Design of a special effector for autonomous robot
Med, Slavomír ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of a specialized end effector for an autonomous robot capable of collecting plant samples from plant leaves. The theoretical part describes the classification of industrial manipulators, their end effectors, and briefly outlines plant research. Plant research is the specific application area for this end effector. Based on a review of available solutions, several conceptual variants are proposed, and the best one is selected using multicriteria analysis. This concept is tested and further developed until its final form. Subsequently, calculations are performed for the pneumatic circuit of the end effector, and safety requirements are outlined. The conclusion of the thesis includes an economic evaluation of the entire end effector, project assessment, and recommendations for further steps.
End effector for manipulation of shape-complex components
Kiselev, Danila ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the conceptual design of a universal end effector for handling shape complex components. The first part of this thesis focuses on a detailed research in the field of end-effectors especially manipulation end-effectors with a detailed description of their subsets. The next section is a system analysis that defines the problem situation and searches for an optimal solution. This is followed by an end effector design section that describes the individual components and the resulting assembly. The component descriptions include technical parameters. To verify functionality, a check calculation of the required gripping force was performed. Based on the results, a working head was selected. The critical moments are checked and compared to the manufacturer's maximum values, confirming the functionality of the proposed concept. At the end of the paper, in the evaluation and discussion chapter, other design options and their advantages and disadvantages in relation to the conceptual option are discussed. 3D models and manufacturing documentation of the individual components and assemblies have been developed.
Adaptive setting of ball screws in milling CNC machining centers
Sedlák, Václav ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a mechanism that provides adaptive ball screw mounting for CNC milling machining centres. First, a research of the current state of the art is carried out, then three design variants are proposed based on a system analysis. Next, an optimal variant is selected and two solutions are proposed to cover the widest possible range of needs of CNC machining centers. After the technical calculations, 3D models and accompanying technical documentation were created.
Design of end effectors for forgings handling in an automated line
Pazour, Jiří ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of four end effectors for forgings handling in an automated forging line. After a systematic analysis and determination of important variables, three conceptual variants of effectors were proposed, from which the best one was selected by means of multicriteria analysis. The parallel gripper variant was selected as the best one, for which the jaw shapes were designed and the required gripping force was calculated. According to the required stroke per jaw and force, the parallel gripper PGN-plus-P 300-1-V was selected, for which sensors, fittings, hoses, guards and valves were chosen. Furthermore, the manufactured parts, e.g. guards and flanges, were designed. The final design was verified by calculations for the maximum load of the gripper and the industrial robot. Last but not least, the total purchase price of the four effectors was estimated at CZK 620,000. This amount did not include the costs of assembly and the profit on sale.
Design of bench drill
Štěrba, Jakub ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the work is a bench drill structural design. The first part describes drilling machine categories, compares some of drill press machines available on the market and lists main flaws of most drilling machines on the market. In the second part the basic concept is selected and the actual design of the individual components of the drill is performed. The third part contains selected strength and kinematic calculations. In the last part, the final model of the machine is presented, and the current production progress is discussed.
Extruder design for special 3D printing
Šedý, Karel ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a design and construction of an extruder for 3D printing of ceramic clay. The author aims to find a simple method of assembly and cleaning of the extruder. In the introduction of the bachelor thesis, the reader is briefly introduced to the history of 3D printing. Furthermore, the thesis examines 3D printing and ceramic clay, including its types, properties, and suitability for 3D printing. In the following chapters, possible problems with ceramic clay printing and how to avoid these problems are described. A multi-criteria analysis including key parameters and their weights was used to select a suitable design option. The final chapter provides a detailed description of the chosen variant's construction.
Design of spindle for lathe
Novotný, Timotej ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of headstock of turning center. The introduction of the work is devoted to a brief description of turning centers and detailed description of individual parts of headstock. The main part of the work consists of determining the characteristics of the headstock, calculations necessary for design and dimensioning and calculations using the finite element method. The result of the work is a 3D model of the designed headstock and drawing documentation.
The design of table belt sander
Šimčík, Jaroslav ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
Jaroslav Simcik The design of table belt sander BP, Institute of production machines, systems and robotíce, 2008, p. 41, fig.19, appendices 15 This bachelor´s thesis belongs in the domain of wood-working engineering with a direction on a construction of a belt sander. The surface speed of a abrasive belt has to be 11 metre per second.
Construction of rolling machine of steel sections
Křivohlávek, Pavel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Matějka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design steel beams bending machine. In the introduction, is characterized by a bending machine and carried out research costs, including factory-produced manufacturers. Followed by a proposal of alternative solutions, evaluating them and selecting the most appropriate conception. The next section is described in detail the proposed model, including stress analysis of loaded parts. The thesis also examined the safety of a forming machine, prepared an analysis of possible defects and their consequences in the design. Finally, it created the design documentation on the proposed machine made pricing and maintenance described rolling machine.
Design of flying rotary shears
Tulis, Tomáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design flying rotary shears for metal cutting at high speed. The shears are a part of a rolling mill where they are used to cut faces and ends of the simple sections, i.e. rounds or squares. In case of the malfunction of the rolling mill, the shears can be used for scrapping the simple sections. A technical report with function destription of the machine as well as machine design according to specified parameters and control calculations are an integral part of the thesis. The required design documentation is included.
