Web application for waste containers placement planning
Vidlička, Adam ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to create a web application that will serve as a tool for creation and management of municipal waste collection infrastructure. Computational functions developed at the Institute of Process Engineering will be utilized for more optimal creation of the waste collection infrastructure. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the zoom in on waste management in the Czech Republic, the motivation behind developing the web application, and the technologies used during its development. The practical part of the thesis describes the creation of the basic concept of the web application and provides subsequent descriptions of its individual components.
Navigation Systems
Pospíšil, Václav ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is devoted to a comprehensive description and development of global navigation satellite systems, which is followed by the second part, which adresses their use through navigation devices and applications. The second part discusses the properties and specifications of individual devices and applications. Part of this work is the final evaluation of individual applications in terms of their technical parametres.
Meaning and calculation of the mathematical constant
Geršl, David ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the meaning and methods for calculating the mathematical constant . The theoretical part focuses on the history of the methods for calculating this constant, while the most important ones, such as calculating by integral calculus or power series, are derived in detail in separate chapters. The practical part deals with the computational complexity of individual formulas and their subsequent comparison.
Automation of business processes using the RPA method
Kalus, Zdeněk ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with principles of RPA application for the field of administrative processes automation. Thesis states possible risks, benefits and technologies related to RPA. The main part of the thesis outlines key indicators of processes that are suitable for automation, key areas on which company should focus when implementing RPA and fundamentals of RPA implementation. The following part of the thesis analyses products of leading companies in RPA sector. In the last part a company process for automation is recommended. The selection of the process is explained given the facts found in the previous parts of the thesis.
Model visualization in virtual reality
Cmajdálka, Ondřej ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with phenomenon called virtual reality, its historical development and nowadays used technologies. The next part is dedicated to game engines, their history and structure. In practical part a proposal and development of virtual reality environment is described. The proposed environment demonstrates selected features of the game engine that make it a suitable tool for developing virtual reality environments.
Synthetic data generator aimed at development of drone detectors
Zlatníčková, Marie ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of creating images of realistic-looking images from 3D models of drones. The search section of this thesis explains the basic concepts in digital image processing and the use of neural networks in the detection and recognition of objects in the image. The practical part of this work deals with the implementation of a software solution that creates tagged colored images from digital 3D drone models. These images can contain one or more drones in different flight phases, with different light, rotation or blur.
Data-driven sensors and their applications
Pakr, Jiří ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
Soft sensors are a gradually expanding technique in the field of industrial measurement. These sensors are computer programs that provide additional data using previously acquired data in a similar way to conventional hardware sensors. The additional data is obtained using predictive models based on machine learning methods such as neural networks or support vector machines. This work mainly includes a research on the function, structure and creation of soft sensors. It also describes machine learning, the distribution of its algorithms and introduces the methods commonly used in the field of virtual sensors. Towards the end, the author describes possible future development of soft sensors and the direction of further applications.
PetNetSim Library Computation Performace Optimization
Dražka, Vojtěch ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to optimize the computation speed of the PetNetSim library, which is currently implemented in Python. The purpose of the thesis was to approach the optimization from a broader perspective and try to speed up Python using various techniques. The thesis explores the solutions available in the form of alternative interpreters, extending modules, trans-compilation methods and the possibility of developing the computational core as a module written in the system language. The practical part describes efforts to implement these methods and their comparison. Furthermore, the multiprocessing method is implemented and the procedure for developing the computational core as an extending module is outlined.
Using machine learning for quality control in industrial applications
Gaško, Viktor ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Parák, Roman (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to get acquainted with issue of quality control in industrial applications with focus on deep learning. For this and similar issues was created several libraries which have a purpose of simplifying these issues. Main task is to create program for quality control with help of programming language Python and framework Tensorflow. This program will be comprised of three neural network, from which one will identify the approximate position of the part, second its color, and third will check the correctness of its production.
Grid and Cloud Computing
Began, Jakub ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with cloud and grid technologies. The first part discusses cloud computing technology, its components, infrastructure, models, advantages, disadvantages, and security risks. The following section describes computing and data grids, their function, use and security. The last part of the thesis shows an overview of the commercial market of cloud and grid services.
