fluids. The entire station and the heat exchange process are controlled by a PLC from Siemens and operated via an operator panel. The control program and the visualization of the operator panel were created in the Tiaportal development environment from Siemens. The programming language used is FBD and SCL.
