Performance analysis of SFNs transmitters of DVB-T2

The diploma thesis deals with the design and analysis of Single Frequency Networks (SFNs) transmitters for Digital Video Broadcasting – second generation of the Terrestrial (DVB-T2). In this thesis, the software of the Czech company CRC data is used. Main attention is focused on the SFN Networks computational system for the analysis and design od DVB-T2 SFN networks, in which a series of simulations of the transmitting Multiplex 21 (CH26) have been performed. The simulation-based results are used to identify locations with lower signal coverage or interfering sources as well as to find appropriate approaches to solve these issues. The rightness of the performed simulations is verified by field measurements in cooperation with the Czech Telecommunications Office (CTU), and finally a discussion on how to improve the performance of SFN networks follows.

Laboratory Workplace To Measure Dvb-T2 Miso Signal

This article presents a laboratory workplace to measure DVB-T2 MISO signal under laboratory conditions. The performance of DVB-T2 MISO signal influenced by different transmission conditions can be evaluated in terms of the most commonly used objective parameters, like BER before and after channel decoding and MER. Functionality of the proposed concept and the adopted measurement methodology are verified by a set of experimental measurements.

Laboratory workplace for measurement of DVB-T2 MISO broadcasting

This bachelor thesis deals with measurement and analysis of DVB-T2 MISO broadcasts. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the broadcasting chain of the DVB-T2 system at the level of the physical layers. Attention is paid to both SISO and MISO transmit modes. In the experimental part of the work is to design a measuring workplace for monitoring and analysis of DVB-T2 MISO transmission in laboratory conditions. The functionality of the proposed concept and chosen measuring methodology was verified by a set of experimental measurements.

Comparison of Democratic Consolidation in Former Eastern Bloc

The aim of this thesis is to numerically evaluate democratic consolidation in Eastern European countries of the former Eastern Bloc. To compare these countries with each other and decide which of these countries can be considered as consolidated democracies. Secondary aim is to find which factors supported this consolidation or at least correlate with it. Theoretical basis of this work is Wolfgang Merkel's theory of democratic consolidation. He divides democratic consolidation into four levels: constitutional consolidation, representative consolidation, behavioral consolidation and democratic consolidation of the political culture. Each level of democratic consolidation is numerically expressed, with usage of Bertelsmann's transformation index data, separately for all states in two-year intervals since 2005 to 2015. Based on that, overall democratic consolidation is calculated. Therefore, we can compare countries between each other and in time. Correlation between factors supporting consolidation and overall democratic consolidation is expressed by Pearson correlation coefficient. Mechanical properties of gel polymer electrolytes

This work deals with the measurement of electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of gel polymer electrolyte containing Lithium ion. Their preparation and performance depends on the concentration of nanoparticles Al2O3 contained therein. The theoretical part deals with the development of gel polymer electrolyte, their use and methods of measurement of electrical conductivity and mechanical properties. In the experimental part describes the preparation of gel electrolyte, the measurement of electrical conductivity, temperature dependence and the measurement of mechanical properties.

Slab bridge over the Lužnice River

The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to design a slab bridge over the Lužnice river. The bridge consists of a one span. Implementation was designed in three studies, of which is developed in detail the study of prestressed monolithic slab. To create a static model and to calculate the internal forces is used Scia Engineer 2012. The assessment is processed manually according to European standards. Losses of preload are estimated, the effect of shrinkage and creep is neglected.
