Belžík, Roman ; Moravcová, Eva (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a new building – a cultural and educational center, located in the town of Uherské Hradiště. The building is fitted to the central part of the city, on unused building lot, with good access to public transport links. The building is designed as a partial basement facility, with three floors and a basement. Structurally it is a column-based, skeletal support system, made of reinforced concrete. The basement part consists of bearing walls of reinforced concrete. The ceiling structure is made of locally backed, cross-reinforced slabs, also made of reinforced concrete. The outer perimeter infill masonry is constructed of ceramic bricks with a thickness of 300mm. Interior bearing walls are made of reinforced concrete of appropriate dimensions. Dividing walls are made of plasterboard constructions. Roof structures are formed by a system of flat roofs and terraces. In principle there are two types – the roofs with safety waterproofing and the ones without it. The base structure consists of footings and strips of reinforced concrete.

Load bearing system of whole object is designed as irregular reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton from concrete C30/37 with prestressed elements and based on prestressed reinforced concrete slab. The cladding is designed from ceramic bricks with inner additional insulation and additional insulation on outer surface, which is covered by facade with ventilated air gap, designed from cement-fibers boards, which are by color and structure imitating natural stone. Each accommodation floor is divided into two accommodation sides, central part with central stairs and two personal elevators. Each accommodation side has two protected escape routes and one fire evacuation lift. On the Ground floor, there is the reception, the dining hall, the pool hall and offices. Locus standi of non-privileged applicants to bring an action for annulment
Moravcová, Eva ; Svoboda, Pavel (advisor) ; Král, Richard (referee)
Locus standi of non-privileged applicants to bring an action for annulment Abstract Every developed legal system is bound to have a mechanism for checking the procedural and substantive legality of measures adopted by its institutions. In the European Union it was of significant importance to create a system of control over the acts of the EU institutions given the democratic deficit within the Union and the limited supervisory role of the European Parliament. Binding acts of the EU institutions are subject to review through a number of routes provided by the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and the Treaty on the European Union (TEU), namely action for annulment (Art. 263 TFEU), the plea of illegality (Art. 277 TFEU), the preliminary reference (Art. 267 TFEU) and the action for damages (Arts. 268 and 340 TFEU). The Court has consistently endeavoured to treat the several strands as a complex and coherent system of judicial review within the Union based on the rule of law. The action for annulment under Art. 263 TFEU plays a crucial role for individuals as it is in practice the only direct way open to individuals to challenge the acts of EU institutions. The main purpose of my thesis is to examine whether the current wording of Art. 263(4) TFEU provides for individuals a sufficiently...
Identification of a respondent as a gang member in ISRD-2: Czech republic in the European context
Moravcová, Eva ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Sládek, Jan (referee)
This thesis focuses on problems with identification of respondent as a gang member from the standpoint of process of operationalisation, which give a selection of adequate indicators, in international survey International Self-Report Delinquency Study 2. Its objective is to propose a revision of existing definition of Eurogang for selected European countries and evaluate the possibility of creating one universal definition of a gang across Europe. The thesis is separated into three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical. In the first part we particularly pay attention to the basic conceptions of juvenile delinquency. Subsequently, we discuss different types of definitions and the way of their formation. Finally, we mention important definitions of a gang that are often used in many surveys which focus on gangs or delinquent groups in general. In methodological part of the thesis we present the most important indicators of juvenile delinquency: official statistics and self-report studies. One of them is also the international survey ISRD-2. We concentrate not only on techniques of data collection and definition of the gang and its operationalisation according to Eurogang group, which were used in this survey, but also on basic information about sample for all analyzed countries and limit...

Problems of teams, gangs and delinquent grouping of young people. Question of gang membership
Moravcová, Eva ; Podaná, Zuzana (referee) ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on problems with identification of respondent as a gang member from the standpoint of process of operationalisation, which give a selection of adequate indicators, whereas we emphasize the cognitive aspects of survey methodology. The thesis is separated into two parts: theoretical and empirical. In the first part we particularly pay attention to the basic theories of social deviations as theory of cultures and subcultures, social control or differential association and identification from Chicago school, which we mention in connection with problems of peers, and also to the area of cognitive aspect of survey methodology, precisely to one of four phases of process of asking and answering the question - interpretation of the question. Further, we mention international survey ISRD-2 (International Self-Report Delinquency Study), techniques of data collection, definition of the gang and its operationalisation according to Eurogang group During the data analysis we try to work with the operationalisation of the gang definition. There are two important moments regarding the membership in the gang: the question of understanding the word "gang" by broader spectrum of respondents in different cultural conditions and the meaning of the word "illegal", when committing of illegal things is one of...
