University Campus Bohunice - Construction Technological Project

This diploma thesis addresses the „University Campus Bohunice - Architectural and technological project“. This thesis includes excavation, pile foundation, reinforced concrete foundation slab it also deals with in detail technological regulations on earthworks and deep-pile foundation. The thesis contains solutions to building equipment, schedule of selected stages of the construction situation with the solution of transport routes, designed mechanical assembly required for selected stages and control plan earthworks and deep-pile foundation. This diploma thesis addresses the „University Campus Bohunice - Architectural and technological project“. This project involves construction of two buildings. Building A32 with two basement floors and three floors and second building A 31 with one basement floor and three floors. This thesis includes excavation, pile foundation, reinforced concrete foundation slab, it also deals with technological regulations of earthworks and deep-pile foundation in detail. The thesis contains solutions to construction site equipment, schedule of selected stages of the construction, location of buildings and the solution of transport routes, mechanical equipment required for selected stages of project and control plan of earthworks and deep-pile foundation.

A study of erosion control system using biotechnical conservation measures

The objective of the bachelor thesis was the study of soil erosion control with application of system of semi-natural measures in chosen small catchment. Digital elevation model was generated and average soil loss was determined by ArcGis tools at each erosion parcel . Design of erosion control at chosen erosion risked locality was create in Microstation software and InRoads utilities. As a type of enviromental erossion control mesures was chosen a system of a earthfill dams with the sedimentation area in combination with grassing. The thesis efforts to point the differences between the possible optimal solution and a compromise solution which respects the requirements of agricultural entities. The solution respects the trend of water retention in landscape and use of low cost measures.

Personal elevator for a residential building

Master’s thesis deals with application of new suspension means for personal elevator instead of conventional steel wire rope includes calculation of traction. Followed by assessment of passive resistance generated by guiding elevator on guide rails and caused by various locations of suspension and guiding (car guide rails). In the last part of thesis contains a strength analysis of car frame by Finite elements method (FEM) in programme NX I-deas.

Simulation and modeling of free body dynamic inside sea drifter

This thesis deals with the development of a simulation model of an energy harvester based on the electromagnetic resonator principle. The introduction focuses on a search of the devices created so far for the conversion of kinetic energy of the sea into electrical energy. Furthermore, a model of the resonator design tuned to a frequency of 1.6 Hz is created in the body dynamics program MSC Adams. Simulations are performed in this program to analyze the resonator properties. Finally, the model is tested by real sea excitation. From these simulations, the electrical power obtained by this device is then predicted. Under regular sea excitation, the harvester power reached instantaneous peak values of 5 W and in case of irregular sea excitation the peak power values reached up to 16 mW.

Manufacturing of a hinge

The project presents design of technology production of the hinge made of metal sheet plate 11 321. The variant proposed solutions have been designed manufacturing cutting and bending technology in transfer combined die. These themes were elaborated in literatures studies. As a working machine was selected eccentric press LEN 40 C of Slovak producer TOMA INDUSTRIES s.r.o., Trnava, with a nominal force 400 kN. Functional parts are made of tool steel 19 436. In economic results was defined cost of one piece including manufacturers profit and the break-even point, which is coming after production of 151 966 pieces.
