Assessment of thermal comfort in buildings
Procházka, Aleš ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarises knowleges about methods used for assessments of thermal comfort in buldings. In opening part of thesis is thermal comfort introduces as important part of overall satisfaction with indoor environment. There are also described fyziological basics and ways of thermoregulation and individual elements of thermal balance. Next part of thesis is focused on thermal and humidity factors of indoor environment. Some combinations of these factors form thermal comfort. Main part of thesis describes methods of assesments of thermal comfort using PMV and PPD indices. For practical uses there are examples of comfort diagrams, which are based on PMV index, Thermal Comfort Meter and Thermal Manikin. Last part contains description of some instruments for measurement of used physical values.
Leisure-time padagogues workshop: War as the theme of literature for Children and Youth
PROCHÁZKA, Aleš
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of war in literature for children and youth and its use in leisure time pedagogy. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part analyzes the war in a broader context (characteristics, wars of the 20th century, war literature), a selection of contemporary war literature for children and youth, suitable teaching methods for working with literary texts and developmental specifics of school-age children. The practical part contains a set of methodical sheets from the chosen books, containing their verification in practice, including reflection.

Title: Artificial Neural Networks and Their Usage For Knowledge Extraction Author: RNDr. Zuzana Petříčková Department: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathema- tical Logic Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Iveta Mrázová, CSc., Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Abstract: The model of multi/layered feed/forward neural networks is well known for its ability to generalize well and to find complex non/linear dependencies in the data. On the other hand, it tends to create complex internal structures, especially for large data sets. Efficient solutions to demanding tasks currently dealt with require fast training, adequate generalization and a transparent and simple network structure. In this thesis, we propose a general framework for training of BP/networks. It is based on the fast and robust scaled conjugate gradient technique. This classical training algorithm is enhanced with analytical or approximative sensitivity inhibition during training and enforcement of a transparent in- ternal knowledge representation. Redundant hidden and input neurons are pruned based on internal representation and sensitivity analysis. The performance of the developed framework has been tested on various types of data with promising results. The framework provides a fast training algorithm,...
Packet Processing Using DPDK Library
Procházka, Aleš ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Grégr, Matěj (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on filtering and forwarding packets in high speed networks. Firstly the DPDK framework is introduced, which is used for fast packet processing. This project also introduces a design of application for high-speed packet filtering and design of tools for making it easier to work with that application. Subsequently, the implementation of this design is introduced and testing with comparison of results with a standard firewall
Representation of the 1953 Currency Reform in Czechoslovakia in the Official Media
Procházka, Aleš ; Bednařík, Petr (advisor) ; Knapík, Jiří (referee)
Aleš Procházka Abstract Representation of the 1953 Currency Reform in Czechoslovakia in the Official Media The main goal of this paper is to analyze and summarize the way the 1953 currency reform in Czechoslovakia was represented in the official media. The method that was used was an analysis of articles in several selected newspapers from relevant months of 1953 and comparison of obtained data to contemporary historical findings. The newspapers analyzed were Slovak newspapers Pravda and Práca and Czech newspapers Rudé právo, Pilsner Pravda and Svobodné slovo. The thesis consists of three sections, covering situation in Czechoslovakia before the currency reform took effect, the newspaper analysis and the description of reactions of citizens to the currency reform. One of the secondary goals of this thesis - that is, to find out whether the citizens of Czechoslovakia could anticipate and prepare for the impact of the currency reform in 1953 - has proven conclusive, granted that the reader has an access to more than one newspaper. Perhaps the most decisive evidence was the announcement of changes in the salary payout system, which was publicized in the beginning of May. The other secondary research goal of the thesis was to analyze the differencies in representation of the currency reform in Czech and Slovak...
The end of the primary school of J. A. Komensky in Písek
PROCHÁZKA, Aleš
This Bachelor thesis focuses on the closing of the Jan Amos Komensky primary school in Písek. Six chapters describe the history of the Písek city, its education system, the establishment of an education institution in the Aleš square and important events that influenced the school from the beginning until the end of the 20th century. The thesis examines the reason behind the closing of the primary school J. A. Komensky but also describes the future of the school building which was rebuilt into a public library and into Písek´s center of education. This thesis mainly analyzes historical documents such as chronicles and official records.
Projet of reconstruction of the 22 kV incoming substation and the cable network in the faculty hospital campus
Komárek, Filip ; Procházka, Aleš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the area hospital distribution networkand one of the hospital's entry substation. The first part of this master's thesis deals with the project of the new cable network, her gradual revival without any power outages at the collection points. Futher, in this thesis is project of temporary transformer station for supplying power during the reconstruction of the HV switchboard. Subsequently, in this thesis is project of the new HV switchboard in one of the entry substation. new HV switchgear and a new HV substation were projected. Futher, in this thesis is proposed compensation of the whole area, including the HV network.

The Influence of Inline Skating on the Knee Joint
Procházka, Aleš ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Malá, Jitka (referee)
Title of the thesis: The influence of inline skating on the knee joint. Abstract: lnline skating is one of the fastest growing sport acitivities not only in the USA and the Western Europe but in the entire Czech Republic as well. Many people understand inline skating as a possible leisure activity- a fitness activity such as jogging, other do the inline skating as a supplementary summer sport to crosscountry skiing and other see it as an attractive means of transport. Many non- experienced enthusiasts as well as recreational and top athletes have tried to move on inline skates. There are available skating products of various quality and price on the market. The thesis deals with influence of inline skating on the entire structures and functions of a knee joint. Apart from the physiological effects on respiratory, cardiovascular system etc. exists a topíc which has not been talked about: that is the influence of a periodic and repeating movement on the locomotory system and especially on the knee joint. The skate's construction, its rigidity, individua! skating technique and the status of skater's locomotory system as well as the quality of surface seem to have fundamental ímportance in this aspect. The quality of the surface together with fast skating may cause sígnificant vibrations. Key words: inline...
